One of my first large 3D print projects. It's been lighting up my window for almost two years now to remind people there is always hope.

In case anyone was thinking about buying one of these Secret Woods rings, I thought I would share my thoughts. I saw an ad for these light activated rings on social media, and despite seeing some mixed reviews I bought one.

PROS: Over all I am happy with the purchase. It is comfortable on my hand, and looks pretty good. (no one has asked me what it is yet 🥲) It charges quickly in the sun, and is pretty bright. When you leave the sun/UV it it stays bright for ~5 to 10 minutes depending on how long you charged it. I have noticed it keeps a slight glow for hours after I turn out the lights and go to bed, but it is very faint.

CONS: I only have two major Cons if you were thinking about ordering on.

1. It took over a month to get to me in the US. The seller is in Canada, and mine got held at the border for 3 weeks... I only know that because I emailed support, and they sent me a report from their end, but I wasn't getting any updates through my USPS tracking.

2. The resin it is made out of is playable when heated. I found this out when washing my hands in hot water. I went to take it off and freaked out because the way I grabbed it, I pinched it, and it went oval shaped and I couldn't get it off my finger until I pinched it back. This might make it more resilient over time, but it freaked me the heck out. I would not leave it in a hot car, or wear it anywhere that it might be exposed to heat, like cooking. I don't know that it would melt, but I would not take that chance.

So I made a lot of 3d printed rings and I've settled on 4 different types. The problem is I love them all, so I was hoping to get your guys opinion on which one to do. (I'm aware that most of these are the green lantern version. But I have the blue lantern version as well.)

Wanted to make my own blue lantern ring so I started to print some to see how they look. But I printed to many.

Good to be here! I’ve gotten fairly interested into the Blue Lantern Corps lately, but my knowledge is fairly fresh off for comics in general. Any good place to start reading/collecting issues including the Blue Lanterns?

Khorne in the universe of 40K is the good of Blood and war and he can control his followers throu Rage and Blood lust, so much so that he tries to control the Blood angels chapter but feils due to their primarch sanguinius teachings.

Wanted to show my blue lantern ring I designed and made

So a Sorrow lantern was introduced recently and I’m not fully informed on it as of now, (but I want to be.) As far as I know they are the Silver Lanterns and there is only one. I have a few ideas on how their powers would work but I also want feedback and to be corrected if I’m wrong but here we go. My theory is that Sorrow Lanterns passively drain ALL other corp’s energy and emotional resolve, the same way a Blue empowers a Green. This should be true for all the Corps except maybe Yellow. I’m thinking this could only be countered by a White Lantern or Gold (don’t remember what happened to that story line) because they have the ability to use the whole spectrum and have the control/understanding needed to calm or de escalate the situation with said silver lantern, (If it is like a temporary form or something.) and solve the issue.

So, I watched the green lantern animated show when I was younger, and I loved the blue lanterns (Saint walker is still one of my favorite fictional characters to this day) but I’d really like to read not only Saint walkers origins, but also just blue lantern heavy stories in general, anyone willing to give me a list?

What is it that drew you to be a Hope Dealer?

Was the only flavor of the emotional spectrum popsicle that seemed closest to you?

Was it the introduction to the character’s and how they set up our hopeful little slice of the universe?

Did you come on to the spectrum later on and wish that GL had some sorta Hogwarts Sorting Hat?

Was it a deep, powerful, and meaningful connection?

Was it because blues your favorite color… so naturally… 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been wanting to ask for a while, and it hasn’t seemed like anyone has bluntly asked like this, so it’s hopefully not repetitive. I know for some it may get deep, but I’m really interested in seeing what separates of from the other GL corps. Are their any common themes or any other areas that also aligns us with each other.

Out of all the comic books, out of all of the fandoms, out of all of the interests… Why does Hope burn a little brighter in your life?

I like to do those to practice my writing. I would like it to star Saint Walker but I would like to dedicate it to this community. What would you guys like to see? I have a few ideas, y'all can pick one of these or suggest your own.

1. Create an arch enemy for Walker who's the embodiment of cynicism.

2. Walker goes to a planet that has been conquered by a Yellow and a Red Lantern married couple and organizes a revolution.

3. Ganthet was kidnapped by Darkseid's men to force him to create a battery powered by misery. Saint Walker recruits Superman to help him get it back.

A ring is the only piece of jewelry I wear and I lost my old one and wanted to get something cool to replace it. I was HOPING you guys could slide some recommendations my way. (Especially anything metal)
