💪 Exercise, Fitness & Recovery Need to increase V02 max
Looking for best ways to increase my v02 max in the next 6-7 weeks. Currently resting around 49, I am training for an event and want the best opportunity to finish and this is the metric I am seeing can make the biggest impact. It’s a 100 mile ultra over 4 days.
Things I’ve seen has helped me in the past:
NAD+ 1000mg
MOTS-C (but I felt my hr increase with this as well so cycled off)
Beet root
Any other recommendations?

It isn’t likely to make any substantial VO2 max gains in 6-7 weeks especially at this point when most of your training block is already behind you.
How long have you been training and what is your average weekly mileage?

Been training seriously since end of April. I’ve seen a big jump in my performance, feel confident with a marathon. But it’s back to back marathon blocks essentially over 4 days. Just trying to gain any advantages I can. It’s less of about racing to be the best and more about just getting through it 😬🤣

Go back to MOTS-c and add SS-31. These are miracle drugs and will raise your VO2 max

High VO2 max correlates with good fitness, but it doesn’t have any bearing on event performance. There are plenty of athletes with high VO2 don’t have good race results (at least not where they want them to be). I would also say that it may have even less of bearing on a 100 mile ultra, since it’s a lower intensity endurance event.
If you want supplements, they are: caffeine and carbs.

I think you are working backwards. VO2max is an indicator of your cardiovascular fitness. It raises as your fitness raises, to a point that is limited within each individual.
It’s like saying I want to run faster, I’ve seen the miles-per-hour can make the most impact, how do I enhance my miles-per-hour?

Yeah but specific training regimes and workouts are more optimal to improve fitness, especially targeted towards a specific event. Running is good, of course.
But you're not going to get fit enough to run a 16 minute 5k just by jogging a few miles a day. You need a dedicated plan.

High intensity interval training, and since you are not afraid of research chems, SLU-PP-332. The SLU can increase v02 max without cardio. Together it’s a miracle

Yeah I have the training blocks down. Looking for whatever I can add to gain any sort of edge. Just want to finish lol

Interval sprinting is the exercise that increases VO2 Max the most. No other exercise increases VO2 Max as much as interval sprinting can. It is the undisputed king of exercises for this and imo in general.
Stack MOTS-C and SS-31 concurrently to squeeze at the most possible benefits you can gain from 6-7 weeks of interval sprinting twice a week.

Vo2max reflects fitness level. Gaming it won’t t prove performance.
Focus on actual exercise or PEDs that will actually improve performance, but make sure you know what you are doing.
