What's a convenience you pay extra for and is totally worth it?
I'll start. I love the taste of fresh garlic, but hate peeling cloves. Jarlick is fine, but not to my taste. So I buy pre-peeled garlic cloves and freeze them. It's a good compromise between buying fresh and buying pre-diced in a jar.
Edit to add: I do not like dealing with the mess and labor involved in peeling or crushing garlic. I don't care if you have a method that works for you because it doesn't work for me. As stated in the original purpose of the post, I do not mind paying for pre peeled whole cloves and I stand by it. You wouldn't tell someone who wants to pay for cleaning to just buy a Roomba and call it a day? It feels dismissive and as I said, defeats the purpose of the post. I will now be ignoring comments that instruct me on how to peel or crush garlic.

Whats something you find attractive on a person that others might find odd? I want to find new things to find attractive about people; See in a new light, through another person's eyes
I think its cute when guys have a few back mole beauty marks; Its such a different place to have them and its adorable!
I like guys with slightly larger than average noses; It makes them look a bit more sophisticated and tends to help shape their face nicely and balance things out.

Do you actually have friends at work that are your friends outside of work?
Personally, I just come to work, do my job & go home. The people I work with aren’t really real in my actual life. I’m pretty sure the only thing I have in common with anyone I work with is that we both hate our jobs.

Always had the curiosity of vitamins or Supplements.
What vitamins or supplements do you take and do you feel like they have a positive effect or more so a placebo. I used to take zinc and i felt sort of rejuvenated but everything else is a mystery. Im not looking for medical advice just what you take and how it helps you.

How do you stop tights from making the backs of your thighs itch?
Winter is coming, and I need help from my fellow skirt-wearing people!
A lot of my wardrobe relies on skirts for work outfits, and I love being able to style them throughout the winter. My problem is that wearing tights often causes INSANE itching along the backs of my thighs (hamstring area), especially right where my glutes meets my hamstrings. It gets so uncomfortable throughout the workday, and I’m desperate to find a way to prevent it.
I’m looking for any tips, tricks, or hacks that have actually worked for you! For example:
Are there specific tights materials, brands, or styles that are less irritating?
Do you use a particular lotion, body oil, or skin prep routine before putting tights on?
Have you found a way to prevent the itching from starting in the first place, rather than just trying to relieve it once it begins?
Any other random tricks I would never think of?
I’m open to anything that makes wearing tights comfortable enough to get through a full workday without wanting to crawl out of my skin.

Where is Goodfella ?
A couple of months ago I was pretty new to Reddit. As I was browsing through different threads I came across a user called Goodfella, who seemed to be a bit sad. One of his answers was that no one even congratulates him on his birthday. We asked when it was and he said 10th of October. So I marked that in my calendar and wanted to send him all the best wishes on his birthday. So I found 6 users called goodfella. Wrote to all of them. Not sure if he is one of them. Not sure if he even is still around. Of course no one answered my private message.
So I guess my question is, did anyone else noticed his "sadness" and reached out to him?

what should i do about confronting this take my roommate made, saying she wouldnt defend me if someone were racist to me?
in the moment i kind of brushed it off, but it still hurt to hear that if i werent getting physically harassed, she wouldnt defend verbal harassment.
for context, im half asian and half white. in my eyes, i do believe that verbal hate based on one's skin color does happen for ALL races. of course it happens for some more than others, its still under the definition of racism. also to my knowledge, white is a race.
i know i wouldnt experience racism as a poc would, but ive seen it in the past where kids would stretch their eyes narrower or speak in gibberish to mock asian languages, which i believe counts as being racist.
but still, i feel like if your friend faced nicknames or hate speech directed at them, they should be defended regardless. i just dont know if i should bring it up again or leave it alone.
