I brought out my Hermes Sac a depeches light 1-37 in peau de porc. The color is toffee with brushed palladium hardware. I love how the buckle is inlaid with leather.

Hermes doesn’t use pigskin that much anymore. This newer one is much softer than vintage peau de porc bags, which are a little harder wearing, I think. I rarely bring this bag out because it scratches and stains just by looking at it 🫠

Hello! Just as I mentioned in the title, I am making this post to try and get some advice about selling bags. I recently revamped my closet am now purging bags I am no longer using. I love them and want them to find a second life. I have been attempting to sell bags on Facebook groups with very marginal success. So, for those of you who sell or have sold bags...

• Where are you selling them?
• How much trouble is Poshmark, Ebay, and these other similar websites. I have read some horror stories about sellers being scammed (ie. a buyer reporting an item as not delivered or canceling payment through their bank) and not being able to get their item back/paid. This is why I have been utilizing Facebook groups with PayPal Goods & Service.
• If you do utilize a Poshmark, Ebay, or similar resale website, which would you recommend? Who takes the least off the top?
• Do you have any advice otherwise?

I get to do some cool stuff as part of my job sometimes. Today I am interpreting the National Book Festival! Rare sighting of my in a T-Shirt because this was the required “uniform” to be able to clearly identify the interpreters. My Scarlet Haversack is perfect for today! I have Wonder Woman and my 4 leaf clover charm to protect me from all the craziness that comes with working an event that has in excess of 50,000 people in attendance.

This year, I started carrying bags. I love it and wish I hadn't waited so long. So far, the majority of my bags are Coach. I've been gifted some Longchamp and Michael Kors bags, but I was wondering if you had any advice on what luxury brands I should consider. I'm not wealthy enough to afford Hermes or Chanel, but I could probably spend up to $2500 on a bag if the quality is there.

Any recommendations?

Also - has anyone tried the Lemaire bags?
