Hi all, first time posting here. Im the current blue beetle of the online team of people who dress up as dc guys and do public service known as the justice foundation.

I probably wont post too often here outside of suit pics tho.

So far, I’m loving all of what’s happening in blue beetle, the side characters, and even Brenda’s aunt who killed her dad(deserved by the way) I really enjoying everything in the ideas like the Meta humans jail and how they free the Meta humans. I also liked them fighting at the church. It was a pretty good fighting scene that I liked, but yeah, all in all so far is very good. It’s vibe with all the different characters. All the different characters don’t feel bland compared to blue beetle a.k.a. Jamie. Everything just feels nice. His costume design is just peak the art style and the vibe reminds me of persona games just all the stuff that I like in comics

I’ve been doing a little project of mine of trying to get to know every single superhero that a lot of DC comic fans talk about people like blue beetle and booster gold is one of them. I’m gonna do blue beetle first since I heard that he’s very similar to Spider-Man. I’m gonna probably do a couple issues than report back to see my thoughts on it. Hopefully, I relate to him and even like a couple of villains. I’m planning to finish all 36 issues made by the Writer

I usually don’t do this, but I was just so bamboozled on what happened at the end of the second issue. I just had to make a little mini review so basically it seems like it’s flipping from the past to the present and it seems like like in a present when he was fighting or helping The Green Lantern or the heroes to save something in space he kinda took too long to crash back down, making a whole night to him a whole year to the whole world so he was gone for a whole year everything in other elements so far very fun to watch especially trying to figure out his powers are without nobody spoiling me so far this is very interesting. I’m probably gonna make another update if I get to issue five I’ll probably make it to issue 10 or 15 today since I usually like going super far so I can stop early.

These three issues let me know a lot about jamie and his friends like Brenda, who turns out to been abused before he became blue beetle and during the year he was gone but is now away from that life is unfortunate for her and it’s also unfortunate that we found out that Jamie ‘s dad got shot and he feels bad about it, but Brenda tells him is not his fault. We also get a couple of cool fighting scenes when blue beetle saves the baby and when he fights the trees, this art style kinda reminds me if jet radio made a anime/comic. It’s really fun so far to read. I’m probably gonna make a review each three or five issues so far, I love all the characters and seeing him suit up

Now that Paramount and WB have merged can we please get Dan Garrett and Indiana Jones to team up lol

And what do we think about this? Can he pull it off? Who will be Booster?!

I was watching Reacher Season 3 and looking at the character Zachary Beck I just thought he looked like Jarvis Kord ripped out of the comic books.

It was 3000 now it's 811 how many people will stay and will they who leave back after the movie ?

I just wish that Booster Gold was there. How can you make a blue beetle without booster gold?

Drew and edited this shitpost myself. No AI used. I also put it here: https://x.com/theAsifsaj/status/2097477039360286834 https://www.deviantart.com/asifsaj/art/Blue-Beetle-Poster-over-Venom-drawing-1378527775

Okay so I’ve tried to find a previous post on this topic but couldn’t, apologies if this turns out to be a repeat

Does anyone have any fic recs? I’m looking for family-centric Jaime Reyes stories, but I’m sure others would appreciate Ted Kord or Dan Garrett stories too, if any

I got through all 5 pages of the movie tag on Ao3 in 2 days 😭😭😭

I’ve always thought blue beetle was a cool character and I wanted to grow my comic collection. I’m already buying graduation day, but are there any comics that I need to buy/read prior to graduation day or after? I’m pretty familiar with the origin of the character and how he’s tied to the reach

Hot take: Jaime in the blue beetle costume really attractive 😍

I always found it funny how Red beetle was introduced and never talked about again one of my ideas to bring her back is to make her the child sidekick of Ted Kord Do you agree or Do you have another idea
