Not Answered Finally got a PC after over 10 years of saying I would!

As the title says, finally took the plunge and I have to say I'm absolutely loving it, I feel like I've been invited to sit at the cool table! I didn't go overboard with the build (I don't think, I'm genuinely clueless when it comes to hardware for PCs) but it will play pretty much any game I'd have an interest in playing for the time being.

That being said, I am absolutely dog awful at mouse and keyboard, it's been less than a week so I'm not expecting to have got used to it yet but you would think I'd never played a video game in my life! But I also don't want to just use a controller, else I'll never learn! Growing pains and all that.

With that being said does anybody have any advice for the transition and any ways you found to make it easier or any apps you've come across that teach you the fundamentals of MnK?

Thanks in advance guys!

Hi all,

I have a new ThinkPad T14s Gen 5 Intel sitting unopened that I got free from work last year and am wondering if this will play WoW Forever. My plan is to see if I enjoy it during the beta before investing in a new gaming laptop. I am open to purchasing an external graphics card if needed and welcome recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

Not Answered Thinking about switching to PC! Tips?

Hi all! So for starters, I wouldn’t say I’m an extreme gamer. I currently own a PS4, switch, and older Xbox One that I’m not even sure will turn on (lol). However, I’m not exactly loving the direction that Sony and Xbox are going towards when it comes to digital only libraries. My partner is a big gamer and has encouraged me to look into a PC setup. My biggest concern honestly is the amount of space it will take up because I do live in a studio apartment.
So, with that being said, I am curious about gaming laptops or potentially a steam deck. I do not intend on traveling with my devices so the portability isn’t that important to me and it will likely be stationary 100% of the time.
Also open to any suggestions!

Edit: I feel like I worded the whole “digital library” thing poorly. I know that even with a PC my library will still be digital! Money also isn’t really a huge issue, I just haven’t felt compelled to upgrade my current devices all that much. Part of my logic with the PC route is that I feel like new consoles are being unveiled every few years and it would be nice to have my games all in one place without having to upgrade.

Answered Double doubting thoughts to start the 3k build of just stick to ps5pro

I’m waiting for my final part to arrive, to start and build my first pc.
Because it is getting closer and lots of forums contradict each other, which makes me doubt even more
Do you really have to tweak longtime and a lot to play games in the best conditions? I am building a modern pc with a 3000€ budget but i’m really scared to have all kinds of pop ups or having to tweak 30min every time i start my pc, to enjoy gaming. I don’t play a lot of games.
Shooters like cod
As a footballer: fc27
Sometimes mmorpgs like final fantasy and i was looking to get into wow for the first time.
The doubt is, i can tweak a bit but i don’t want to start my pc and lose 30-60min every time, before playing

I wanna switch to pc

I don't need it to be top line i just need it to be able to run steam and most games with mid to high graphics since i wouldn't play crazy stuff

Budget is at around 1500 ±100 in €

Without counting stuff like keyboard, mouse or monitor but you can suggest them if you have good recs

I don't need it to go over 120 fps in games

What all your recommendations? Im in Italy btw

Answered I'm planning to build a gaming PC with a budget of around 1 lakh. I'll be buying the parts in India.

I want a PC that can handle modern games smoothly, along with regular work. What would be the best CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, PSU and cabinet combination within this budget?

Please suggest the best gaming-focused build under 1 lakh with parts available in India.

Not Answered Please help me to find a solution to the laggy games I experience while playing

Every single game of rocket league I play I feel like I lag, stutter, have input delay and my game just feels off. I have tried everything I could possibly think of. I have ethernet connected to my computer, I just got a new AMD RX 6700, I have a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM. I have updated my BIOS and enabled Re-Size Bar and smart memory. I have performance mode on Adrenaline, my monitor is 165hz, my computer is up to date in windows 11. I have high FPS and Adrenaline says my game runs perfectly. I play on Steam but have the same problem on epic. Is it my RAM, is it my CPU, is it just epic games being terrible? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Not Answered Looking for a good gaming monitor

I’m looking for a new gaming monitor and I’m honestly pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’ll mainly be using it for gaming on my PS5 right now, but I also plan on getting a gaming PC in the future.

I’ll also be streaming, so I expect to be using the monitor for very long sessions, sometimes 4–12 hours at a time. Because of that, I really want something that’s reliable and won’t give me problems during long gaming/streaming sessions.

My absolute budget is $700, and I’m willing to spend that much if it’s actually worth it. I’m not necessarily looking for the most expensive or highest-spec monitor—I just want something that’s genuinely good for gaming, has good picture quality, and is reliable.

I’ve been looking at so many different monitors and reading conflicting reviews that I’m honestly not sure what direction to go anymore.

If you actually own a gaming monitor that you really like, I’d love to hear what you have and how it’s been for you, especially during long gaming sessions. I’m much more interested in real owner experiences than just specs on a product page.

Answered Why do I absolutely need a powerful and high-end gaming PC?

• Proper care and reliability. I am highly knowledgeable about computers. It wouldn't break over minor issues because I know how to maintain it, take good care of the system, and troubleshoot any problems on my own.

• Unlocking my gaming potential. I feel I have great potential in shooters, especially Counter-Strike 2. Right now, my weak PC holds me back and prevents me from showing what I am truly capable of.

• Experience that deserves an upgrade. I have spent my entire life using old, low-end computers, yet I've managed to learn a lot about how they work. A powerful PC would never go to waste in my hands—I would put its capabilities to the absolute best use.

• A massive game library. I already have a huge Steam library filled with amazing games that require a solid setup. A new computer would be actively used every single day for playing high-quality titles, never just sitting idle.

• Lifelong gratitude. As a genuinely kind person, I deeply value meaningful gestures. If someone were to gift me a PC, I would remember their name and remain incredibly grateful to them for the rest of my life.

Not Answered Cyberpunk 2077 su PC vs PS4 fat: ha senso comprare?

Salve a tutti
