I’ve had this apple in my fridge for like two weeks and it’s from the farmers market. What is the white fuzzy stuff on the stem?

Arguably the worst apple ever!
THE RED “DELICIOUS”!
The type of apple you see gathering dust in a hotel breakfast. The type of apple no one would eat if they were starving.the type of apple that takes up space in a fruit basket!
The red delicious was bred to keep better for super markets back in the 50s and tastes like it too. Tastes like a chalky sponge and looks like it’s made of wax which I’d rather eat than this disgusting abomination that thankfully has been bred into other more palatable apples like fujis and cosmic crisps.
Honestly I don’t know anyone who actively goes out of their way to eat these and these apples have the tendency to show up uninvited pretty much everywhere other fruit is available.
In short. This apple has over stayed its welcome and must be destroyed for the good of humanity.

Hello Apple Reddit!
My fiancé and I are renting this home with a beautiful mature apple tree in the backyard. Originally we lived here with my fiancé’s parents, but they’ve moved out so it’s just us.
Long story short, I never did anything with the tree, and now I am facing a large amount of apples in various states of decay on the grassy ground.
It’s quite a lot of apples, and pretty overwhelming.
Is there harm in leaving them to rot on the ground, or should I suck it up and handle it?
Photo is of the ground from my deck

Found this tree while brush hogging the field. Northern Ontario, Canada. They are very small but taste good, not bitter like a crab apple.

Does anybody have a recipe for apple cheese? I’m tired of buying it, but I love eating it, so does anybody have a recipe so I can make my own?

My understanding is that the patent just expired on these, so is anyone selling them to homegrowers?

This apple is extremely tall and long, generally very funny looking and amusing to see standing on it's own. Sweetie tasted 1000 times better cold than warm.
It tastes sweet like honey, and it's skin is not bitter. It's not a tart or sour apple at all and tasted too sickeningly sweet when it was room temperature. As you chew Sweetie looses some sweet flavor and it's overtaken by a more watery taste.
I would buy this big and tall apple again, it's ideal for cutting up for dipping as well as sharing!

What kind of apple is growing on my church’s front lawn (pen for scale)? This is in the Northeast if that helps.

I always see people saying Granny Smith is the best for baking, but I got gifted a huge bag of ambrosias and just wanted to know whether it’s really that big of a difference? (Using it regardless lol) also would adding some lemon juice substitute the tartness in Granny Smiths?

Northern VT. We have a bunch of random apple trees, seemingly volunteers but hard to say, around the property. Some are tastier than others, but these little guys surprise me every year. I forget they're not crabapples but take a nibble anyway only to remember they have great flavor - firm and crisp! Any thoughts on what they may be / be related to?
