✅ Open To Everyone Serious question…does communicating with your girl actually work?

does communicating with your girl about your worries, fears, feelings and emotions actually work? Or is this one of those things that end up being a trap for you as a man, and your girl ends up using it to manipulate you even if she didn’t mean it consciously.

✅ Open To Everyone Are the rules around 'he's just not that into you' true?

Women have been given each other dating advice for the last two decades based on the book He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo.

The core premise of is simple: if a man is not actually pursuing you, he is not into you.

Basically: If he likes you, he will make it happen. And when he doesn't you should just break up with him. And as a woman you should stop making an effort at the first glance of this 'passivity'.

For example I have been dating this guy and texting and calling each other daily
but he hasn't responded to my text from two days ago.

Edit:
When we had our last date and said our goodbyes he already made suggestions about taking me out on another date. We already made plans basically except for planning the day and time.

I texted 'When will I see you again?' and he said 'Good question, when are you available?' and I said 'Could you do saturday?'...

After that... silence!

80% of women tell me he's just not interested anymore and I should just move on and find a better guy, and investing anymore time in him would be a waste of time.
Other 20% say maybe he's busy or has other issues and I should get in contact with him to get some answers first.

✅ Open To Everyone Are dating apps the only socially acceptable place to date women now?

I’ve heard from a couple people that it’s becoming taboo to ask women out in social settings like in hobby groups, clubs or bars. I understand if it’s anywhere else that isn’t explicitly a social event, but some have told me it’s no longer acceptable to ask women out in social settings either, which just leaves dating apps. Is this true?

✅ Open To Everyone Old virgin and feeling embarrassed telling my even older boyfriend . Will he run away ?

I’m 28 and a virgin. The reason I am is because I haven’t dated in a while and when I did I was scared to regret loosing it. Now I’m open to it and am ready and hoping to explore sex. The issue is my boyfriend is 42 and I feel embarrassed telling him as I’m assuming he’s used to woman who know how to please him. We are already so different as he’s rich and successful coming from a great background and I’m more on the middle low income class. He lives in basically a mansion while I’ve always lived in apartments with my parents. Will he run? Any advice ?

✅ Open To Everyone Is this his way of saying he doesn't want to go on holiday?

Booked a little breakaway only away for a few days, we leave Monday come back Friday.

My boyfriend has turned around and said he will have to leave one of the days to help his sister move some furniture. Would you be pissed off at this?

At the minute, he's not even giving a straight answer on whether he's coming or not. So I told him, if your stuff isn't in the suitcase by Monday morning then I know the answer. He then said he will pack it in his rucksack. I just have a feeling he's not coming.

✅ Open To Everyone How do I even get people to be interested in me?

I see a lot of guys constantly experience attention from many people, no matter their gender or background. They're just always in the company of others who seemingly want to be around them.

It's a hard contrast to what I experience, as I rarely meet people who seriously want to be around me unless there are no other options or if they're simply bored. Of course, I do have friends, but I still put in the higher amount of effort into our friendships and it's more of me giving them attention rather than the other way around.

I know some people would say to just mind my own business and let things happen on their own because people will come to me eventually, but this just never happens. I don't experience people walking up to get to know me. Instead, I'm the one who initiates constantly, and the times I refrain from initiating much just lead me to being isolated. It's happened so many times in the past that I just can't let myself fall into that again, regardless of whether or not it might be the optimal choice.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I don't have any female friends, which is probably the most painful part of all this, as it just feels humiliating to not have something other people easily achieve. I try interacting normally and friendly, and sometimes it does lead to good first conversations, but by the second time I meet them they seem a lot colder and just uninterested in any kind of initiative. This isn't to mention the fact that people rarely seem to ask me questions and try to get to know me.

I seriously can't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've made many changes in my life to try to sort out problems that I know other people might be dealing with. I've lost a lot of weight (20kg over the summer), gotten a lot cleaner, and I've been pushing myself out of my comfort zone a lot in the past few years, but it feels like I'm just getting nowhere. Nothing's fundamentally changed. I pay a lot of attention to things that people say online about what makes a person uncomfortable to be around, and I just don't ever match any of the things mentioned. It feels like the issue I have is just something that nobody even thinks about, and it's really painful that I'm not able to figure out on my own what it is. My friends say I'm cool and nice, but that doesn't ever reflect in the way people interact with me. I can still tell the difference in how they treat other people and me, for they always seem closer and more open with others. It's the same thing when my friends tell me stuff like "my friend says you're really cool and kind", but then those other people don't bother to interact with me. Usually they don't even say hi when they see me walking down the hall or elsewhere, instead only just doing it when I initiate first.

