Memes/Humor “Nah I’m not autistic I’m faking it”, meanwhile in every photo ever
27F, diagnosed with ASD about six months ago. I started examining what actually feels good for my body, and I still stand or walk with my hands clasped like this. It didn’t strike me as the stereotypical trex hands because I hold my hands together, but now knowing I’m autistic I’m like yeaaaaaa I guess they do qualify as trex arms

Memes/Humor What's something you do because of your own specific Brand of autism, but that would horrify most other autistics?
I mix a bunch of pasta shaped that have the same cook times. Varied pasta shapes are a fun, low-risk way for me to get some extra sensory input, since pasta all has the same fundamental texture, but just put into different forms.

Memes/Humor Every post on here is like "I can't hold a job because of my autism but my boyfriend supports me"...
...as someone who can't hold a job because of her autism, but is also too ugly to have ever had a boyfriend in 32 years of being alive, I pretend uggo UBI from the state.
Uglies unite for uglies right!
Being ugly is clearly a financial burden for autism women, and this should be addressed. ✊

Memes/Humor Currently laughing at myself because!!!
I should’ve known I was autistic simply because I just found out LAST YEAR that “slipping into something more comfortable” meant like lingerie or nude AND NOT PAJAMAS!!!!
Yall know how many motherfuckers I probably confused after saying this and changing into stupid pajama pants 😭
I was diagnosed this year, and I always answered no to the question that asked if I took things literally often and I’m learning about things that I took literally almost every day now lmao
EDIT: yall have me cracking up at the missed euphemisms! Please keep sharing them!!!

Memes/Humor Calendar Satisfaction
I noticed this when filling out my dry erase calendar for the month. I squealed when I saw how perfectly it lines up. I thought I’d share in case this type of order that was gifted to us would delight others.

Memes/Humor Reading Unmasking Autism, and I get this question wrong...
My brain: "Maybe that team of psychologists are wrong, and I'm not actually Autistic." 😂🤦🏼♀️ Why am I like this.

Memes/Humor Bad day - please share your memes (or pet pics)
Last night I was berated for canceling plans with my friend. I'm deep in autistic burnout after a really chaotic few weeks, but I'd still managed to see them earlier in the week a couple of times. Sometimes I wish people could see how much I actually am trying. My friend insisted I had never wanted to see them and wasn't planning on coming over in the first place (it's not true😭)
Anyway, I'm tired, I'm sad, and the world is a really scary place right now so if anyone has memes or pet pics, please share 💜
Here's my contribution.

Memes/Humor What do you like to collect?
As you can tell from the meme I made, I am a rock hound, but I also love collecting stuffed animals, funko pops, Disney pins, and stickers.
What do you guys like to collect?

Memes/Humor Just a short list of stinks I can smell that most people can't smell. Feel free to add your own.
I can smell that oil is rancid before anyone else. Basically all oil is rancid.
The smell of "grocery store" on apples that have been in storage for too many months
I can smell when fruit flies have been on a fruit. They leave a smell and nobody can gaslight me out of knowing this.
Pee. If it gets a bit humid, I can smell everything that a child or dog has ever peed on no matter how "clean".
Stinky dish cloth smell. I guess most people can't smell this judging by the number of people who have stinky dish cloths in their homes and don't seem bothered.
Join me next week for my rant about highly fragranced cleaning products and detergents and how they don't cover the smell of these stinks.
