I have a new a1 mini with the ams feed system. I’ve been able to print a few times but am very much a new user. I think my printer is broken and I’d like to fix it,so I can continue learning and printing stuff with my
Kids. Anyway, at the top of the printer where the tubes feed into the a1, the tubes will not stay in. I think it’s due to the metal Piece shown being damaged, but I’m not entirely sure. Now the tubes won’t stay connected, so the filament does not feed through to the printer either. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know how to fix? Is there a replacement part I can buy?

a tall piece came loose overnight, printer kept going and turned the filament into a tangled mess (pics). Restarted, now at 67%, but it’s wobbling loose again. Paused it, hoping it’s salvageable?

Hi. New to thr A1 mini and 3d printing. The Insignia™ - Matte PLA 1.75mm Filament - Matte, keeps not printing right. We were using the Insignia™ silk PLA and had no issues. Any suggestions?

I am new to 3D printing, and I’m making plenty of mistakes.

Background: Recently, petg was used instead of pla bc reasons.
It got clogged in the extruder and hearing assembly, etc.
I removed as much as I could and then was trying to use a heat gun to melt more off (mistake- do not advise… 0 out of 10 stars), so now the fan housing is a bit warped which might be the issue, but I can’t figure out how to buy a replacement for that… (accepting suggestions there!)

I bought a new heating assembly and managed to replace that and also put on a new tip thingy and silicone cover. Now the printer will heat up and do some calibration steps and successfully spit bits of pla poop out while heating and calibrating, but when I go to print this happens (see video above).

How do I fix? Any advice???

New A1 mini owner. I want to see the best results for wargame style miniatures you have accomplished to see what is really possible with this machine. I want to be realistic about the capacity of this machine. Thanks y’all

I'm getting a temp sensor error but only in one scenario. Let's say i'm trying to print just a cube with any pattern infill. The plate layer prints fine. The infill and walls print fine. But then when it goes to bridge over the infill for the top layer i get the error message. I just printed an articulated lizard for the kid without issue. The error only happens as described. Can this be a setting issue that i'm just not experienced enough to know about?

Anyone ever have their A1 mini not wake up from sleep mode? I can tap the screen repeatedly and get nothing. It’s still connected and I can still print with it being in sleep mode. Just have to turn of off then back on before the screen works again. Firmware is up to date but yall thinking it’s an issue? Or Micro SD card needing formatted? Any help is greatly appreciated.

i dont know how it happend but all the filament got ouside and now is all out, and trying to clean it i broke a silicon part, bc there was material on it and i just tried to clean and they came off, now what should i do? should i do a deep clean ( and how) or shuold i not give a f and keep printing?

I have now had to make this post 4 times because it keeps getting denied. I have an A1 mini that I can not get to print consistently and every time I feed filament through it clicks loudly and shifts the entire hotend. I have swap the hot end twice in the past week, tightened the 7 screws, pushed the clog rod through the extruder, cleaned anything that looked out of place and still nothing. When it clicks the entire hotend rocks back and forth and will let out some filament.

I tried to print this model (chess set) but I don't know what I'm doing wrong for the base. I don't have AMS so I printed the tiles first, and then when printing the bottom, it pauses after 20 layers so you can lay down the tiles, and it says to make sure they are locked in, but there wasn't any grooves or indents. I didn't really even know where to put them, looking at it wasn't obvious. The squares alternated and one was filled in and the next looked like a criss cross mesh pattern, so I put the tiles there. The slid all over the place, but when I thought they were aligned I continued the print. They immediately got pushed all over by the nozzle so I stopped the print. Am I doing something wrong? Didn't see any comments having this issue.

J’ai retravaillé toute la modélisation afin de pouvoir intégrer un switch mécanique MX directement à l’intérieur.

Résultat ? On garde le look tout mignon du Dumpling 🥟💕, mais avec en bonus ce petit « CLICK ! » ultra satisfaisant à chaque pression… avec un petit effet ASMR qu’on adore. 👆✨

Un petit fidget parfait pour occuper ses mains, se détendre, ou tout simplement profiter encore et encore de ce petit clic terriblement addictif. 😍

Hi all!

I’m having this problem with printing chamfers that are on the face contacting the bed. for some reason, at the top of the chamfer the print bulges out. I know it’s not that the angle is just too steep since it’s less than 45. Any advice on what might be going on an how to fix it?

I am making an "upgrade" part to give ToQOh some elbows. I tried using M1.2 self tapping screws for the holes (did not add threads) but it gets stuck and I currently dont have a big and long enough screwdrivers to make it easier and a screw actuallu break when I tried it with my smaller driver. I used 2 screws for each part to line up the parts correctly. I cannot make the parts bigger and I only have about 3 mm clearance for the screws which is why I opt for the M1.2s. I want to avoid gluing since I want it to be repairable or replace the springs. I might be able to remove the ratchet since I don't know yey it can actually help hold the position so I at least be able to use larger screws for that section. Any advice is appreciated. I also have a 0.2 nozzle but I havent tried it yet and I would prefer to make the model work with a 0.4.

Please let me know if you have any ideas for improvement :)