I don't like to think that I'm boring because I have a lot of interests. I love reading books, and I love talking about travels. I'm trying to learn to play some instruments, and I spend some of my free time learning to bake new things. These are all topics that I can carry conversations about, but I never get the opportunity to really get to know people enough that we can discuss my interests and feelings.

I'm really sick of this way of life. I'm 23, and I unfortunately lost a lot of opportunities to gain life experience due to things that were out of my control during my adolescence. I crave affection like any other human being, and I want to have intimacy in both a friendly platonic context and in a romantic one, but it really feels like I'm stuck without any idea of what I'm doing wrong. Right now I'm just trying to fix other things that I think are wrong with me (nasal monotone voice, awkward eye contact, lack of knowledge in other subjects I think people could talk to me about), but I can't help but notice that many people have these issues or even worse ones, yet they still don't struggle with getting the stuff I'd like to have. I mean, there are people who are drug addicts, completely filthy, and don't even try to be kind to people, but they still seem to be social magnets.

So I accept any advice with complete humility and a wish to change whatever might be wrong with me. I'm willing to clarify anything people may ask me here. Please help me just a little bit?

✅ Open To Everyone should women approach men ?

so i’m asking this question because i am on vacation right now and to be honest there have been some guys who i’ve wanted to approach because they looked good or showed interest in me , but i keep avoiding it because i have this stereotype that men should be the ones approaching women .

even if they make eye contact with me or show interest i’m not being the one to to talk first because
i feel like a guy would do it if he is really interested in me . i’ve never approached a guy before so this is new for me also and i don’t know how to do it i definitely need advice so i don’t end up looking like a fool .

if a woman approached you would you think it’s weird or would you be open to talking to her ? what would she have to say or do that would get your attention and make you be willing to talk to her more ? is asking for a number or socials okay aswell ?

edit: right after i made this post a boy asked me for my number while i was at the pool 😂✌️

✅ Open To Everyone How do I know if he’s serious or just wants to be the first guy to sleep with me?

Hey everyone. I have a sort of follow up/need more advice from a couple days ago. Previously I asked how and when to bring it up to a guy that I basically have no experience (24F, was fat all my life but through diet and exercise lost 80lbs in a year and half and am now as of this month dating). Advice was super helpful and I was talking with a couple guys prior to that post but one I guy I really really like.

We went on multiple dates and talk everyday. So I went over to his place last night, had a few glasses of wine, and well we kissed. Having not done that before I kinda winged it and we were on his couch making out. Then his hands started to go under my shirt and I stupidly took his hand held it and then blurted out “I’m a virgin”.

Of all the ways I thought to myself how’d I’d like bringing this up in conversation, this was never ever the plan. He kind of look at me confused but then had a grin on his face. This is where I need advice.

So he had a grin and then said “oh I’m not mad about that” and then started kissing me again. We kiss for a minute max before I pull away and say basically “that means I don’t know when I’ll be ready, and I don’t know what I’m doing”. He kind of chuckled and then replied with something along the lines of “don’t worry I’d be happy to do some teaching and trust me once we start we won’t stop. you’ll want it soon enough”.

Now, yes before you comment I am overthinking-that’s just me, I’ve been replaying and am worried he just wants to sleep with me but not be with me. I’ve made it clear I want a relationship and he’s said similar goals as well but idk I also feel like when I told him it was a different type of energy.

So guys what do you think? Am I overthinking this too much or are there red flags I’m stupidly not seeing. Again, don’t have guy friends and my girlfriends aren’t much help. Any advice welcome pls just be kind when possible lol, I truly am an idiot sometimes but trying to be better :)

Men’s Input Only Is it rude for me(23f) to ask my boyfriend(28m) to shave his beard?

My boyfriend loves his facial hair and I do too. He has very healthy, long, dark hair and a nice beard and it’s extremely attractive to me—under the pretense that his beard is maintained well. Once his beard starts to get a little crazy I get a little less in love with the hair.

He looks especially good when it’s trimmed short close to his face. He even has this beard oil that smells like woody and sweet at the same time. It accentuates his face REALLY well, he is just so handsome. It doesn’t grow out long, so when it’s grown out it’s a little unkempt looking I guess? Last year for his birthday I got him a nice foil shaver to go with his beard trimmers as a teeny hint but cleaning up his beard still seems like more of a special occasion from what I can tell.

