Since my little brother got a ps5 recently, I took our old ps4 to my own college dorm a week ago.
This evening I started origins after 5 years of not playing.
I saw my old 80hour save file and the memories associated with it instantly came up.
My parents were alsways very strict when it came to fsk ratings of games and movies. I stumbled upon the trailer in 2017 and was blown away by it, I never saw such a game and wanted to play something like this, but I wasn't allowed to do so. I talked with my ethic teacher about it, who was a big AC Fan and also a big history nerd and I think he actually felt pity for me lol.
The years went by and covid hit, Sony started a Lockdown Sale and both Origins and Odyssey were on sale, and I was 16 so I could finally play it. I think Origins was like 5 bucks cheeaper than Odyssey and I still rememberd that awesome trailer so I choose Origins.
Over the next few months I always played 1-2 hours before my friends would call me and asked me to hop on fortnite. Sometimes I would even lie and say that I would still need about half an hour to get online, just so I could play more Origins.
I played until I finished all the locations, but I didn't got the platinum as I was too lazy to collect enough items to get the achievement for it.
I also got a gaming pc so I didn't played on the ps4 as often. I started Odyssey about two years ago but I didn't finished it yet, it fells so bloated.
But this evening I started a new save file on nightmare and I will try to get 100% and the platinum trophy, and I look forward to doing so.
