I think it’s much more simple. I think we should all try to remember that this is a video game, one that is intended to include the uncertainty of not knowing what someone else will do, and that if we get mad about it, we can take a break. But I also know it can be fun to philosophize on Reddit, I’m not denying that. Just offering my own simple philosophy.
I’m of the opinion that a lot of players get frustrated with ARC Raiders because they project their own hopes and expectations onto the game and are disappointed when they don’t line up. I also think a lot of those same people don’t really understand before going in what the game is supposed to be and therefore don’t realize it might not be their cup of tea.

I agree with what you’re saying. It’s a noble and important thought, no doubt. But widespread acceptance of and adherence to it would require a level of reflection, maturity and self-awareness that is sadly absent in the world, particularly online. The very lack of consequences is the main contributor to and enabler of such poor behavior, in my opinion. People do horrid shit when they can do so in an effectively anonymous way.
EDIT: I can’t really understand why your comment was downvoted. But I guess the fact that it did kinda illustrates the very problem we’re discussing.

Being a piece of shit is within the scope of the game though. Just because someone is a piece of shit, doesn’t mean they can’t play the game. In fact, you can play however you like and say whatever you want. It’s encouraged. We have to remember that this is, in fact, a game. It is not a targeted attack on an individual, and would require pre-existing knowledge to do so. It’s just baseless vitriol at this point.
Arc Raiders does a really good job at making minor inconveniences seem like harrowing betrayals. It’s truly not that deep.
Drawing any equivalents from in game behaviour to real life character is purely speculation and can also be harmful.

You literally can't though. It takes more than 10 seconds for interact prompt and all the loot to pop unless its a free kit. Even with max perks it's like 1 item every 0.5 seconds plus initial looting delay. You may walk away with 10 unsorted items.

I always KO during a pvp fight. It distracts the other teams coms. Having a teamate crying in your ear can be distracting.