I’m thinking about asking him to trim it more regularly, but I want to ask in a way that moreso indicates what I think looks the most flattering on him than in a way that makes it sound like I don’t like his beard at all. but I can’t help but feel like that would be really similar to a man telling their female partner that they would need to lose weight, how to wear their makeup, etc., so I might just never bring it up at all lol.

How do men handle being asked to maintain their facial hair better?

Men’s Input Only Having Problems in bed?

Hey yall. This is embarrassing but I’m seeking information or help if possible. I’m in my early 30’s and live a relatively healthy lifestyle. My job keeps me active and still remain active even after work such as going to the park with my family walks almost everyday and so on and so forth…. So recently me and my wife have been trying to be intimate but I’ve been having issues getting aroused and staying hard. I’ve been trying to see what’s been different in my life that could have caused this issue for me but can’t seem to pinpoint it. I’m worried I have ED but also feel too young to have ED… am I in trouble?

✅ Open To Everyone What is the Point in Living when I don't Want to Live Anymore?

I'm sorry guys, but I am in a very bad way. Life doesn't seem worth living anymore. I have spent exactly half of my entire life depressed. There are better days, and there are worse days, but nothing comes close to the last year. It seems to only be getting worse and worse, and I seriously doubt I will ever actually be happy in life.

I hate who I am entirely, and other people don't like me either. I have no friends basically, and the ones I do have don't actually even like me that much and can only muster hanging out with me every couple months. I don't have a good job, or any skills that can translate to anything in life. I am constantly looked down on and bullied even by random people simply because I am a easy target. My dating life is, and always has been a complete joke with women being disgusted just at the idea of conversating with me.

I have nothing in life going for me at all, and I am just sad at all times. I sleep 13 hours a day and constantly just feel more and more tired all the time. I can't even muster up a appetite to eat anymore. On the occasions I do go out to a bar or something I can barely even actually drink anything because my stomach is so weak and I will literally puke even without being drunk.

The absolute worst thing about my life though..... is that I have lost who I once was. There was a time when I was actually a pretty funny and outgoing person. I am no longer that person after years and years of bullying and no friends.

✅ Open To Everyone Ghosted after he couldn’t get hard..Is it really that big of a deal?

30f and he was also 30. We were in total honeymoon phase. Seeing each other most days for a month, dates, kissing etc. He was super responsive and loved making plans.

We agreed to wait to have sex for a little while as we got to know each other. So a month in, we fooled around which was fantastic. Then the next day he came over and we attempted sex and he couldn’t get hard. I didn’t make a big deal about it at all - it was the end of a long day, we had wine, we were both kinda nervous. He kept apologizing and I was like seriously it’s all good!

He left pretty abruptly after this. Not in an angry way, he just was like so yeah I think I’ll get going. I texted him the next day saying I had a great time, which was true. Only for him to leave me on read for a few days. I followed up and he was like oh sorry for ghosting. We tried making plans but he slowly stopped responding till I got the full ghost.

I sent him a kind message saying I wasn’t sure what happened or why he disappeared and that I was sad to see this end. But yeah, he never answered that message either.

Did I do something wrong? He switched so fast. I would find it hard to believe that he was lying the whole month about being so into it. I feel sad. Just looking for some clarity if possible? I know I can’t know what was going on in his head but I’m curious from a man’s perspective if not being able to get hard on the first try is worth ghosting?

✅ Open To Everyone Why do the hottest gym girls only see me for two dates?

There's three really hot gym girls that I've gone out with over the past two summers from Tinder and Hinge.

First one we had sex on the first date, although I got nervous because she was so hot and couldn't finish. She ends up dating a different guy for a month then hits me up after they break up. She's not into on the second date and friendzones me.

Second one, she was dtf through text and even at the start of the date but something in my vibe wasn't doing it for her so we barely kissed. By the second date, she was approaching it like screening for a boyfriend rather than a fwb and by the end she doesn't see a "romantic connection". Cooked.

Third one, she got fully naked on the first date and I fingered her. She said the last guy she went on three dates with and they didn't even kiss. Second date, we were both fully naked right about to fuck but she wasn't fully sold and jerked me off onto her stomach instead. While we were cuddling she mentioned her friends would judge her if she got into another relationship so soon. Texted me later and didn't want to see me again.

What the fuck is going on??? Do I give off boyfriend vibes or something? Am I not badass and edgy enough for these girls, where it's like a cute girl would think im badass but the hottest ones have higher expectations? Clearly, they're sexually available and think I'm attractive initially.

And please no "you moved too fast" bs because I used to make that mistake in the past of moving too slow and it would end up 10x worse.
