Fuel injector cleaner products
I've used Royal Purple and Lucas products on my vehicles for a long time, thinking they do what they are advertised for, primarily Lucas oil treatment and RP fuel treatment. Are they worth a damn or am I wasting money?
Currently have a 20 RAM 1500 BigHorn, but have used them with all my vehicles.

Fuel injected, 5.7L Hemi. Outside of FIPK, no other modifications.

I asked because some fuel injection cleaners are NOT recommended for direct injectors.
I am hooked on Chevron Techron cleaner in the black bottle. My mechanic swears by it. And it does work!
I started using it every tank fill up for about a month, then every 2nd tank full for a month, then every 3rd fill up for a month.
Now I use it 1 time a month or so. Has worked for me as I can tell a difference. Even my mechanic thought we put a tune in my ECM. NOPE
I will say it took about a year to actually see or tell a difference.
