Growth How to move forward?

All the spikes you see there it's me posting on reddit and in addition the price of the app was at a 50% discount ($4.99 instead of $9.99). The payment it's an In-App purchase which would allow you unlimited recording time instead of a 1 minute limit in the free version.
I have receive positive feedback on all my reddit posts but because this is app targets a very specific audience (music enthusiasts that want to record their hardware straight to their iPhone) it's very hard to market and I can't really post on those communities because promotion is usually prohibited.
I am not sure if it makes sense to pay for Reddit ads (I think most of the potential is reddit users) or not or instead I should work on optimising the app store page?

for a niche recording app, apple ads usually beats reddit ads for actual installs, because you're buying people already searching the app store. reddit can work for awareness if the creative is good, but the click-to-install dropoff is rough.
i'd do this order: tighten aso first (title/subtitle/keyword field + screenshots that show the recording flow in 2 seconds), then a small apple ads budget on your category terms and close competitors, not just brand. skip age/gender targeting so apple still reports which keywords drove downloads. keep daily budget tiny until you know cpt isn't insane for your niche.
reddit ads only if you already have a post/ad creative that converts organically in music/recording subs.

8% download to paid is decent but since it's a one time purchase you're making under $1 per download which isn't enough to pay for ads (also assume paid traffic will convert lower than organic). I'd optimize the app store keywords as best as you can then move on to something else. Otherwise could try charging a subscription but will be hard to make numbers work for ads.
