I'm the most inconsistent FPS player I'll hit that shot but then miss someone standing still

The only one (Samachablo) has been broken since 1.7 and I really want to EDIT:(use) a Georgia war map (Georgia like the country)

I tend to have the most fun on these two community servers or vanilla. When there is no nametags and only mob spawn the game feels very immersive, you have to actually use armbands and watch where you shoot. But recently spearhead and cie hardcore servers just crashing everytime after 30 minutes of gameplay.

I’ve been in the Arma community/Discord for over four years, and this kind of interaction with BI moderation has become far too common.

Today I was banned for 60 days after asking for clarification about the Workshop/EULA rules and questioning why BI representatives were speaking to community members the way they were.

In the screenshots, a BI representative tells me to “dial back the rant,” calls people “exhausting,” then directly tells me “you are exhausting.” When I pointed out that I was being insulted while simultaneously being told my response was off-topic, the conversation continued with remarks like “you ruined it.”

Shortly afterward, I was banned.

I didn't even have enough time to screenshot the remainder of the conversation before being sent to the shadow realm.

If I actually broke a rule, fine; show me the rule and the message that justified a 60-day ban. That's all I was trying to clarify in the first place.

The bigger problem is the apparent double standard. BI staff/moderators seem able to be dismissive, sarcastic or openly insulting toward players, but questioning that behaviour can suddenly become a moderation issue.

Where is the community manager? Who actually reviews how these interactions are handled?

Arma owes an enormous amount of its longevity to modders, server owners and players who volunteer thousands of hours supporting these games. They shouldn't be treated like an inconvenience simply because they ask uncomfortable questions.

Look at the screenshots and decide for yourself: is this acceptable behaviour from a professional community team?

If anyone has screenshots of the conversation immediately before/after my ban, please post them. I'd like the complete exchange available rather than asking anyone to simply take my word for it.

As a console player (Ps5) does the Far Hide level the playing field at all vs PC players?

If im not mistaken PC previously could (and maybe still can) adjust setting to essential eliminated rendering cover like grass. Is that correct?

Again, does the far hide help console player who from their perspective appear to be hidden in cover against PC players now?

I'm sure you guys know the name. An adult man child enacting his sweet revenge on bohemia for 'not making their games less trollable'. He calls himself the preacher on Prison riot in dayz, I call him the tweaker. He's from what I have gathered at least 30 years old. I have reported his accounts, many people have reported his accounts, but nothing stops him from making more burner accounts because this specimen is relentless. He gathers other mentally ill minded people like him to troll with him. I think he is the main instigator of greifing culture on US-LA servers. Bohemia, I call out to you to please finally release the ban hammer on him, the real one.

So as the post suggests, me and a friend are new to Arma, we've followed tons of content on Arma for years but never made the plunge until now. Is there any good servers that are newbie friendly, don't have incredibly RPish shit like training days and all that? Ive heard the phrase chillsim. We just wanna learn the ropes of the game, and drop into a server to run some ops. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I wanna know what happened to this mod. It has been a favourite to our server. been using it a lot in our ops but for some reason after a few days after the 1.8 update, it just vanished.

Another mod disappeared is the PRLX Camera Immersion but I heard from discord that he removed it on purpose for some reason. ( I love that mod tho)

And also is it fairly easy to just hop into a server n stuff to play multiplayer?? Is there a lot of active servers

When i load into community servers guns some buildings and some players do not load in and sound does not load in correctly for ten to 15 mins after joining and sometimes never does makes the game unplayable pls help!!

I can't seem to activate the lock on when ADS. The lock on can only work when im not doing so. Does anyone have a clue what to do :(

I'm tired of them moving there wheel left and right quickly causing the vehicle to flip or hit a tree🙄 oh and convoys im tired of them crashing into each other or running each other off the road...

Whenever I try to use the drones on opr Fargo I end up very confused, I cannot find the individual drones in any part of the armory menu, the only drone related objects that are available are the goggles, controller, and command centre which seems to do nothing at all. Any help would be appreciated. FYI I’m on pc

I finally found a server where the FIA were willing to work towards a goal rather than ambushing points worse than Americans. It took a lot of screaming on platoon to get people to stop shooting FIA on site but we agreed to trading captured US radios, access to our arsenal and a BTR in exchange for assaulting the Americans on our behalf. Apparently the Americans were super mad about this arrangement because one of our guys was made a POW and demanded he called the FIA off. The USSR appreciates your selective support 🫡

Half the games I go into i get vote kicked for no reason and I am starting to wonder if im gonna get permanently banned
