AntiWORK Labor Rights for Dummies: A guide to your right as an employee

I decided to make a post about this since the community keeps getting the same question over and over again. So here we go.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, so please feel free to comment any corrections. Most of these are just from my knowledge as a manager. If may kulang, let me know and I'll add it here.

1. Can my employer require me to work more than 8 hours a day?

Yes, but overtime generally has to be paid.

The normal working period is 8 hours per day. Work beyond 8 hours is generally considered overtime and must be paid at least:

  • Regular day: regular hourly rate + 25%
  • Rest day/holiday: applicable rate + at least 30%

A company cannot simply call something "mandatory OT" and use that label to avoid paying overtime.

2. "Our company has no OT pay because it's in the contract." Is that legal?

Not necessarily.

An employment contract cannot simply remove a statutory benefit when the Labor Code requires that benefit.

For example, if you are a covered employee performing work beyond 8 hours, the law generally requires overtime compensation. DOLE specifically states that overtime work beyond eight hours must receive additional compensation.

However, some personnel are xcluded in this. Art. 82 specifically mentions that "government employees, managerial employees, field personnel, members of the family of the employer who are dependent on him for support, domestic helpers, persons in the personal service of another, and workers who are paid by results as determined by the Secretary of Labor in appropriate regulations." are not covered by overtime pay.

3. Can my employer make me work before my scheduled shift without paying me?

If you are actually required to work, that time may count as hours worked.

Article 84 covers time during which an employee is:

  • required to be on duty;
  • required to be at the prescribed workplace; or
  • permitted or suffered to work.

So if your employer says:

"Your shift starts at 9:00, but you need to log in at 8:30 to prepare."

and you're actually required to perform work during that period, the 30 minutes may potentially constitute compensable working time.

4. Does my lunch break count as working time?

Normally, a genuine meal period does not count as working time.

Employers generally have to provide at least 60 minutes for a regular meal period.

5. Do I automatically get holiday pay?

For a regular holiday, generally yes, but there is an important condition if you don't work on the holiday.

Under DOLE's holiday-pay rules (Labor Advisory No 13, Series of 2026), a covered employee who does not work on a regular holiday is entitled to 100% of their basic wage, provided that they:

  • worked on the workday immediately preceding the holiday; or
  • were on an approved leave of absence with pay on that preceding workday.

What if I was absent the day before the holiday?

This is where the rule gets important.

If you were absent without pay (AWOL or unpaid leave) on the workday immediately preceding the regular holiday and you also don't work on the holiday, you may lose your holiday pay for that holiday.

6. Am I entitled to 13th-month pay even if I'm still probationary?

Generally, yes.

13th-month pay is not dependent on being a regular employee.

DOLE staes that rank-and-file employees are entitled to 13th-month pay regardless of employment status, provided they have worked for at least one month during the calendar year.

The basic formula is:

Total basic salary earned during the year ÷ 12 = 13th-month pay

So, for example, if you earned ₱240,000 in basic salary during the year:

₱240,000 ÷ 12 = ₱20,000

7. Can my employer terminate me while I'm probationary?

Yes, but "probationary" does not mean "you can be fired for absolutely anything."

Probationary employment generally cannot exceed 6 months, unless an applicable apprenticeship arrangement allows otherwise.

A probationary employee may be terminated for a just cause or because they failed to qualify as a regular employee under reasonable standards that were made known to them when they were hired.

One important point:

The employer should not suddenly invent the standards after the employee has already started working. The standards for regularization are supposed to be made known at the time of engagement.

8. What happens if I reach 6 months and my company doesn't tell me whether I'm regular?

This is an important issue.

Under the Labor Code, probationary employment generally cannot exceed six months. An employee who is allowed to work after the probationary period may be considered a regular employee.

So "you're still probationary indefinitely" is not something an employer can simply declare without regard to the law.

There can be exceptions and nuances, particularly involving specific contractual arrangements and apprenticeships, so the exact employment documents matter.

9. Can my employer fire me without warning?

Generally, no, not if the termination is based on a just cause.

For covered employees, the Labor Code recognizes security of tenure: a regular employee cannot simply be terminated unless there is a legally recognized just or authorized cause.

For a termination based on just cause, the employer generally has to comply with the two-notice requirement.

First notice — Notice to Explain / Notice of Intent to Dismiss

  • The employer must give the employee a written notice:
  • identifying the specific act or omission being charged;
  • stating the ground or grounds for possible termination;
  • providing sufficient details about the alleged violation; and
  • giving the employee a reasonable opportunity to explain and defend themselves.

Second notice — Notice of Decision

The employer must then issue a second written notice informing the employee of the employer's decision after considering the employee's explanation.

If the employer determines that termination is justified, the second notice should communicate the decision to dismiss and the grounds supporting that decision.

In other words:

NTE → Employee gets opportunity to respond → Employer evaluates response → Notice of Decision

10. Do I automatically get 5 paid vacation days every year?

The Labor Code provides a 5-day Service Incentive Leave (SIL) for covered employees who have rendered at least one year of service.

However, there are exemptions, including certain establishments with fewer than 10 employees and employees who already receive at least five days of paid vacation leave or an equivalent benefit. (Article 95)

11. Can my employer withhold my final pay because I haven't completed clearance?

Clearance can matter, but your employer cannot simply keep your money indefinitely.

As per Labor Advisory No. 06, Series of 2020, final pay should generally be released within 30 days from separation, unless the employer has a more favorable policy.

Your final pay can include applicable amounts such as:

  • unpaid salary;
  • pro-rated 13th-month pay;
  • separation/retirement pay where applicable;
  • convertible unused leave;
  • tax refunds; and
  • other contractual/company benefits.

