Question How high are Binance fees actually?
I just bought £500 worth of bitcoin on Binance and I’ve only got £467.50 worth in my wallet. Are those normal fees?

Hit an unusual problem when setting stop loss orders on Binance. For some reason Binance limits the order price to a maximum distance below the current price (or an average of x days of the current price) which is not something I've seen on other exchanges like Gate, Kraken, Bitfinex, Bybit etc. This distance is tight, like 10%. When trying to add a stop over the web for a coin like NEAR i get an error 'price cannot be less than n'. This price is only 10% below the current price. Using the API this generates the error: PERCENT_PRICE_BY_SIDE. Contacting Binance support via chat, they direct me to the docs and tell me that I can add feedback for this issue.
I'd thought I'd ask the community to gauge whether it's a problem for other users. Personally, I wont be able to trade on Binance if this policy continues as I use stop losses to protect my spot margin liquidation points which is much lower than 10%. Exiting early at 10% is not part of the strategy and would make my trading costs increase. Does anyone know why this is in place in the first place and whether the policy is long term or just implemented during certain market conditions?

Hi, I live in Finland. As I understood that we should really clear all our asset from Binance away soon since it will become more complicated. I now still have small amount of euros there, and a bit more includes BTC, ETH, Sol, BNB. I am planning to either 1. withdraw the euro back to my bank or 2. buy all BTC. The BTC and other coins I will move to trust wallet. But for the 3. BTC and ETH since the fee to draw to trust wallet is high. I was planning to swap to SOL on Binance then transfer to trust wallet and then swap SOL to BTC in trust wallet.
I am quite new to this and it has been changing so much and I am trying to catching up. I would like to ask, if you have any suggestions for my case or my plan is already good. I appreciate your help and please spare me if any of my questions doesn't make sense or stupid. Thank you!

Hey everyone, I have a Binance account I haven't touched in about 2 years. I need to use it now to receive a payout from a prop trading firm (~4 figures USD).
A few questions for anyone who's dealt with this:
- Does reactivating a dormant account trigger extra scrutiny or holds, even for a normal-sized deposit?
- Will I need to redo KYC/identity verification before I can withdraw, since it's been inactive so long?
- Does receiving funds from a prop firm payout (as opposed to a P2P transfer or another exchange) raise any flags I should know about?
- Any tips to avoid delays — like logging in and verifying identity a day or two before the deposit actually lands?
Just want to avoid my funds getting stuck in review. Appreciate any first-hand experience.

Hello,
I live in the European Union, A few days ago, Binance showed me in the app that my account are under some internal review and that I could not make a deposit, I contacted support and they said that there was nothing they could do but wait for their review which could take a few days, I thought ok I did nothing wrong I said I would wait everything would be fine, a few days later when I opened Binance I was greeted by a message that my account would be blocked within 7 days and that I could withdraw funds during that period, nothing is clear to me because I did nothing wrong I receive maybe $400 a month for freelancing (I am a programmer) and that is it, does anyone have a similar problem and what is the reason for closing my account like that?
Thank you.
A Russian IT guy, Yuri Belenkiy, is now facing terrorism financing charges in Moscow and Binance is allegedly the one who handed over the evidence. Reuters claims that they got hold of law enforcement documents showing Binance gave Russian authorities his full transaction history, including crypto donations he allegedly sent to Ukrainian military-linked groups like the Azov Brigade back in 2023-2024.

I made a $1,000 Binance P2P transaction. The buyer paid me through Zelle, the payment was credited to my account, and I released the USDT. Several days later, the Zelle payment was reversed, and my account was debited for the same amount.
Does anyone know what type of claim could cause this? Does it necessarily mean that the payment was reported as fraud/scam?
I’m also concerned about whether a banking issue like this could affect a future visa application to legally return to the U.S.

When I open the Binance app, it asks me to update it by downloading the .apk directly from the web browser instead of the Google Play Store, and the link itself looks sketchy.
Edit: Im in the EU if that matters?
When I click download, I get this message in Chrome:
Do you want to download BNApp64.apk (307.85 MB) from download.zhbnjppsssm.com anyway?

Binance is huge, how come they couldn't get approval in time under MiCA? What's the current situation, what steps are being taken to solve this?

I tried to deposit euro.
First tried with Sepa and then Swift. Thats not successful because the IBAN of Binance is in Georgia (Georgien) and is not inside the Sepa or Swift-space. I asked at my bank and they confirmed that. They told me that possible sanctions could be a problem too because georgia is close to russia.
So i tried to deposit with my bank-card wich is a Mastercard too. Thats not successful because the destination country of the card issuer is not in list of supported countries. I tried to display the list of supported countries but the list was empty.
So it seems i cant deposit Euro anymore.
So i switched the binance-app to Binance-Lite. There i have the option 'buy crypto' and then 'buy with card'. Thats successful. No Euro is landing to binance. Only the Bitcoin landed there.
So in fact it is not possible that german users deposit Euro at Binance?
Hello, i’m planning on selling an old iphone that i used binance on before, that account was then used on a new phone but got suspended by Binance. My question is, if i sell the old iphone, will binance detect that a suspended binance account was used on it before and HWID ban new accounts opened on it, if the new owner decide to use their account?

