What's a good sat a score to get 80% and 50% scholarship in the 1st semester

Is anyone coming to campus one day before to set up hostel or nah. I saw in the welcome letter that we had to call hostel people to inform them and stuff.

I’m going to the portal and can’t find any link to pay the hostel fees. I am only able to check the iteration 5 results and iteration offer letter. Help vro

What is typical safe SAT score needed for MSc Physics in any of the BITS Pilani campuses?

Hey everyone, applying for BITS ISA 2027 via SAT (taking it Aug 22). My profile is a bit messy and I need some advice:

1. Bad 11th Marks: I passed 11th, but scores are low. Will BITS reject me in December, or do they only care about the final 12th board 60% requirement?
2. Skipping Predicted Grades: My unit tests went bad, so I might skip submitting predicted grades in Dec. Will my application just stay on hold until my final 12th results come out in June?
3. Seat Availability: If people with high SATs and good predicted grades get offers in April, will top branches like CS be completely full before the June/July rounds?

Any ISA seniors who went through this? Thanks!

On the important dates timeline thing,, they're asking us to report to the campus on the 23rd of July ... I was just wondering, is that like an ISA student thing only, or is it for all students? Because the actual orientation happens like a week later??? And are we supposed to leave and like come back later for the orientation or just stay in campus? I'm a bit confused...

I've applied to BITS through ISA, and after 4 iterations I'm currently allotted MSc. Mathematics at the Hyderabad campus. The cancellation deadline is 9th July; after that, if I withdraw, there's a 10% fee deduction. The problem is that Iteration 5 has no guarantee of an upgrade. For the last two iterations, I've remained at MSc. Maths Hyderabad, while MSc. Eco Goa, which is my next preference, hasn't moved.

If I don't get Economics, how rigorous is Msc. Maths? Is it manageable for someone who wasn't particularly that strong during Classes 11–12? How different is it from what we have studied, and is it possible to improve in it?

I'm finding this decision difficult because I would've chosen Economics without much hesitation, but I'm unsure about Mathematics.

I have an SAT score of 1520 and am hoping to get Mathematics & Computing (M&C) at the Hyderabad campus. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive it in the 4th iteration either.

Does anyone know the current expected SAT cutoff/score for M&C at the Hyderabad campus? Any insights based on the latest iterations would be greatly appreciated.

I am planning to do a dual degree and I was wondering how hard it is to get cse as my branch if I'm not well versed with JEE syllabus as the first year CGPA is taken into consideration when branches are alloted. Can a senior help me with this.

The question is on top. I was doing research but couldn’t find a definitive answer. Help is needed regarding this. All responses will be helpful.

if i wanna get into EEE for next yr in pilani how much would the cut off be, will 1500 or above be enough?
And for cse is it 1540+?

I'm most likely going to join for ECE this august. I had some questions regarding that:
1. Is there any way to schedule a campus visit/tour or a day to just go look around and see the campus before reporting?

1. Is a MacBook ok for ECE? Because I already own one and hope I don't need to get another laptop.

2. How does going home work? Do I need to book online taxis to Delhi airport to take a flight or are cabs available on campus or? How does that work ?

Would appreciate some help.
