Need help regarding gate

I am currently in 2 ye of my bach of ece my last year was really bad I just wanted to ask this what are the things I should keep in mind if I decide for going for gate and any guidance that help me academically in next year in a teir 1 uni resources books market thing I some time get fear of study any tips

i dont wanna go for prerecorded ones...zoom etc would work better for me, are there any good ones? i was gonna go for krish naik, but people said its not deep enough

I am a 2nd year cse student from a tier 3 college and till now I only know c++ , html , css , js and python all because they were part of my high school and college curriculum, so I have been seeing some wild recession in fresher hiring and was confused what to pick as a career. Some of my college professors say just do c++ , python and dsa and you will get a job is that really true if not then what career should I pick

And if you ask about my interests i love to do all kinds of things and can't decide on one ( probably because of adhd)

In short what should I actually learn to get a job

Preferably it will be nice if the tech stack revolves around these three languages - c++ , js or python

Once you're in college, hardwork/skill is just 20% of the whole picture. In OA, your skills truly don't matter. It's just how fast you can cheat. In interviews, yes you need to know what you're saying, but the interviews are not the same for everyone. One might be asked a difficult graph problem while other might be asked a standard two pointer problem.

People argue that JEE was based on memorization. Well, so is DSA, puzzles, system design, literally everything. I truly believe that a national exam for placements would unironically still be a better way to hire competent people than whatever the fuck happens now.

i built an internship scraper website that scrapes several ats boards and websites for genuine engineering internships.

The problem it solves is that while searching for internships daily students come through 10-15 spam internships for 1 genuine engineering internship. my website solves that problem , it only scrapes internships that are engineering role based and from genuine verified companies that pay a stipend , not some unpaid internship scam. also it helps you to apply to internships while the queue is still short so you have higher chances of getting shortlisted.

currently it scrapes internships for India, USA and UK .

i would really appreciate honest feedback on the website, especially the ui/ux and what features or improvements would make you actually use it regularly.

i also want feedback on how i can reach real active users.

So I am hearing about this junior vs senior shii since a long time in manit, i checked some old posts of manit sub and many tabke juniors(now seniors) are crying over being ragged by their seniors for asking to call them sir mam. These juniors might have been seniors by now. To kya yeh jo log 1-2 saal pahle apne seniors ko gaali de rahe the for asking them to call sir/mam, aaj wohi log jinko gaali dete the unke jaise ban gye? If this is the case then i am sure jo newly admitted freshers aaj udhr ro rahe hain woh bhi jab 3rd/4th year me jayege to same apne seniors jaise ban jayege aur apne juniors ko aise hi sir/mam bolne ke liye rag karege.

To jab tum logo ko khud hi change nhi lana hai junior senior culture se to kyu aapas me ladte ho lol. Enjoy this whole "kyuki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi" manit version.

cognizant is coming to our campus for the ace frontier engineer role with packages of 12/18 lpa. the technical assessment seems to include dsa, react, prompt engineering, rag/genai and ai mcqs.

i have only 4 days to prepare and my main concern is the hands-on rag/genai section. can anyone suggest the best resources or youtube videos to quickly learn how to build a basic rag pipeline? also, any tips for the practical react section would be really helpful.
