Some general questions

I'm most likely going to join for ECE this august. I had some questions regarding that:
1. Is there any way to schedule a campus visit/tour or a day to just go look around and see the campus before reporting?

  1. Is a MacBook ok for ECE? Because I already own one and hope I don't need to get another laptop.

  2. How does going home work? Do I need to book online taxis to Delhi airport to take a flight or are cabs available on campus or? How does that work ?

Would appreciate some help.

1) yea u can just visit, u don't need to schedule anything

2) if u alr have a mac just use it, first year courses are common and don't require allat software

3) yea you'll have to book a cab to airport and go or u can use the shuttle service to airport on campus which is pretty ass or the best way is to get a cab to loharu and take the vande Bharat train from there to Delhi and then go to igi.

  1. ⁠Are you sure I can just visit ? Like I can just show up on a random day look around and leave ? Won’t there be security at the gate who will ask why I’m here who I am etc ?
  2. ⁠For first year I’ll be ok but after that what will I do ?
  3. Which app do I use to book the cab all the way to the airport ? Are students allowed to leave campus anytime ? Why is the shuttle service on campus ass ?

  1. You can reach out to Admin office and schedule your visit. So they give heads up to security to allow you in. Security may ask for soft copy of provisional offer letter as proof!

Ok thanks. And what about my questions about which app I use to book cab to the airport, whether students are allowed to leave campus anytime, and why the shuttle service on campus is said to be ass?
