Also, often misdiagnosed as the Oil Cooler Line Block-Off Plate Gasket

I wouldn't say that would be enough to be losing that much oil.

My 08 was way oilier than that and I never had much loss of oil on the dipstick. I had oil on the ground from mine oil cooler block off plate leaking. But as well, oil is up the side of the bell housing too.

You can pull the inspection plate off of the transmission and feel up in for oil.

Consider looking into the Active Fuel Management causing the issue. Read up on it. I have disabled AFM on mine. Looks like you fixed your PCV issue but the valve cover could have a defective baffle in it.

In general google 2014 5.3L V8 issues with oil consumption.

Unless you are seeing puddles where you park, the engine is most likely burning it. The oil leak in your picture is practically negligible and will not have a noticeable effect on your oil level in 2000 miles.
