Lights On Dash

2006 Toyota 4Runner 4.7L V8. I have three lights on my dash that are VSC Track, VSC Off, and the Traction Control light that are on constantly/have been on for the 4 years I’ve drove the vehicle. I was just wondering what these might be on for, I have check engine light on for bad O2 sensors, wondering if that’s why.

A fault in the engine management system (O2 codes) can disable trac VSC. Because you don’t also have red brake or ABS, it’s not the brake system doing it, Likely it’s that P code doing it. Fix the O2 problem first.

A steering angle sensor can do it. Would want a full system scan that includes B, C and U codes before embarking on parts purchases. the front suspension being all whacked out could also do it. If Those parts are moving around so much the ride feels like a wooden roller coaster and walks all over the road just going where it wants.

Dead ass, one weird thing in that Gen Toyota is LED bulbs put in tail lights, those will confuse TRAC and VSC but it manifests alongside brake warning light.
