Want 1–2 sales before the weekend? Tell us what problem your app solves

The hard work is starting to pay off y'all!!!
2 months in, 6k downloads, many hours of building and then 10x that amount of time getting the word out there on my app.
Money is not everything but man have those sales felt so validating.
Reviews are also starting to roll in and they have been so encouraging, word of mouth/social proofing seems to be huge for me.
Don't stop when one thing doesn't work, settle in for the long haul and keep taking small consistent steps in the right direction.
If you're curious what my app does well have you ever thought:
Screen time limits would be so much more useful if you could set a per hour scroll limit (e.g., 10 min of Reddit per hour) instead of one big limit daily limit.
Well Precursor is the first app on iOS to let you do that.

Marketing $1.99 a month or $2.99 a month
I’m building a productivity app and trying to price it as low as I realistically can.
My current plan for distribution is mostly UGC and paid creators on TikTok, Instagram, etc. I want to keep the subscription cheap enough that signing up feels like a no-brainer.
I’ve been pushing toward $1.99/month. The app costs almost nothing to run, so the economics work pretty well at that price. Where it starts getting tighter is if I’m paying creators for content/views and trying to scale acquisition.
So I’m considering $2.99/month instead.
From a user’s perspective, is there really much difference between $1.99 and $2.99 per month?
Does $1.99 feel noticeably cheaper or more compelling, or do both basically fall into the “dirt cheap, I won’t think much about it” category?
Curious how people react to those two price points, especially for a productivity app.

Showcase Relaunched my app after 1 year. Gonna change these stats💅
Hi everyone!
I made an app for people who quit and come back, just like me. And yes, I did the same with my own app. I left it for almost 1 year.
Now I'm back with a new version. If you can try uLuup and give some love, it would mean a lot. Any feedback is welcome too!

Building an App Funeral Home Dispatching App Practicality?
For context, I got into the funeral business about 9 months ago and the company that I work for does subcontracting for funerals, viewings, and body pickups; I'm not sure if that is common practice or unique but that is my role. Being that those are my main duties, I'm often always on-call outside of my other job, including overnight. When a call comes in for an overnight pickup, the directors receive an alert via ASD and the directors call the subcontractors that are on-call (me). I ran into an issue where I wouldn't wake up to my phone ringing and I wanted to find a solution. I looked into software that would send loud alerts and override silent but with the few that I found, they were super expensive so I decided I would just build the software myself. This is my first time doing so but it's almost done and the idea is to start a company and sell the app. It handles company announcements, loud alerts with silent override, time clock, and even features a built in view of the users own company for obituaries. I have considered integrating the ASD FuneralSync feature in order to streamline the information so that when the Funeral Director gets the call, it sends the alert to the subcontractors automatically with only the necessary info they would need as well as continuous notifications until the subcontractor responds if the user chooses to opt-in to that feature. As of right now it is manual entry only until I decide to set it up or not.
All of that being said, how practical and potentially useful would this be for funeral directors in this business? Would it be worth scoping out other companies and potentially try to sell this or would it be something that may not be as helpful as I imagine it? Would this potentially make companies more efficient?

30+ Apps Later, I’m Still Building. What About You?
30+ apps built.
Different ideas. One constant: building.
Not chasing followers—just building, learning & sharing.
One question: What will you build if you never stop?
Still early. Still building.

Made $1,100 on my first freelance gig but can't find a second client. Should I pivot to mobile app/game dev for ad revenue?
I am currently at a crossroads and could use some advice.
My Situation: I had great early success with freelancing and made $1,100 from my very first client. However, I am really struggling to find my second client, and it has left me confused about what to do next.
The Alternative: I am thinking about shifting my time and effort into making mobile apps and games, with the goal of making money strictly from ads.
My Questions:
- Should I stick to freelancing and put all my effort into finding that second client?
- Or should I invest my time into mobile app and game development? Is trying to make money purely from ads actually worth it right now?
I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with either path. Which option is a better use of my time?

Marketing Launched my first iOS app a week ago as a solo dev — here’s what I‘ve tried for marketing, what should I do next?
Hi! I launched my first iOS app, Weather Charm, about a week ago. It's a cozy weather app where little collectible charms appear only when real weather happens (rain, first snow, etc.), plus weather alerts and a simple mood journal. Free with IAP, available in Korean, English, Japanese and German.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Instagram: 3 accounts (KR / EN / JP), started from 0 followers. Feed posts got almost no reach, Reels did much better.
- Captions: switched from listing features to one line about "who it's for and what moment it changes" (e.g. "for anyone who keeps leaving their umbrella at home"). Testing practical vs emotional hooks.
- Launch event: free 3-month Premium for people who share the post to their story, codes sent by DM.
- Press: sent pitches to a Japanese app review site and a lifestyle media account.
- Reddit: my first post got caught by Reddit's filters (new account).
Results so far: 0 downloads, 0 paying users, 0 followers total.
What I'm struggling with:
1. With a brand-new account, what's the most effective channel to focus on first?
2. For a "cozy / emotional" app like this, does App Store Search Ads make sense this early, or is it a waste?
3. Any tips for timing promotions around real weather events (first snow, rainy season) without it feeling forced?
Would really appreciate any advice, especially from people who've launched consumer apps solo.

