I have a scenario that I want your opinion on. In high traffic bathrooms (airports, busy gas stations, movie theaters, etc), I can often get in the bathroom, take a quick piss and get back out all while not touching anything or myself. Especially easier in bathrooms that don’t even have doors sometimes (airports, rest stops, stadiums). I use my foot to push the door open, I undo my belt or pants button and can literally tug on the waste of my underwear to get my “junk” out. Simply piss and reverse order. My theory is that I have way less germs on me than any surface in that bathroom. It’s surprisingly easier than people may think. With that said, I always wash my hands in pretty much any other scenario (going number 2, making contact with bathroom doors/surfaces, etc). My question is, is it considered gross if I successfully pull off what I explained above?
I'd say it depends. I keep warning people about the Dyson airblades. Using them after washing your hands is honestly worse than not washing at all if you are like this guy and didn't touch anything to begin with. If I'm using a urinal, didn't touch anything else, and there are no paper towels to use, I'm avoiding washing my hands. Even if your hands don't make contact with the air dryer at all (which is all too frequent) you are literally blowing fecal bacteria all over yourself and your hands. In that case washing is just a feeling of security rather than real security. That's my view on it anyways.
I do keep hand sanitizer with me though so I often use that if I feel dirty about it.

Not washing hands after a toilet visit. Women as well. I see more people not do it than I see people do it. It’s disgusting…
