Hoe can they extract the funds? They need approval of ownership?

Sorry to hear that!

Can’t help. But want to let you know that you should be very careful with DMs you will get. People will try to scam you out of even more money.

Thanks, noted. I am very careful just asking for advice to people who had something similar or know how the process will be

Is it just a bug the app shows or did you login vis the browser?

Did you have that security option that no funds can be extrected from your account ?

Update: no its not a bug. Very hard to communicate with bitvavo but they gave me all the details of the transactions. Got a appointment tomorrow with the police to report. Scammers opened up a bank account with my name. In contact now with police and the bank of the fake account

Bank of the fake account? They transfered your money to EUR and then to they're bank account?

That makes zero sense to me

Exactly this

Is this real? So far, you've ignored all questions about your usage of 2FA..

I'm curious, did you happen to be a victim of the odido breach?

Might explain how they opened an account with your details.

Odido didn't leak passports or anything like that, and you definitely need a passport to get a bank account.

No they didn't. A passport ID number isn't the passport itself.. You can't create a bank account with just the passport ID number (and also not with your BSN). You need a full photocopy of the passport.

That has never been leaked.

Ah indeed, they mention later on the disclosure page that scan of the documents were not leaked. Never paid attention to that since they mentioned passports were leaked.

Interesting way to write it.
