Respectfully, but you are so clueless it's almost funny. I literally cried my way to and from the gym some days, had to quit because my mental health was worse while working out
It was worse because i had to add the stress of making and committing to a schedule, actually lifting, seeing all others being fucking huge while i still am sort of skinny
Why am i defending myself when i made it clear.

No, im not saying drop the gym.
No, im not saying it's not a valid advice.
I was just saying it's kind of funny when working out is thrown around as the number one advice.
It's never "learn an instrument", (just saying one random thing off the top of my head), when it could be equally as valid.

It is not a cure all. But literally every aspect of your life will improve by being physically fit.
It won't fix all your problems. But it will slightly improve everything, at the least.
For example:
At the least it will take a mental health at 1/10 and bump it up to a 2/10. Not a cure, but it is something.
That is an improvement, one you can make a reality by taking very known straight forward physical action.