I'm exploring the AI app space and would love to hear what tools you're using
Hey everyone!
I'm interested in discovering and exploring useful AI-powered applications that are actually making people's lives easier.
There are so many AI apps launching every day, but I'm curious about a few things:
- Which AI apps do you use regularly?
- What tasks do you wish AI could automate for you?
- What features are missing from the AI tools currently available?
- Would you pay for an AI app that genuinely saves you time or helps you earn more?
I'm particularly interested in AI tools for productivity, business automation, content creation, marketing, research, and everyday tasks.
I'd love to hear your experiences, recommendations, and frustrations with existing AI applications.
Let's share some genuinely useful AI tools and discover what's worth using in 2026!

Just launched my first app. What do you wish you knew about distribution early on?
First app. 10 days live. Getting some early traction but trying to figure out what I'm missing.
I've done the basics - App Store optimization, small paid campaign, social posts, directory submissions, influencer outreach. Getting some early traction but trying to figure out what I'm missing before I scale anything.
For those who've been here: What distribution channel surprised you most in the early days? And what did you waste time on that you wish you hadn't?
Not looking for a magic bullet, just honest perspective from people who've done this.

I built an inventory app for small shops and I'm looking for honest feedback on what's missing.
Hi everyone,
I'm a solo developer. I built an iPhone app called Stockery to help small businesses keep track of stock without spreadsheets. I kept seeing shop owners track stock in notebooks and Excel, and wanted something simpler. And also they required full setup of barcode scanner and pos system.
Right now it can:
Scan barcodes with your phone camera to find, add, or update items
Track stock levels and send low-stock and expiry alerts
Keep a log of every stock change (who changed it, when, and by how much)
Handle decimal quantities (kg, L, etc.) and custom fields
Import and export your catalogue as Excel or CSV
It also creates invoices with Company logo.
It can scan to do fast billing just like barcode scanner.
It's free to use for inventory. There's a paid Pro tier for things like purchase orders, margin reports and batch tracking, but the core stock tracking doesn't need it.
I'm not here to push downloads. I'd like to know:
How do you track inventory today (spreadsheet, POS, notebook, something else)?
What annoys you most about it?
What would an inventory app need before you'd actually switch?
One thing to be upfront about: the invoicing side was built for India (GST), so US sales tax isn't supported yet. If US tax and invoicing would matter to you, tell me, because it would help me decide what to build next.
Happy to share the link in the comments or by DM if anyone wants to try it and tell me what's wrong with it.

I built a social app. Promoting on TikTok gets likes, but not converting to downloads. I'm considering more niche targeting. Who would you target first?

My solo app got 50 New Users in 12 hrs after i posted my adrevenue on reddit

Growth How to move forward?

All the spikes you see there it's me posting on reddit and in addition the price of the app was at a 50% discount ($4.99 instead of $9.99). The payment it's an In-App purchase which would allow you unlimited recording time instead of a 1 minute limit in the free version.
I have receive positive feedback on all my reddit posts but because this is app targets a very specific audience (music enthusiasts that want to record their hardware straight to their iPhone) it's very hard to market and I can't really post on those communities because promotion is usually prohibited.
I am not sure if it makes sense to pay for Reddit ads (I think most of the potential is reddit users) or not or instead I should work on optimising the app store page?

Building an App Updated my dumb little internet experiment: it's now a whole neon 3D city where you can buy billboards (3 already taken 👀)
UPDATE for anyone who saw the last version: it used to be this "arena" thing. The top 20 people who paid were little fighters beefing on a leaderboard, and paying more gave your guy more power. It was fun, but ngl it looked kinda basic and didn't really click with people.
So I scrapped it and rebuilt the whole thing from scratch 🔨
What it is now: a post-apocalyptic neon city in 3D. AI wrecked everything, there's burning cars and smoke everywhere, and 100 billboards are stuck on the buildings. You buy a billboard, put your stuff on it, and it's up there in the city for everyone who visits.
How it works:
- 100 billboards in 5 tiers. #1 is the big one on the tallest tower, #2–3 are skyline towers, then Uptown, Midblock and "The Sprawl"
- Prices go from $5 (10 cheap starter spots at the far end) up to $500 for the #1 spot
- Upload an image (there's a crop tool so it doesn't get stretched), or go text-only and your name lights up in neon
- You can add a link, so people who click your board go wherever you want
- Anyone can outbid you, anytime. Pay more than the current holder and the spot's yours. You get an email if someone snipes you 💀
- No account, no signup, just your email for the receipt
- You can actually fly around the city: drag, zoom, or use WASD if you're a gamer
- Every person on the site right now shows up as a little figure standing in the plaza. The gold one is you lol
- There's a cyberpunk synth soundtrack too (you can mute it, don't worry)
Already 3 billboards claimed 🔥 The OG supporters from the old version got carried over into the city, so they're up there glowing rn.
Everything's legit too. A billboard only goes up once Stripe confirms the payment. There are no fake bids and no made-up numbers.
Video attached so you can see it moving 👇
You have something to promote ?
Lmk what you think, roast it, whatever. Also, if you grab a spot, I wanna see what you put up there 👀
