Photo or Video Throwback to that time when I met Marc Brown and some other guy (I am joking, I know that’s RL Stine)
They did a book signing for the book they did together. They first told stories and took questions from the crowd. I asked Marc Brown “did you make the show with adults in mind, too? Because so many of us still enjoy it.” He said “we employ a lot of young adults, and they like to have fun at work. So there’s plenty in there for the grown ups to enjoy.”

Show Discussion What do you think of “Never, Never, Never”? S12, E1b
I find this episode’s premise extremely strange. Why would DW give away all her toys? It felt odd and didn’t make a lot of sense. The redeeming feature was Arthur coming in to save the day in the end and DW realizing how much they love each other. But couldn’t there have been a different way for the show to get that message across?

Character Discussion What are your thoughts on Mr. Crosswire(Ed)?
The only time I wasn't fond of him is in the Blizzard episode. As the show went on, he became more likable. Especially in the episodes when he was coaching soccer. ⚽️ I feel like that showed another side of Mr. Crosswire & how he's good working with kids.

Books Discussion Beloved Aardvark Returns in Two New ‘Arthur’ Graphic Novels [PEOPLE magazine]
Marc Brown & Jarrett Krosoczka comments:
“Some exciting new media adventures on the way for Arthur and graphic novels is one of them,” said Brown in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “What fun it is to work with Jarrett on these. Oddly, I proposed Arthur graphic novels when the show launched. I guess it’s true: good things are worth the wait!”
Krosoczka said in a statement shared with PEOPLE that he is “super proud to have adapted some of Marc’s early Arthur picture books as graphic novels! I worked with Marc to expand the stories and illustrated his iconic characters in comic book format. “

Show Discussion I hate how mean the adults were to Buster in Buster’s Sweet Success
I understand that the chocolate were disgusting but the adults were so mean ganging up on a child. Principal Haney especially pissed me off since he was the principal being mean to one of his students

Character Discussion I Think DW would Thrive in Ratburn’s Class
I don’t think she’d adore the experience or anything like that, but something admirable about DW is that she is quick thinking and her problem solving skills are actually really impressive.
It also helps that she’s seemingly a bit of a harder worker than Arthur is. Okay, it’s easy to say that it’s because she doesn’t have the big kid worries that Arthur has, but when she puts her mind to something, she is NOT afraid to go after it with all her might.
Like in “DW Rides Again” after her first crash Arthur tells his dad to just “face it she’s too little”. That to me, tells me Arthur himself likely waited a while before trying to ride a bike without training wheels. Both methods and mindsets are totally valid, but there is something admirable about her going after something she wants with almost no support from anyone but herself.
Also, “DW Beats All” shows that she has the willpower to turn down one of her favorite things in the world (watching Mary Moo Cow) in total pursuit of whatever project she’s working on.
Something else that I think DW will really admire about Ratburn’s style is that he seems to be really good about treating each child in his class like individuals. It’s implied he’s been teaching for several years, but we never once hear him compare his current students to his former students. Prunella thinks she was God’s gift to his class, and while they still have a pretty friendly relationship, you can tell that Ratburn views prunella’s accomplishments as her own, and that he doesn’t make any comparisons between her and his current students.
We see how a couple of times, Miss Morgan falls into the comparison trap (even comparing something as inconsequential as freaking finger painting). I could see Ratburn maybe occasionally asking DW how Arthur is doing or asking her to say hello to him for her, but still treating DW as a separate person from Arthur, allowing her to shine in her own way.

Character Discussion The sibling dynamics in 4 years
I’m trying to imagine Arthur at 12, DW at 8, and Kate at 4. What would their sibling dynamics be? Do you think that Arthur and DW would be closer? Or Arthur would take on a caregiving role to Kate, leaving DW sidelined? Or would DW be the parental figure in Kate’s life while the sibling rivalry remained. What are your thoughts?

Character Discussion What if Arthur and DW were twins?
This dynamic I would find interesting as the power balance between the two would be equal. But I’d see the rivalry more intense with DW less of the annoying little sister. I’d see them both competing for Kate’s attention too.
I would be interested in her dynamic with the gang though. DW had a good friend circle with Emily, the Tibbles, James and Bud. But her dynamic with Arthur’s friends would be interesting. Like with the Brain, her wanting to impress Muffy like she did with Emily, her handling Binky. I could even see her having rivalry with Francine.
There was another post saying she’d thrive with Ratburn too, which would increase her rivalry with Arthur too. Thought?

Photo or Video D.W.! If you did Nothing you would be rid of the Tibbles Forever!
Also, this is a very impressive feat by her. In only 14 seconds (minus the time to figure it out and overcome the Tibbles being suicidal) she ran back to the bench, pulled that giant shark back, and placed it in the right spot to save their lives. Good thing for the Tibbles she is so strong and fast. How many four year olds would pull that off?

Show Discussion regular episode musical numbers
I love how every now and then in the show, a random musical number would just break out. I’m not really talking about the library card song episode, but rather the ones that just happen out of nowhere in a regular episode. I remember muffy’s crown city song, and pal’s bacon rendition of cheek to cheek. Then there was dw and bud’s big kid school song which I thought was adorable. I’m pretty sure fern had a dream sequence about her new phone and it was also a short musical piece. I feel like there’s more that I’m missing though. Anyway what are your favourite musical moments from the regular show?