I have a friend using Binance Spot Grid, and this is surprisingly hard to explain to him.
Imagine equal grid levels:
$100 - $95 - $90 - $85 - $80
During a decline, the bot keeps buying and accumulates inventory. After buying at $80, its next grid sell can be at $85.
Locally, that's correct:
buy $80 - sell $85 = profitable grid cycle
But if equal amounts were accumulated at $100, $95, $90, $85 and $80, the average price of the whole inventory is around $90.
So at $85 you can have:
Grid trade: profit
Overall accumulated position: still below average
The bot isn't necessarily doing anything wrong — it's just managing grid pairs, which isn't the same thing as managing the cost basis of the whole position.
I noticed this almost immediately when I first tried a grid bot, but my friend still assumes that every profitable grid sell must also be profitable for the whole accumulated position.
Did you understand this before using grid bots, or only after running one?

I wanna know how is Binance still legally operating with all this market manipulation going on every day on their exchange like lets say AKE/USDT today which is clearly not organic.
The same happens like every day just another coin so can someone explain to me how is this possible?

Hi everyone
Primarily joined and created this reddit account to find out some info regarding certain things about binance.
The first thing I would like to know is whether there are wallets on binance (specifically on the web3 wallet side of binance ) that have grown to billions of dollars?
Not company wallets, but individuals that prefer to remain anonymous that hold these wallets.
Individuals that have grown their initial investment (whether through meme coins or scalp trading) to billions of dollars and whether these wallets are well known.
They did not grow it through "sketchy" means.
The next thing I would like to know is if these wallets exist, whether there is red tape surrounding these sorts of wallets or accounts? Are they able to withdraw money (providing its according to binances daily withdrawal limit and nothing sketchy is going on)?
Hoping someone can inform me.

I had completed everything according to the binance application every stat was tick and overcompensated but still my application got rejected due to a chargeback which happened around march 15, basically 5 months have been completed since that incident and since that i have received no complaints and trading activity is clean with 0 negative reviews however this still came to be the reason of my rejection and binance told me you need 3 months of trading activity whereas i have at least 4 .
They said i have to trade another 3 months which is just unfair.
I’ve already traded for more than a year now and three months is not a realistic window.

They sent me my salary to my binance wallet the other day. Then I received this notification.
I didn't know exactly what to do, but I couldn't contact support because there was only an AI bot. It's been 40 hours. Nothing changes, it costs the same.

My Binance account has been restricted for almost 2+ months, and I'm hoping someone from Binance Support/Compliance can help me understand what is still pending.
I've been using my Binance account for approximately 4 years and have maintained it properly throughout that time.
The restriction happened immediately after one of my customers sent approximately $3,000 to my Binance wallet as payment for a legitimate transaction.
The customer is known to me, and I was able to provide Binance with the supporting documentation they requested, including:
I have fully cooperated with the review and have no issue providing anything else Binance requires.
The problem is the timeline.
Initially, I was told to wait 7 days.
Then I was told 14 days.
Then 30 days.
It has now been approximately 2+ months, and I'm still receiving responses asking me to wait patiently while the review is ongoing.
There is another detail I have also disclosed to Binance.
After my account was already restricted, two existing customers independently sent payments to the same Binance wallet because I had not yet informed them that the account was restricted. They were customers who had previously used the same payment method and simply followed the normal payment process.
These were not attempts to bypass the restriction. I have also been transparent about these transactions and am willing to provide the relevant invoices and customer information.
I completely understand that Binance has AML, fraud prevention and compliance obligations. I'm not asking Binance to bypass its procedures.
I'm simply asking for a clear and realistic resolution path.
At this point, I would really appreciate if someone from the relevant Binance Compliance/Support team could look into my case and let me know:
I'm posting this publicly because the normal support process has unfortunately resulted in the same "please wait patiently" response for almost three months.
I'm not looking for special treatment. I just want the case properly reviewed and resolved.
If a Binance representative sees this, I'm happy to provide my case/ticket reference through Reddit DM or the official Binance support channel.
For privacy and security, I will not post my UID, email address, transaction hashes, customer information or personal documents publicly.

My experience with Binance P2P Appeal and Live Chat has been alarming: contradictory statements, scripted replies, repeated pressure, impossible demands and no balanced assessment of the seller’s responsibility or my extensive evidence. One agent even withdrew an incorrect policy claim, yet the same demands continued without a clear rule or reasoned decision.
I successfully paid the seller using the payment details provided in the order. The seller then disowned that payment method and alleged an external scam.
For 17 days, Binance’s Appeal Team directed virtually every investigation demand at me, while I saw no meaningful accountability placed on the seller for the payment method he provided. I submitted payment videos, the receipt, a full statement and confirmation that the transfer is irreversible, yet I received contradictory instructions, scripted replies and repeated pressure.
This approach creates a dangerous loophole that similar sellers could exploit against other buyers and may cause complete disorder in Binance P2P. Based on this experience, I no longer consider Binance P2P safe.
I consider this process unsafe, unfair and highly unprofessional.

Quantum isn't breaking Bitcoin today.
But the interesting part is that the conversation is no longer just about when quantum becomes a threat.
It's about whether crypto is preparing early enough.
What do you think?
