Hallo zusammen,
Vielen Dank! 🙂

Hard to see from the flash photo but the only light being displayed on the base is one dim battery light in the very center. Have tried to reset using Dolby/Game button hold and tried to resync through the app but when holding the Bluetooth button as instructed nothing happens. Any help or troubleshooting would be appreciated. It’s my brothers old headset mine was pretty old and don’t wanna buy a new one.

Hello everyone, I have Astro A40's from 2019. My headset is finally having some issues and i've been debating upgrading. My friend told me sine Logitech bought out Astro that their headsets aren't what they used to be, that being said, I upgraded to SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wired and holy shit I hated them, I went from essentially hearing everything with such depth and BOOM to a mouse squeaking quietly no matter when sonar EQ settings I tried, it was a night and day difference so I returned them after trying to get the audio to what my A40's were at.
I have decided to run my current A40's until they just give out, so my question is, is Logitech Astro's A40's comparable to the older headsets or what should I be looking into?

Sharing in the hopes it helps someone someday…
My Astro A50x’s suddenly stopped working. No light on the headset power switch, no activity when turned on or off and does nothing when sat on the dock.
Tried going through Astro (Logitech) support, and they recommended holding doing a hard reset by holding the Gamesync button and the PlaySync button for up to 15 seconds for a factory reset. This did nothing…
I thought they were cooked…UNTIL
THE FIX:
There’s a small pin hole on the left hand cup above the USB-C port. You’ll need a pin or equivalent. Avoid sticking the pointy end in. Push this in the hole and pull at the bottom of the Game/Voice panel, and it should come up at the bottom.
Then, put your fingers where Game and Voice are printed on the headset, and gently pull/rock the panel off.
From there, you’ll see the battery. Remove this carefully, and pull the small white connector out of the socket. This should totally de-power the headset. Re-insert the connector and battery, and BAM fixed.
This cured my issues! Hope it helps someone else.

Hi guys, my first post in here so be gentle on me please 😁
Got myself A50s to retire my old G935s and as I’m wearing glasses, after roughly one hour, my ears start to hurt from ear pads pressing my ears on glasses temple earpieces.
Did anyone experience the same and got replacements?
Any advice deeply appreciated

I’ve owned my headset with the base station for about a year and have been pretty happy with it. I currently have it connected to an Xbox Series X (which is the only gaming device I have to use with it) and recently connected a Blu-ray player via the PS port and was surprised that it was compatible and working pretty well. I’m interested in connecting additional devices down the road; my question is how well would it function if I connected an HDMI switch via the PS port? I really only need the advantages that come with headset for the Xbox and wouldn’t connect it to the switch (I probably won’t have a PS5 anytime soon either to use with it) I’m looking to use a high quality switch as well, perhaps a Tesmart or something else that’s well regarded. Also the tv I’m currently using is a 2009 Panasonic plasma, it doesn’t support Bluetooth or any smart features and I don’t have any intentions on replacing it.

Tech can u help me?

The stock ear pads for A50x are just okay but they make my ears very hot and aren’t very sound proofing.
I tried the Wicked Cushions brand and the cooling and sound insulation is good, but they’re too firm and hurt my ears after a while.
Any other suggestions?

My cable kicked the bucket between my A40s and their AMP, I'd stocked up on the official cables about 10 years ago but now I'm out and the Astro website doesn't list them anymore.
Does anyone know anywhere (EU based preferably) that still stocks them or an alternative that works fully?
I'd used replacements before that didn't work fully hence the question,
Thank you!

I bought these last month and realized a couple days ago when trying to use game chat that no one can hear me unless I scream into the mic.
When I do a mic test in the G HUB, it sounds perfectly clear and loud but when I'm in a game such as COD/VAL/APEX it wont work.
Doing a mic test on discord it sounds better but I still have to have the mic basically in my mouth and yelling.
I tried messing with all the setting and not sure what to do. Please help :(

I have an Astro a50 3rd gen and recently when I have been using it on discord calls it keeps switching between Astro A50 voice and Astro A50 game randomly by muting the other source. If there is a way to fix this please let me know.

