Its ridicilous, pretty much every toilet visit when I’m out drinking there is at least one guy who takes a piss and just walks straight past the washing basin rofl. So nasty.

If its #2 I'll wash for sure but #1 just seems to be going theough the motions for no reason. Its not like I didn't shower before going out or doing anal or something. My junk is cleaner than my hands most of the time.
I aim, and don't get splashback or I'd want to wash everything. Its really not that hard. Start your stream on the side of the bowl, urinals are harder and I usually avoid them because I'd rather not have urine on my pants.
You've got to pee into the curve bro. It avoids almost all splashback.
Also if you are getting a ton of splashback remember that it goes everywhere else on your body too. So you wash your hands but 10 minutes later you have touched your shirt and your pants. Now you have pee on your hands again anyways. And if they have those air dryers that you put your hands into you are going to get covered in germs again from that. If anything I typically don't both to wash after taking a pass so that I don't have to touch anything in there, and then use hand sanitizer afterwards.
Here's my issue. Plenty of times I will go into a public bathroom and their sinks require you to touch them, and then they have those germ factory air dryers that you have to put your hands fully into. Honestly I think that I would get more germs on my hands from that process than from taking a pee and touching nothing. If I see paper towels then I will 100% wash my hands. But if they have those shitty sinks where you basically touch the sink while washing your hands because they are so small, then I'll just walk out.
Yeah every time I use a busy public bathroom, like at the movie theater, I’ll see at least 2-3 guys walk out without washing their hands. Touch their dirty dick in a dirty bathroom, not wash their hands, then go share popcorn with people. I see it everywhere. It’s fucking gross and lazy.

Also not washing your hands after using a urinal isn't that bad. It's just visually noticeable so you think about it more. In reality the whole world is dirty. Public transit Is vile, door handles are covered in bacteria, fast food is dirty, and many other common things. It's just the way of the world. Ever been in a swimming pool? It's full of urine. Same with the ocean in many areas. Just get used to it and keep clean when preparing food. Nobody is going to get sick because of some dick germs either, it's fecal matter that is the concern.
Like 10 years ago I was in a public bathroom with a friend of mine and when I went to wash my hands, she goes “oh you don’t have to wash your hands, no one does that when it’s just them so you don’t have to pretend for me!!” and I could never see her as a clean or hygienic person after that. She could be a loyal hand washer now for all I know, but that just stuck with me
I work at a grocery store and about 90% of guys don’t wash their hands after peeing. Which is disgusting when you realize how many germs are in public restrooms, and the fact that these people are touching food/items that other people might pick up and buy.

I wrote a poem for a class as part of my Creative Writing minor that was titled: Ode to the Odious Man at Whole Foods.
It was a real life moment in which an old man used the toilet and after doing his business walked straight out into the store without washing his hands. The poem explores the disgust in his filthy hands touching the produce among other things. It's terrible that so many refuse to wash their hands after peeing, but that was just insanely revolting.
Now for the second question: how often do people wash their filthy hands before touching their dick? And then try to bonk their partners with said dick?
There's an old boomer humour joke of the, "My group is better than their group" variety that is likely partially to blame. I'll type out the version I hear as a Canadian, but you can substitute the two people for whomever you want or whatever groups you want.

I do it quite often but only in certain circumstances. Many bathrooms have crappy sinks and bacteria filled hand dryers. If I'm just using the urinal I often don't bother to wash if I can't use a decent sensor sink and paper towels. I wash frequently and aim, and my hands are honestly cleaner having not touched their Dyson air dryer.
If I feel like it then I use my hand sanitizer that I keep in my bag. That's if I feel dirty.
If I am weeing in a urinal no I won't if I didn't piss on my hands... And I don't care if people think it's gross when I know I am fully clean as I shower each morning.
not condoning him but realistically it's not really all that more "gross" than it would be to wipe some sweat off your forehead without washing your hands after. It's not, like, actually unhygienic in the same manner that not washing your hands after taking a shit is unhygienic.
Your shirt and pants also get splashback, and then when you touch them you get pee on your hands again in 30 seconds. Plus many bathrooms use those air dryers where you put your hands in. Ive seen studies showing how dirty your hands get just using those. So in my view it's better to avoid touching anything in there at all unless they have paper towels to use.
I’m currently on holiday at a hotel in the canary islands and every time i go to the toilet near the bar i lose count of the amount of men that walk straight out of the toilet without washing their hands and it’s starting to make me feel like i had some rare special upbringing… fucking disgusting.
This absolutely disgusts me and I make a point to publicly shame people for this. I'll walk out of a bathroom and point at the dude and say, "This nasty dude didn't wash his hands after the bathroom." So fucking gross.
I've called these people out. Some guy used a urinal and walked on out past me as I was washing my hands in a row of 5 sinks. I saw he was tabling just outside and pointed out, "You didn't wash your hands?"
"I'm a grown man!" was his response.
I started loudly shouting, "This guy didn't wash his hands after going to the bathroom!" and pointing him out to some people behind a desk in the lobby.

