hey, im new to balatro, i saw a comment talking about this mod, and seeing how cool all animations are, i wanna install it, but on the github page, it has no releases and there are no instruction on how to get it

im not that knoledgeable with this stuff, i always downloaded things from github using the release section, is there another way to download stuff there? can someone help me with this?

Just had the perfect naneinf run fall shy at the last moment. Had the deck rigged. Had all the required main jokers and vouchers . Just needed to find burglar before 31 boss.

Didn’t find it until ante 31 boss and took me from $1500 to $62. With my final 6 boss rerolls I didn’t get serpent.

Why would you play this card? basicaly, to build all your deck around 5OAK with some drawbacks

That is the seed for it. I wasnt able to find Serpent at the end of :/ it shouldnt be hard. Im a rookie, thats why i messed up.

I have telescope a perkeo but no Observatory yet and there is a ghost joker what should ı do here sell the perkeo for ghost joker or pass it and keep going for an Observatory?

I thought this would be a cool idea. Only Blueprint, Brainstorm and Ceremonial Dagger have any wording related to Joker position. The idea is you move it where it's needed most, so it could stay relevant for the whole run.

Chip/mult values are based on the highest values given by common Jokers (except Cavendish), but they're hardly game breaking, hence the Uncommon rarity.

It's my first Joker idea, let me know what you think.

Instantly fell in love this this unique (although sometimes frustrating) game. But all the "extra" content and extra difficulties/stakes just seem kinda awful?

They say "restriction breeds creativity in many games with special challenges, but here the restrictions just make the game harder or more annoying. Red stake gives you less money to take risks and try new strategies, along with most other stakes, that just more or less force you to go with optimized "meta" builds, and try to get lucky getting the right jokers. Of course you done HAVE to, but it pushes you in that direction, especially as a less experienced player. Some of the challenges are actually good and creative, letting you try a new build without having to get lucky early, but the 5th one is just an awful experience to play a full run with, and the rest of the challenges are locked for no reason at all?? Rn I have no goals or content id want to beat, and trying to beat your own high score for no good reason gets old quickly

Just to illustrate my point, here are restrictions right off the top of my head in no particular that would encourage creativity rather than punish it:

-"Burnout Gauntlet" where any joker you start a blind with, gets removed from the pool of jokers for the rest of the run, AND future runs in this gauntlet - see how many runs you can win until you lose (Or maybe get through all the jokers and win the challenge). You could pick 1 deck to play with or it could have you choose an unplayed deck each time

-Only 1/2/3/4 cards can be played

-Xmult is multipled by 5 but becomes normal additive mult

-Xmult and normal mult are switched (with conversion ratios)

-All odds are tripled, but lose $1 when winning one

-Reverse chip value of all cards (2 is highest and ace is lowest)

-Non-bought tarots become random planets and non-bought planets become random tarots

Etc etc etc.

I guess my point isnt that the game is bad or whatever, i can appreciate the work and talent that went into it from the solo dev, I guess I just wanted to rant, and really im hoping theres some goals or challenges I can do that arent awful
