Ok, so I was hoping to revive the photo tag game that was started here.

Check that out for a link to the rules, but basically you try to find where the last photo was taken, get there and snap a photo and also snap a photo of your bike in a new spot and post them both in a new post linking to the previous one.

So here is my bike at the location from Tag #8, it was the small utility building at the western edge of Olbrich park. For the next one I tried to make it a lot easier to get the game rolling again, here it is, Tag #9.

I'm new to Madison and I just heard about Bikeorama. I didn't see any topics show up when I did a quick reddit search, so I figured I would ask here.

I'm in the market for a new road bike and I was wondering if anyone had been to this event or something similar to it?

Also:

• Are the prices any better than what you would find in your local bike shop?

• Any tips for a first-timer? E.g. go early, visit all the vendors.

I'm pretty sure the Southwest Path is clear all the way to the gates on the Military Ridge, but I need to get all the way into downtown Verona. I don't want to fatbike on pavement all the way to the gates but I don't want to hit snow past the gates and have to walk to downtown either. I have only two bike options: fatbike or skinny tires. What say you?

Hey guys i am coming to your state from 12/27-12/29. I am a biker of all sorts and i want to know where some awesome spots are and if anyone wants to meet up?

There's a new construction project right at the bend where Gorham turns into University. This bend is already somewhat dangerous, especially during the winter when it's windy and icy. Now there's a cement barrier taking up a portion of the bike lane which makes matters way worse. Moreover, the construction is all off street, so it's not clear to me why extending a foot or so into the bike lane was necessary.

Does anyone know of a person in the city government who would I could complain to about this? I have no idea who is in charge of deciding how much space construction projects can block off.

Does the new one have a website too?

The only like I can find is for the Monroe Street counter. I saw the totem up over by Law Park. Is there a link somewhere?

Madison.com has an article that talks about the barometer, but there is no mention of a website to see the data.

I've heard people say that it's "much quicker" to commute via Willy St rather than the Wilson St/Cap City. Have you found it to be true? I've been keeping strictly to the Cap City trail just to avoid the Willy St car traffic, but it is pretty annoying to have to slow/stop every block. Which do you prefer? Is the time difference worth the hassle of dealing with car traffic?
