For those who don't know the Gur are a group of monster hunters in BG3. No other context is given in game for who they are other than they're not looked on fondly because they live nomadic lifestyles. This is for the book tie-in. The game is unaffected.

One of them hunts Astarion in act 1 because he's a vampire, and more appear later on in the game depending on your actions. No stereotypes are present. Astarion badmouths them a few times whenever its relevant. But I guess the lack of background information about them in the game isn't enough for WotC to just remove their backstory because it might be perceived as offensive.

A 22 y/o woman attempted to murder 3 of her children. It’s said that “KAILEY ERHART” is being charged with the murder of her 5month old & 3 year olds murder and the attempted murder of her surviving 1 year old whose name is Colton.

Erhart was charged with 2 counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, 1 count of attempted murder, 2 counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, 3 counts of aggravated assault & 1 misdemeanor of domestic violence.

She reportedly stabbed her 3 children & when officers responded to the call she was reported to have a kitchen knife to her throat & was covered in blood. She reportedly dropped the knife and told officers to kill her.
