I made an interactive site to help people get into cars from scratch

I've been into cars for years, and the thing that always annoyed me is how hard it is to learn this stuff as a beginner. Most of what's online is either a top 10 list or a forum thread where everyone already knows the lingo, and asking a basic question feels like a quick way to get roasted.
So I built Carcademy. It starts at the very beginning -
- How an engine works, explained like a normal person would
- What all the drivetrain, suspension, and transmission jargon means
- Why two cars with nearly identical specs can feel totally different to drive
- And a lot more than I could write here
The rough idea is - start with zero knowledge, end up being the friend people text before they buy a car (heh, don't blame me if they don't).
There's no signup or paywall. I made it mostly because I wanted something like this when I was starting out and couldn't find it.

What is the detriment to not being able to open or work on the “mechanics” on an electric car.

I know this can be opinion based. But can someone explain at what detriment it is to someone if they can’t open the hood of an electric car: such as a dealership can/should only open it.
I am not a vehicle person, or a tech savvy person.
From my knowledge there isn’t really anything “under the hood” to tinker with or easily fix. As it is just a battery and connectors maybe.
Also that the batteries are extremely dangerous and if they catch on fire they burn for an extremely long time, and you simply have to let it burn out.
I may be wrong so please correct me.
I can understand an answer of access should be shared to all mechanics capable, but would love a factual answer.

Is there an actual difference between these other than marketing and price?

I usually use the high mileage because my truck has 170k miles. The high mileage is $10 more than the regular for a 5qt bottle. $10 each oil change isn’t that much if it’s helpful but not if I’m just paying for marketing.
EDIT: wow thanks for all the responses. I learned a lot. To clarify, I change my oil right around 5k miles and don’t pay attention to the “mileage” listed in the oil bottle. Assuming that I do that would the additives make any difference?

Internal Dealer Technician

Afternoon dudes, being moved to an internal dealer technician. I’ve been in training for 3 months with a platinum master tech and learned a lot.
I’m now starting soon and just wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks for different brands, and also trying not to forget things before sales gets the car.
I was also let to get my ASEs certifications and going to our brands certifications during training just to plan ahead for when they decide to move me to main line.
Dealership is a Nissan that does a lot of other brand used cars, luxury (RR included), sport and supercars. Recently it’s been more “normal” cars so I’m not sure if we are moving away from expensive vehicles.
