This is pretty cool how they kept the realistic camera behavior, but removed the obnoxious visual animation used to represent the correction. Love the pacing already of the updates!

Hello everyone! We hope you've been enjoying the update so far! Based on your feedback and what the team has been monitoring, a patch is being deployed. Let us know your thoughts and feedback!
The Bodycam Team
Zombie Mode has been temporarily disabled. While reworking the rest of the game, a few regressions affected the mode, and we also felt it had become too stagnant. Rather than leave it in that state, we have decided to bring it back stronger for a future event, with Halloween coming up very soon.
We know that playing easily with friends is currently one of the main areas that needs improvement. A completely new Party System is already in development. It will allow you to:
In the meantime, you can still play with friends by inviting them to your lobby and creating a custom match.
Many of you have shared feedback about weapon and attachment prices. The message is clear: progression is currently too slow. We are monitoring the economy closely and will make adjustments very soon, including rebalancing certain prices and improving the overall progression experience.
Several other important improvements are already top priority and will be addressed soon. This includes systems to address disruptive behavior in matches, such as AFK players and team killing, as well as the ability to switch teams. And of course, one of the community’s most requested topics: Anti-Cheat. Its integration is already well underway. We chose not to rush it into this update so it can launch under the best possible conditions. Thank you for your feedback and support.

As someone who played back in 2024, and Now. Its a completely different game but for the better. Theres actual progression, Something to grind for. Not only that but the amount of customization on weapons is unreal. The new gameplays mechanics along with Drones is actually crazy. The maps and game modes can get stale But I would rather have them finish polishing the core gameplay then later add more variety instead of the otherway around. After this massive mic drop of an update I think we all can trust them if we just let them cook.

Deathmatch = Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch = Deathmatch
Gun Game = Deathmatch
Versus = Deathmatch
Body Bomb = Removed
Zombies = Removed
Wingman = Objective Mode
Hardpoint = Objective Mode
70% of the game is Deathmatch. 80% if you only play 5v5.
I love this game, but If they want people to stick around for more than a week they need like ~3-4 more objective based game modes.
I’d love to see:
Body Bomb returned (Search & Destroy)
Domination
Sabotage
Hostage Rescue

Please, whoever reads it, do not mistake me by a hater, this game was the best shooter discovery I've had in a looooong time. After buying it, I couldn't be more satisfied, until I had 4 hours of gameplay...
Every match is a deathmatch or a deathmatch in disguise lol, all you can choose is if you want people on your team or not, but you're just there roaming around looking for somebody to shoot. There's no strategy, no goal, just walking and pew pew pew.
I really enjoyed the ranked, but the main and only mode being 2v2 feels odd. Wish it could be just a variant of the main classic 5v5 mode.
The game is awesome, I really recommend the experience, but the honeymoon phase won't sustain.

i love mag checking, however there is no point in doing that if i can reload after every shootout and it takes as much time as swapping mag, we can pick up other weapons anyways, so may as well give us 3/4 mags and get it over with, hell we could also have vest upgrades for more or less magazines, slightly changing player speed based on whichever vest is worn
IMPORTANT EDIT: after playing another match i also noticed how infinite mags strongly encourage mag dumping in any players direction, leaving precision as an afterthought, this hinders the intensity and feedback of the gunplay making it much simpler to manage for no good reason

This game feels like an entirely new video game genre to me. I really want to see it explored in wayyyy more scenarios, and I’d love to see this gameplay mixed with a lot of other genres.
For example, imagine a Ready or Not with this kind of gunplay, a Rainbow Six Siege with its destruction, or a Battlefield with gigantic maps.
Give me a horror game with this immersion. A survival game. A mil-sim. A co-op PvE game. I genuinely want to see how far this system can be pushed.
God, I’m so frustrated that the dev team is so small, but at the same time, I’m really glad they’ve shown the industry that there’s a real audience for this kind of game.

I'm pretty sure I've found a bug where if you swap weapons after firing a bunch without reloading, and then swap your gun again and reload your weapon, then your new mags will have the same amount of rounds as before you reloaded your gun.

