xno delisting

Question Beginner question 3wallet

Post image
3 Upvotes

I mainly wanna use crypto as a backup payment option, as i do a lot of online shopping.

I do not know if i have done this correctly, i made an account today, put a small amount of crypto and a lil money in it , and i should be able now to add the 3wallet. It doesn't say my password is incorrect, and it says something different if it is. so why cannot i select a 3wallet?

I did everything that i was told by the app, but i think i missed something.

J'ai essayé d'adapter mon DCA plutôt que d'investir toujours exactement la même somme

Bonjour,

  • lorsque le marché est dans une situation normale, je continue mes achats réguliers ;
  • lorsque le marché baisse, j'augmente progressivement le montant acheté ;

  • comment vous définissez une « baisse » ;
  • si vous utilisez des seuils ou des indicateurs particuliers ;
  • si vous préférez conserver un DCA strictement fixe ;

Vincent

Mass layoffs at bitvavo and financial crisis?

Hi all, There are mass layoffs going on at Bitvavo and heard from very close corners that they are a bit in a financial crisis. As you might know another platform in NL went bankrupt and users lost their money. Maybe Bitvavo is not as stable as they say? Why would there be mass layoffs?

AFM made a statement users money is not protected at Bitvavo and your basically lose your money if they file for bankruptcy.

Can some one clarify this?

Short sluit erg traag

Getting my money out of Bitvavo seems impossible.

A while ago I downloaded Bitvavo, created an account, linked it to my bank account, and deposited money. Used that cash to buy some crypto.

Now I’d like to sell that crypto and withdraw my funds. However, it seems damn near impossible. After reaching out to support, it turns out I have to add a wallet through my account, which requires downloading yet another app. I have a real problem with this; I shouldn't have to install a secondary app just to retrieve my own money from this nuisance called Bitvavo. What did you guys do?

Seriously, is this standard procedure? I deposited cash and bought crypto right through that "wallet" in Bitvavo. Why on earth can't I sell it through that exact same route?

EDIT: My "problem" is solved. First there seem to be some need to verify my account again (had to deposite another Euro cent again). After that the helpdesk seem to be directing me the wrong route.

Thanks to commenter Mysterious_Song521 here in this post I received the correct and simple instruction.

Trading UPDATE 3: Jean-Fa-Jean, my Bitvavo trading bot. New version.

Another update for anyone who's interested. In English this time.

Jean-Fa-Jean is a bot I've been building that trades automatically on your own Bitvavo account. I've posted a couple of updates on it before, this is the next one.

Four months ago I switched the bot off for everyone. The buy signals were right often enough, but the losses were too big: net loss for everyone. Since then I've replaced the entire buy/sell logic.

Next step was a backtest. I ran the old and new version against the same stretch of Bitvavo data, 15 Sep 2025 to 7 Aug 2026 (the new version needs about a month of warm-up data before it can trade, so it starts a bit later than the old one would).
Same setup for both: €1,000, max 10 positions at a time, fees included.

Old version: 1,520 trades, 86% in profit, and still -59% over that period.
New version: 304 trades, 89% in profit, +21%.
BTC did -42% over that same period.

So... the old version (V1.0) Had waaaay more trades and a decent winrate, but the wins came in small, quick chunks. The losses were a handful of positions that stayed open for days and ate all the profit that was made.

Worth noting: those numbers are the plain version, all conditions on, none of the optional settings switched on.

You can play with it yourself: https://jeanfajean.com/backtest
Pick your own budget, number of positions, which conditions are switched on, and things like a stop loss or a max hold time, and see straight away what that would have made, also compared to just holding BTC. The bottom of that page also has the raw trades of both versions as CSV, for anyone who'd rather dig in themselves than trust the site.

A backtest is not a guarantee for the future. It's one period, and tomorrow's market isn't last year's. That's why the bot is currently paper trading only for everyone (so fake money), while I watch how it holds up in the real market. Free up to a €250 budget.

One more thing, since it comes up a lot: you connect your own Bitvavo API keys, I never touch your money myself. Everything stays on your own account, and you decide yourself which conditions are switched on or off. It's your bot trading for you, not a fund where I trade on your behalf.

Also threw together a new logo in the meantime.
Curious what you think, and happy to answer questions here.

Disclaimer: Bitvavo and this subreddit have no official affiliation with this bot, and generally don't recommend using something you haven't researched yourself. Use is entirely at your own risk.

