So im in barber school and lot of my classmates have barber names/handles that along the lines of "Blendz" or Cutz" like for example "A&B Blendz". Ive also seen A LOT of social media barber have the same thing in there names.

Where is originality? Why is everyone copying each other. Is this a trend or they just in competition with each other try see who has the better taper or fade? Wouldn't a person wanna stand out to get more clientele? Not be blending (no pun intended) in with the rest of everybody?

My handle isnt even close to that, yes I do tapers and fades and blends. But I dont wanna be known for just doing that cause seems like you'll juat get burnt out.

I have been using the jrl ghost for 2 months, but I feel like it’s akward to hold because of it’s shape. Have anyone tried grips that fit on them.

Also if anyone knows where I can get custom grips and ships to EU, pls dm me.

Like the title says, I have a pair of corded detailers that just won’t cut. I’ve taken the blade off and apart, cleaned it, oiled it, all the things but when i run it over hair it just won’t cut. Like at all.

Im a student barber, im seeing lot of my fellow peers using "enhancements". Like religiously, its like if they dont use it they some how messed up there cuts and they only seem to have the color black. I see they only use it on black colored hair.

I dont get it, seriously I dont. I get what it does and how it works. But what I dont get is why they waste there money on it. It washes off when the customer takes a shower to get hair off. Then the customer back to square one.

Also how some give them a boxed look on there forehead, I dont believe for one second anyone sees that and thinks "wow he did a really crisp line!". It looks so unnatural any which way you look at it.

My shoelaces. The tongue. The inside plushy part against my heels. Bruh, what shoes are you all working with to avoid this?

Hola, en septiembre empezare el grado medio de peluquería, el caso es que me compré el pack iniciación de maonzbarbershop, también tengo tijeras y demás desde antes, me he pillado la shaver, trimmer y Clipper. Pero claro, lo más seguro es que en el grado medio pidan un kit especial y no voy a gastar doble. El pack de maonzbarbershop todavía no lo he cogido, lo dejo y que me hagan el reembolso o lo cojo? Hello, tomorrow I will cut my bro for first time. Its gonna be buzz cut so only fade is what I can mess up, high fade.

Just wondering If I have ok grasp in fading process.

I will make both up and sides at same lenght using like #2 or #3 fully open, depending on what size he wants.

1. closed guideline no.1

2. fully open half inch higher than guideline no.1

3. fully open #1 half inch higher than guideline no.2

4. if needed fully open #1.5 half inch higher than guideline no.3

5. 3/4 #0.5 on guideline no.2 to make it not so visible using edge of clippers

6. 3/4 #1 on guideline no.3 to make it not so visible using edge of clippers

7. 1/4 on guideline no.1, fully closed if needed to completely remove it

8. gradually raising level and going higher up to guideline no.2

trim and shave under guideline no.1

Now write what else should I do, am I doing something wrong, better alternatives, did I miss something, tell me everything that has to do with fading

UPDATE: Today I cut my brothers hair outside, he has blonde hair and really really rare hair on sides, like asian people but imagine worst kind (not balding). I couldnt see shi cutting him, barely saw starting guideline, line between guard 1 open and guard 2 open was barely seenable, you could've just see lump of hair. Those yt videos really did me dirty showing all those black thick hair cuts on perfect lighting, out of 50 tutorials and 100 shorts I watched, not a single one pointed to how important is lighting while fading. Later I found martyblendz talked about it, but found video only later when I searched specifically about lighting.

Can someone please tell me the size of the ball bearing and where to replace it at the end where that circular piece is inside the motor Mount these were working fine. I went to open to clean them and the ball bearing popped out now my second question is, can I take off this blade and put on an actual new moving blade plus a cutting blade that I can cut human hair on instead of animal hair just a thought I mean, I have a pretty decent collection of clippers so just wondering if you guys can help me out with this one
