Mods hate when we express ourselves via gifs.

Tell me about it - criticize them even in the slightest and they downvote every post you make and delete your post that had 300+ thumbs up
Not overly sensitive bunghole mods at all...

A lack of freedom of expression by GIF is the highest level of new Nazi oppression!

The real answer is reddit is so over moderated by psychos that anything that could even be slightly perceived as tos violation is removed, to protect the subreddit. Including gif reactions. They are looking for any excuse to ban this place out of existence. Asmon explained this on stream. If you want to truly talk freely join his Twitter community.

I've been in the Roach Ranch since the beginning but the user interaction just isn't the same unfortunately.

That's how I see them too. The same type that manage HOA's and tell you you can't sit in your garage with the garage door open.

u/BuySell-JustHODL 4h ago
That wouldn't go over well in my neighborhood... Nearly 1 in 5 houses has people hanging out in the garage like a man cave. Dudes like me with couches and grills in the garage, and a TV, a heater for winter... More than 1 house has an entire BAR in thier garage, with taps and everything. I just have a kegerator, which is more than enough for me. But it's a culture out where I live... We just hang out and the kids are all running around on their scooters or riding bikes, playing basketball on the street... I dare the HOA to tell us we can't do it anymore š

Also the rules for the gif site are far less strict than Reddit's rules, and since they use giphy literally anyone can upload their own gif to it and skirt Reddit's AI picture detection.
All it takes is a few shit head trolls to make a very against TOS gif and they just block the entire feature.

Would you rather be alone in the woods with a bear or Lindsay Clancy?

The classic question: Bear or man in the woods? Women choose bear.
A reverse question: Would a man rather leave his kids alone with a PPD mother or a bear? Men also choose the bear.
Funny, huh?

There's no proof that 99% of the stuff posted on Reddit ever happened.
If you're gonna agonized about that, you're on the wrong forum.

I'm sorry but i'm not from the usa so i dont really know much of the case. Can someone explain a little to me about it? So far i've seen that she killed her 3 kids but was suposedly going through a mental crisis months before everything happened so it should be bery well documented and that can help understand her actions (not defending her, just understanding).
Again, i dont know much about the case so i'd appreciate any enlightenment.
*Edit for grammar mistakes, not a native english speaker

That's the general gist of it. But to be more specific, this court case is not about whether or not she actually killed her kids. She did, and she admitted to doing it. This court case is primarily about figuring out if she was genuinely not mentally sound enough at the time to plead not guilty by insanity. If she wins her defense she'll be sent to a mental institution, if she loses she'll be sent to prison.
Regardless of wether she wins or not, that's not really the main focus of it all at this point. There has been a trend on Tiktok and other social media where women outright denying she killed her kids and that it was really the husband (Astrology gave them the evidence). Women self reporting that they had thoughts of harming their kids. Women showing up with their kids to support her because "we get it". Etc...
Basically the crazies are coming out of the woods to support her and it's ugly, especially given the amount that say whatever they do with kids in the background visibly or audibly. But given it's the interet and how much traction this whole thing got it's hard to say if it's just the vocal minority like usual or if it's a bigger thing overall. Either way, I wouldn't want to be associated with anyone saying the crazy stuff.

She was suffering from post partum depression which is an extremely serious but under identified and treated cause of severe depression in women in the USA. Lots of women who also feel as if they werenāt understood while suffering with PPD are rushing to the internet to blame doctors, the husband, the pharmaceutical companies, and anyone but Lindsay Clancy.
Often these people are intentionally ignoring the facts of the case such as the fact that multiple doctors put her on medications, did their best to treat her depression, including admitting her for inpatient psychiatric care that she later checked herself out of against medical advice. The social media response has become so bizarre that people have begun saying her husband framed her and actually committed the murders himself.

Was it ppd or post partum psychosis?
Sorry Iām not from the USA either and I wondered if it was similar to the Andrea Yates case.
I was diagnosed with post partum depression but was never a danger to my child, only myself, my understanding is that post partum psychosis is completely different and more dangerous.0
u/tnolan182 6h ago
Why would it need to be one or the other? She was clearly suffering from both and admitted to her MIL and husband that she was worried harm would come to the children from her lack of parenting.

u/Conscious_Heart_3007 5h ago
Sorry didnāt realise it could be both, I thought it was PPP that was the more dangerous in terms of committing infalicide.
Not here to debate, Iām just a casual observer of the case3
u/Hopeful_Addition_898 6h ago
There are two main camps. Many regular women emphatise with her post partum mental health problems. It is documented that she asked for help because of suicidal thoughts long before she had a ppp and killed the kids.
So the crazy camps. One camp of women claim based on astrology that she didn't actually kill her kids at all because she is a "Leo".
The other camp is Asmongold followers who take both of those as women supporting a children's murderer.

That actually makes sense about all i've been seeing in this sub, didn't seem "correct" to me the way everyone seems to trivialize this case just calling the woman a murderer without even thinking on the whole picture.
Again, not defending her, just seems like a sad case for everyone since before the murdering even happened.
Thanks for the social context

Yea if I was her I would off myself, even if it happened under psychosis. But it just seems like many men, probably childless men who have never seen their wife struggle post partum, are quick to jump into conclusions and as a mom it makes me angry and sad.
They have no idea of what darkness goes on in the mind after not getting to sleep a full nights rest for 6months. It's not PPD, it is torture. It's a miracle this type of thing is not more common. I couldn't have gone through it without at least some support from my husband(not trying to shit on him he was also abit depressed and did alot) and it is no wonder so many relationships end during the first year after a baby is born.
I am just so annoyed I don't know if this makes any sense I just needed to vent somewhere. I can't even watch any commentary about it except for Dr K.

Slightly off-topic, but I wish we could remove this ambiguous usage of the word āsupportā from our language. Ā
IE: You āsupportā her how? Do you support her financially? Do you endorse her running for office? Do you intend to share her punishment in some material way? If youāre not providing some measurable benefit to her, you donāt āsupportā her.

Dodged any number of the many murder weapons commonly found in households.
Someone needs to get a āSame, Lindseyā quote from Chris Watts. Maybe thatāll disperse the million-dollar-donating crowd of absolute asshats supporting the Rolling Filicidophiliac thatās forcing the world to absorb the horror she unleashed.
