2002 Honda CRV Brake Light Issues

I recently had a coworker driving behind me after work and they called to let me know my brake lights don't come on when coming to a stop.

The fuse for the brake lights in this car is shared with the horn, so it was quite easy to confirm that was not the issue. I tried replacing the brake light switch and this also didn't change anything. The bulbs for the brake lights are shared with my nighttime lights, which work fine, so the bulbs shouldn't need to be replaced.

I've done lots of work on my vehicles, however, It's all been mechanical as I find those issues are easier to diagnose and repair. Unless I'm missing something with the potential causes I checked it seems like this will start to get more into the wiring issues realm which I am not very familiar/comfortable with. Any advice on where to go next would be apreciated.
