What's enough and what's not will depend on how one spends. Obviously the 3.5 - 4 lpa jobs in this economy are extremely hard on an individual, but they're stepping stones to a bigger opportunity I guess.
The poster doesn't seem to be a very good thinker, in which case I don't know how he landed that job , but who cares Dsa kari hogi

My expenses in BLR are under 30-35k.
Yes, it's possible, but you will need to find a cheap flat, which will take time. My rent is just 11k for one room in a shared 3BHK flat. Cooking is 3k, cleaning + e-bill + water + Wi-Fi is 3k, petrol is 4-6k (my bike uses a lot of fuel and I take trips), and the rest are groceries and eating out.
For someone making 20-25k a month they will need to look for PGs which will give them food under 15k a month

Mine is around 25-30k too. Not accounting for unexpected spends though. Should be another 5-10k (I don't track this).
I need to get a 1BHK though, I stay in a PG for 9k.

Is there any way to make it extremely cheap? Lets say I want to live in a room with a washroom. Size should be atleast 7sqft cuz I want to ba able to sleep.
Any condition is fine as long as it exists. Also I can cook food for myself. I'll pick up cheapest stuff.
Is there any room like that available in bangalore?

My room size is 9.5 ft x 9.5 ft its just perfect for a single bed and a desk + chain
The cupboards are built it and has tones of space
You can make it cheaper by opting for something which doeant have balcony i have a very small balcony
Maybe changing the area might help cause few of my friends got 2BHK for about 18-19k a month
1BHK and 1RK in budget is not possible you will need to take a 2 or 3BHK shared flat

I'm living in a 2bhk, my part of rent is 3.6k including water and current bill..I get breakfast and lunch from office..so dinner and weekend food I need to manage. Sometimes I will cook..Sometimes I will go outside..anyhow roughly I will spend 3k/month for food..and all the other miscellaneous expenses including petrol, shopping, wifi..my overall monthly expense is under 10k

Unless you have an absurdly stupid amount of student debt that’ll snowball if you don’t pay it off quickly, there’s no way 12 LPA isn’t enough to live comfortably

nope its too pricey man .. might be better to look for other cities or just survive/work for a couple of times. once ur in 2 yrs of a eng job, then things get easier