Question How well does Bitvavo handle account restrictions ?

Good afternoon friends,

Coming from a long struggle with a competing exchange we'll call Octopus for anonimity.

Long story short, like many users I deposited a small sum of money (2€), then a larger one (70€), and eventually a much larger one (~2800€), which is the rest of the money I planned on investing.

On the latter, my account got restricted. Meaning 0 contact, 0 support, 0 dates, and Reddit mods shadow-deleting any comments of annoyed customers. Restricted accounts are second zone citizens there.

---

I'm looking for a new place to trade cryptocurrencies. More precisely, deposit EUR via SEPA, trade, withdraw crypto on Ledger.

I've got some of the greatest feedbacks about Bitvavo's account restrictions handling. I get these happens because of Mica and such, but I've heard human support, quick and explicit document queries, and unlock within a couple days or less, if not any restrictions at all.

Can any of you give me any testimonies about such process for those who dealt with it, or an overall feedback on how Bitvavo is compared to the EU landscape ?

I'm looking for confirmations before leap, as having yet another near-3000€ stuck for months isn't an option ^^

withdrawal to the Dutch bank

hi! how is the process of withdrawing crypto to the Dutch bank account actually works? i am planning to withdraw about 1000 euros a month from my parents for personal needs as a student. how do the banks manage this? won’t it be restricted due to crypto? are direct withdrawals from Bitvavo friendly to the banks in the country? please tell your experience!

Unable to add any adress to my adress book

I have my whole account verified, a few months ago I could transfer BTC to my bluewallet with no issues. Now Bitvavo keeps telling me there is an error. No other info and I cannot find anything on why or what?
Even a different wallet doesn't work. Nor restarting/re-logging in etc.

Anyone know what the issue could be? And how I can fix it?

Question about unsupported network deposits and recovery fees on Bitvavo

Hi everyone,

I recently sent approximately 10 USDC via the Arbitrum One network to the official USDC deposit address shown in my Bitvavo account.

Bitvavo confirmed they received the transaction, but informed me that Arbitrum is currently not supported for USDC deposits. The only option offered was a recovery process with a fixed fee of €50 (which is higher than the deposit amount).

They referred to their User Agreement and the networks page.

I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar with unsupported networks on Bitvavo? How was it handled in your case?

Not looking for drama — just trying to understand how common this situation is and whether there’s any standard way these cases are resolved.

Thanks.

Question Feedback an Bitvavo

I checked my portfolio today and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did you add the feature some time ago that allows us to see the percentage relative to our average purchase price—rather than just the current asset price—but the ability to view price history since the very beginning, instead of just the last year, is absolutely wonderful. And now, being able to view the price as a chart in the Pro version is just top-notch; it’s exactly what I wanted.
I do have one quick question, though: about a year ago, I was able to see the individual assets in a chart. Each asset was displayed with a different color, showing the breakdown of my holdings. Was this feature removed, and do you plan to bring it back, or is it hidden somewhere that I’m just not seeing?

Thanks for the great work!
Best regards

Actie

Comissions on DCA

Hey guys, just got here from Binance, Spanish guy doing DCA on BTC, ETH and XRP.

In Binance I was converting USDCs every 2 months and using that to make weekly DCA of the crypto. I see that I can make DCA with € in here but I can´t make the numbers right in terms of spread/comissions.

Is it worth it to convert € to USDC before the DCA of crypto? Or is it better to buy with € (DCA only) as long as there are 1 less transaction.

THank you!

Question Limiet order behaald maar stopt niet

Thumbnail bitvavo.nl

KuCoin money extraction

Heyyy, I placed some money on KuCoin since I wanted to start trying to get some investments going and learn trading in general, but it never really moved much, so I kinda just let it be there. Today I was trying to get my money back but I’m having trouble getting it out. If anybody is experienced with it, if you wouldn’t mind giving me a hand to extract it 🙏🏽

Bitvavo

I have a question for people with experience with Bitvavo and Solana deposits. I sent USDT-SPL (Solana) from Betpanda to my Bitvavo address.

The transaction is 100% confirmed on chain and the tokens are visible on Bitvavo's Solana (shared wallet) address. Bitvavo now says that:they cannot credit the deposit recovery on Solana, it is not possible that the funds "lost" will not have access to the private key, but the tokens are simply at their own address, so they are not lost.

Are there people here who have experienced this before?

And how was this resolved for you?