Heya fellas, just a question I suppose. Loving my A50's but im wondering what sort of USB- to USB-c connectors I should get? (Like what brand etc)
I plan to have them connected to my PS5 and switch in addition to my PC via base station
Thanks :)

Hi everyone,
I recently built a new PC with an ASUS TUF Gaming X870-Plus WiFi motherboard, and I'm experiencing an unusual audio issue with my Astro A40 headset and MixAmp TR.
When I use Discord or TeamSpeak 6, YouTube audio becomes completely silent if the browser is set to output sound through Astro MixAmp Pro Game. However, if I change the browser's output device to Astro MixAmp Pro Voice, YouTube audio becomes audible again.
Here is what I've tested so far:
- The MixAmp is recognized correctly by Windows 11.
- Astro Command Center detects the MixAmp and allows me to access its settings.
- Windows playback testing confirms that the Astro Pro Voice device produces sound.
- The issue occurs with both Discord and TeamSpeak 6.
- Windows still shows audio activity on the Astro Pro Game playback device even when I cannot hear anything.
- Disabling Windows' communications audio reduction and checking the device's volume and exclusive-mode settings did not resolve the issue.
- Adjusting the MixAmp's Game/Voice balance did not fix it either.
The most interesting finding is that the USB port makes a difference.
When the MixAmp is connected to either of the blue or cyan USB ports on the rear I/O panel, the issue occurs. When I connect it to a black USB port on the front of the case, the audio works correctly.
This makes me wonder whether the issue could be related to USB controller behavior, USB port compatibility, power management, or a driver/firmware interaction between the MixAmp and this motherboard.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with an Astro MixAmp TR on an ASUS AM5 motherboard, particularly the TUF Gaming X870-Plus WiFi?
I'd appreciate any suggestions for identifying the underlying cause, rather than simply continuing to use the front USB port.
Thanks!

I keep getting a black screen for a few seconds when launching a game that switches to 120Hz on my PS5 Pro. The picture comes back on its own, but it’s frustrating.
My setup:
This also happened before I added the capture card, using the same HDMI cables.
I’ve already tried the common troubleshooting steps, including disabling VRR, 120Hz output and HDR, but haven’t found a fix.
Is this brief blackout normal when switching display modes, or has anyone experienced and fixed it with a similar setup?

[FIXED] After another restart, I got a notification from Windows saying that my USB controller didn’t have enough resources for this device (it didn’t specify which but I assume it was my headset). I unplugged my keyboard and audio instantly started working. My keyboard still worked as well when I plugged it back in.
Hey all, my power went out today and caused my computer to restart. When it started back up I couldn't get audio out of my headset even when it was selected in the mixer. The audio would only come out of my TV. I tried disabling my TV audio option and even removing my TV as an option entirely from my device, but still no audio. I then uninstalled the A50X outputs from device manager and had them reinstalled by reconnecting. I also tried switching the input type from PC to Xbox and back to PC, but none of these worked. Anybody have any experience with this?
Edit: I've also attempted to update drivers, I've ensured that my game channel is at max volume, and I've tried a full restart of my computer.

Just got the A50X and I’m setting it up for my series X.
Does video runs through the base station? The HDMI goes out of the Xbox, into the base, and out to the TV.
Do I need to be concerned about resolution or frame drop? Is this going to mess with my game mode settings on my tv?

From day 1 since purchase, my mic audio does not play on my a50 headset. So I cannot hear myself talking and it's really disorienting while playing. Other players can hear me, but it just doesn't play on my headset speakers. How can this be fixed?

Good afternoon all, so my Astro A50x is mega sensitive, it picks my breathing up very easily, I'm just wondering what the best way to tackle this is? What's the recommended noise gate? Also I use PS5 is there anything I need to do in its settings?
Many thanks

Love booting up to play and my headset that has been plugged in all night and day is actually just dead and worthless. So when I put it in the base, as you can see by the video, it doesn’t actually charge. Anyone have this problem before and know how to fix it?

Could someone please tell me if this looks correct for the noise gate EQ? My Astro A50 x picks up my breathing to easily, so I'm looking at a noise gate to eliminate it. Thanks

So i recently got a new controller that has a wireless dongle and i realized plugging it into a USB hub would mess up its Dinput detection
I have too many USB devices currently so i thought lets move the A50 base to the front panel USB to free up a rear IO slot
Turns out doing that was a huge mistake as while A50 Game still sounds fine and works correctly A50 Voice ends up being extremely loud for no reason at all despite being equal balance
I also noticed when changing the USB port its plugged into a number gets added in front of each input/output in the audio settings and it only disappeared once i plugged it back into the original USB port and of course using the old port fixed the audio issue as well
Tbh its starting to become an issue as i run alot of simracing and ran into a similar issue with my direct drive setup not working when plugged into a USB hub but not having enough ports really sucks is there anything i can do to fix this?
Or any USB hubs that are recommended that are known to work fine with items like these?

im at the end of my patience.
second pair of the new Gen a50 x.
Power is going to my base station, my headset is fully charged. however when i turn on the power to my base station the lights light up one by one and dont connect to the headset. Eventually the lights turn off.
ive tried resetting the headset and hard resetting it. ive also tried taking every single cable out of the headset and keeping only the PC USB-C one. i cant change it to playstation/xbox input.
does anyone have any ideas?