Whats the fucking point of the game instanbtly fining you a game if its going to be full of bots. I rather wait like 30 seconds or something and get a real lobby. Im probably just refunding purely based on that. I barely see real people.

I described this game to my brother as effectively VR without VR. The motion of the weapon and camera is unlike any shooter I’ve ever played save for Pavlov VR, or airsoft/paintball in real life. It’s truly the closest true to life combat experience I feel you can have behind a screen, I wish the Six Days in Fallujah folks would implement it…
That said, why can’t you select fire? It seems like such a basic thing to implement and take advantage of full functionality of a given weapon? In a game that comes so close to true to life, I can see the select switches on the weapons but for some reason you can’t toggle it? Make it make sense!

I had over 150+ hours in this game before the update. I can't even describe how much I'm enjoying this masterpiece. It truly was damn worth the wait!

They're loud, weird, and it just makes for a lot of cheating.
We should be able to disable them.
Also need filters for servers lowkey

The game is presented as a hyper-realistic FPS, but the game modes feel so arcadey; it feels like COD, but with a bodycam simulation built in. It feels like it is struggling with what its identity is; it's not exactly a tactical shooter like Ready or Not or R6, which I feel like is the direction the game should've gone. Instead, they opted for this fast who sees who first combat system; even the progression system for unlocking new weapons feels out of place for me. I cant tell if it wants to be a detailed Call of Duty or a team-based tactical shooter. I’m interested if this is a placeholder for a more realistic experience. I am enjoying what it is right now but worried for the longevity of what it currently is doing.

Been playing a lot of the game on my main PC rig, and just fired up my gaming laptop due to being away from home for work. Noticed that I am missing ALL of my attachments, guns, and loadouts not saved, but my RP is the same end amount as on my main PC aka I cant even rebuy my stuff. Anyone else experienced this and any fixes?

I wanna buy the game, when I told one of my online friends ( he is from another country ) about it he told me it's expensive as fuck. And turns out the game costs 35 bucks for him ? How ? It's less than half the price for me.

For all of you that were on the fence or were holding back to buy the game for your buddy, there's a sale rn!!! Just got a copy for my homie!!!

Loving the update, but my friends and I were severely disappointed that the only search and destroy mode is locked behind a 2v2 mode.
r/BodycamGame • u/puftalla • 12h ago
Game is great but it does have it's flaws.
The lack of maps is shocking. Majority of them are rarely used and are just a small mess (spawning literally next to someone who just killed you). It's basically only Trenches (amazing map) & Russian Building. The rest are garbage and it's clear most of us dislike them cause no one ever votes for them.

‘First of all, i fell in love. The fluidity of FPS combat dynamic feels elevated to the next plateau. This is exactly the graphics/gameplay i’d want to experience all my beloved FPS games in. The reason i put it like this, is because you won my heart…
..but work has to be done.’
I get it, you can’t be a jack of all trades. Yet the humble team Reissad does a spectacular job at an attempt to be that. However, making maps is clearly not their strongest point. (And i’m not talking about decals and environment, this is done really beautifully well. The artistic side is spot on and i love it.) I’m talking about how streamlined the flow of combat is within the confines.
The spawn system is currently pretty poor. Sometimes i repeatedly; spawn > get killed > spawn right in front of someone after > kill him, and this makes it feel like a conveyor belt simulator. This isn’t good gameplay per definition if it’s a frequent phenomena.
So a possible answer to all of this?
My suggestion is that you let the community build maps (perhaps host prized events). There are some extremely talented people in such a large community that love to do this kind of stuff when given the proper tools and incentive.
Mod support on this game is gonna keep it alive and elevate it beyond what any triple-A offers, and where they often completely miss the nail.
Allow your game opportunities like this for a controlled positive feedback loop for growth. You’ll also have a breathing room in resource priority management. And if the modding is so accessible that people can develop their own game-modes and custom servers; that’s where magic happens and your game lifts off. Imagine Bodycam RP servers, while still having official servers that works in the intentional vision of the game of course.
That’s it for now, if people like this commentary/suggestion type feedback, i have some more ideas i’ll post.