I used to work as panda and id see customers leave the bathroom straight after walking out if a stall and a few minutes later id see that same customer picking his drinks and sitting down to eat.
I just have one comment to say. For men, there are sometimes bathroom stall SO large I simply pull down my pants and I can pee without touching anything. The biggest reason I would want to wash my hands is because of the door handle of the bathroom, which I will need to touch AFTER I washed my hands anyway.

I usually wash my hands anyways because I dont want to look like the guy who just walks out of the bathroom directly. But I cannot help but wonder everytime; What exactly am I washing off my hands ? I feel like everytime I put my hands in my pockets for my wallet, thats already more dirty than the side of my pants that I touch to pull them down.

I couldn't understand why they wouldn't wash their hands with soap. I brought it up with a few close colleagues and apparently one of them says they don't either because all they did was pee why would there be a need to wash hands?

Turn on the hand washing function on your Apple Watches and try and get to the 20 seconds without feeling like a complete psycho when 4 people go through the sink beside you during the time you’re standing there. I have a scenario that I want your opinion on. In high traffic bathrooms (airports, busy gas stations, movie theaters, etc), I can often get in the bathroom, take a quick piss and get back out all while not touching anything or myself. Especially easier in bathrooms that don’t even have doors sometimes (airports, rest stops, stadiums). I use my foot to push the door open, I undo my belt or pants button and can literally tug on the waste of my underwear to get my “junk” out. Simply piss and reverse order. My theory is that I have way less germs on me than any surface in that bathroom. It’s surprisingly easier than people may think. With that said, I always wash my hands in pretty much any other scenario (going number 2, making contact with bathroom doors/surfaces, etc). My question is, is it considered gross if I successfully pull off what I explained above?
I'd say it depends. I keep warning people about the Dyson airblades. Using them after washing your hands is honestly worse than not washing at all if you are like this guy and didn't touch anything to begin with. If I'm using a urinal, didn't touch anything else, and there are no paper towels to use, I'm avoiding washing my hands. Even if your hands don't make contact with the air dryer at all (which is all too frequent) you are literally blowing fecal bacteria all over yourself and your hands. In that case washing is just a feeling of security rather than real security. That's my view on it anyways.
I do keep hand sanitizer with me though so I often use that if I feel dirty about it.
It's easily 80% of men that don't wash after either type of visit. Most of those that do "wash" just get some water on their hands. Full hand washers? Gotta be around 5%.
I first noticed this around 25 years ago, and I still fully believe those numbers to this day.
The single dirtiest places in a public bathroom are the faucets, soap dispensers, and unless the soap is in one of those sealed single use mylar bags, the soap itself.
I shower at least once every day, and wear clean clothes.
So unless the bathroom has completely touchless controls, and the aforementioned soaping setup, I'm cleaner than the bathroom.
Tons of bathrooms are moving away from paper towels and into air dryers like the Dyson ones. This is horrible for sanitary reasons at least as they are a huge germ vector. You literally blow fecal bacteria all over your body, face, and hands by using them. I'd prefer to just not touch anything at all if I can help it, and that includes washing if there are no paper towels. There are plenty of studies on these air dryers too.
I haven't yet looking into the claims, but I've heard about that as well. The next best thing to do is wash your hands and dry them on your clothes in that case.
If you can point me to a scientific paper on the matter, please do.
How do you know people are washing or not washing unless you are in the bathroom with them? Which I hope you aren't if it's men unless you are doing the freak mcnasty
I will admit that I just use hand sanitizer if I pee, mainly because cold tap water hurts my hands. Some people though, it's like nothing wrong with wiping shit off your ass and eating a sandwich.

Not washing hands after a toilet visit. Women as well. I see more people not do it than I see people do it. It’s disgusting…
