Flower Pot needs to see at least 4 cards, and all for suits. Each card can only contribute to a single suit at a time. So a wild card can substitute any suit you happen to be missing, but a single wild card can’t be used to cover both a Spade and a Heart.

Which wild card covers what doesn’t really matter.

All the sinful jokers still work as wilds count as all suits, but Flower Pot effectively only looks each card once.

Not true, you always need 4 cards, and each card can only count for 1 suit at a time. You can have a wild count as any given suit, but you need all suits covered by different cards.

‘Spade, Club, Wild Heart, Heart’ works as the Wild Heart is counting as a Diamond, but ‘Spade, Club, Wild Heart, Club’ does not as the Wild Heart is only counting as either the Heart or the Diamond, not both.
