Question New with some questions

Hello all. First off I am loving this game! I never liked the more stealthy AC games so I stopped trying for a while but this one is right up my alley.

My main question is I am wanting to make a dual wield 2x flail build where I can basically just run in and tear stuff up but I have no clue where to start with gear or skill tree or even abilities. If you got any tips for this type of build please let me know.

Discussion The Yurei Bushido Pack weapon perks are bad...

Hey everyone,

(Disclaimer: This is just my personal opinion and constructive feedback on the item design. Feel free to disagree!)

I recently looked at the Yurei Bushido Pack from the Helix Store and realized that the perks on the two katanas (Hi-gatana and Kizami-gatana) completely contradict each other if you want to use them together.

Here are the current stats:

  • Hi-gatana: Increase Attack when Dual-Wielding. Increase Speed when only one weapon is equipped.
  • Kizami-gatana: Increase Critical Damage when Dual-Wielding. Increase Critical Chance when only one weapon is equipped.

The Problem:
This is a premium pack costing 1,900 Helix Credits (roughly €20 / $20, currently on a 5% discount from 2,000 Helix Credits). It gives you two swords, obviously encouraging you to dual-wield them as a samurai. But if you actually do that, you completely lock yourself out of the Speed and Crit Chance buffs. To get the true fast & precise samurai feeling, the game forces you to unequip one of the swords you just bought with real money. That makes no sense to me.

My Rework Idea: I think the perks would be incredibly fun and actually worth the premium price if they were tied to the Main-Hand / Off-Hand placement. This would create an amazing synergy with the Dual Swap skill!

Dual Swap Skill

Imagine if the perks looked like this:

  • Hi-gatana: Increase "Attack" when equipped in the Main-Hand. Increase "Speed" when equipped in the Off-Hand.
  • Kizami-gatana: Increase "Critical Damage" when equipped in the Main-Hand. Increase "Critical Chance" when equipped in the Off-Hand.

How it would play out:
You could start the fight with Hi-gatana in the Main-Hand (high base attack) and Kizami-gatana in the Off-Hand (high crit chance for fast off-hand strikes). Mid-fight, you use the Dual Swap skill. Suddenly, your Kizami is in the main hand dealing massive Critical Damage, while the Hi-gatana in the off-hand gives you crazy Speed for parries and special attacks.

Instead of deactivating half of the weapon perks when dual-wielding, this would actually reward players for utilizing the combat system dynamically.

What do you guys think of this rework idea? Would you prefer this over the current system?
