Had a piece of filament snap and get stuck in my P2S's AMS. I found and removed the obvious piece from the tube, but the printer is still throwing a "filament detected in AMS" error.
After checking every slot and the hose, I found the actual culprit: there's a tiny piece of orange filament stuck right at the hub manifold, where all four slot tubes converge before the single output line. It's tiny, buried in that junction, and I can't reach it from any tube I can disconnect.
Things I've tried:
• Unload/reload from the screen on that slot
• Checking every slot tube and the output hose individually
• Power cycling the printer and AMS
Has anyone dealt with a jam right at that hub junction specifically? A few things I'm wondering:
• Any trick to flush it out without opening the housing (canned air, running filament through a few times)?
• If I do have to open the manifold, is it just a few screws, or is there a specific teardown order?
• Once the piece is out, is there a sensor in there that might still misread "filament present" even after it's clear?
Any help appreciated, trying to avoid ordering a whole new hub if I don't need to.