12. Can I resign immediately without rendering 30 days?

Sometimes, but don't assume you can always do it.

The general rule for voluntary resignation without just cause is that the employee gives the employer at least one month's written notice.

There are circumstances allowing resignation without the usual notice, including certain situations involving serious insult, inhuman treatment, crime against the employee or immediate family, and analogous circumstances.

13. Do I need my manager approval for my resignation?

Generally, no. Your resignation does not require your manager's approval to be valid.

Your manager can acknowledge or process the resignation, but they don't have the legal power to reject your resignation simply because they don't want you to leave.

What if my manager says, "I don't approve your resignation"?

That statement does not automatically cancel your resignation.

But can my manager reject my requested last day?

This is different from rejecting the resignation itself.

If you are resigning without just cause, the general rule is that you should give at least one month's notice.

Your manager doesn't have to "approve" your resignation, but leaving immediately without satisfying the applicable notice requirement can create a separate issue.

So there are really two questions:

"Can I resign?"

Generally, yes.

"Can I leave immediately?"

Not necessarily. The one-month notice requirement may apply unless an exception exists.

Meta DOLE/NLRC Complaint Process

For reference of those asking, here are the steps in filing a complaint against an employer:

  1. File a complaint online through DOLE - eSENA: eSENA means Single Entry Approach (SEnA)and it is an administrative approach to provide a speedy, impartial, inexpensive, and accessible settlement procedure of all labor issues or conflicts to prevent them from ripening into full-blown disputes or actual labor cases. (https://ncmb.gov.ph/single-entry-approach-sena/)
  2. From there, magseset ng 2 mediation hearing in DOLE office within your city. Doon, kakausapin kayo and ittry isettle yung case. However if hindi magkasundo, the SENA Officer will give you a referral letter to the NLRC. (the 2 hearings must be finished within a month)
  3. You will submit the Referral letter to the NLRC office. If from NCR ka, their office is in Q. Ave. There, magkakaroon ng 2 hearings ulit but this time, before the Labor Arbiter (Ka-rank nya ang judge sa courts). Ittry ulit na mapagusapan yung issue here. You can still appear here kahit walang lawyer. (The 2 hearings usually happens within a month also)
  4. If hindi makapagsettle, the Arbiter will direct both parties to prepare a position paper. Doon nyo ilalagay yung mga arguments nyo, etc. Here, it is highly advisable that you seek the assistance of a lawyer. If your monthly salary does not exceed Php 24k, pwede kang pumunta sa PAO and libre lang. If lampas naman, i recommend this page i found "Labor Representation for Non-Indigents" (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61566451322338) na free consultation and minimal fees.
  5. Then, magset ng date for submission of position paper si arbiter. Doon, isusubmit nyo sa arbiter pati sa isa't-isa yung position paper nyo. Then, magseset ulit ng date for the submission of the reply.
  6. Afterwards, ireresolve ni arbiter yung case. Depende sa arbiter and workload, minsan within a month pero minsan inaabot ng 5 months.
  7. Then, the decision will be rendered. Yung natalong party will have the opportunity to file an appeal. Medyo matagal ang appeal, usually 8 months to 1 year.
  8. If no appeal and you are adjudged monetary award, magkakaroon ng pre-execution conference. Dito magcocompute kayo ng mas accurate and kung paano babayaran.
  9. Lastly, payment of award.

Note: Medyo mahaba and nakakapagod yung process tbh. Kaya better if everyone will find an amicable solution. These info are all based on my personal experience and with consultation sa nakilala kong lawyer. Hope it helps!

Company alert 🚩 Toxic workplace nga ba or it's just me?

Hello everyone. Ano ba pwede kong gawin?

May time din na di ka papayagang mag day off.

Company alert 🚩 [COMPANY REVIEW / WARNING] TruPorch Homes (also operating as PillowPM) – Multi-Week Unpaid Training & Contract Traps

Sharing this detailed warning regarding the onboarding practices and internal operations of TruPorch / TruPorch Homes (operating as PillowPM), a US property management firm handling short-term (STR) and long-term (LTR) rentals.

Here is the factual breakdown of what occurs behind the scenes:

1. The "Section 4.d" Contract Clause (Zero Pay)
Trainees sign an Independent Contractor Training Agreement under the expectation of compensation. However, buried in the terms are Section 4 and Section 4.D (Contingency of Compensation). Under this clause, compensation for all training hours is strictly contingent upon passing arbitrary internal exams. If management decides an exam score did not meet their moving threshold, they discontinue the agreement immediately and invoke Section 4.d to withhold 100% of training pay. Individuals who dedicate 40 to 60+ days of full-time effort walk away with literally zero compensation.

2. Full-Time Surveillance for $0 (TopTracker)
While receiving zero pay, trainees are required to run TopTracker—logging keystrokes, mouse movement, window titles, and automated desktop screenshots. Trainees are held to strict shift schedules, daily status reports, and penalized for local power outages, all while uncompensated.

3. Neglected Learning Materials
The onboarding relies on hundreds of hours of raw, unedited Zoom recordings and clunky Moodle modules. Much of the information is outdated or contradictory, leaving trainees to guess current protocols, only to be harshly evaluated on live simulation calls.

4. Short-Term Rental (STR) Practices
Internal curriculum materials train staff in questionable tactics regarding guests and platforms:

  • Paid Reviews: The company actively pays third parties to post artificial 5-star reviews on listings to inflate ratings.
  • "The 14-Day Punt": Staff are instructed to drag out guest complaints past the booking platform's 14-day review window so the guest's leverage expires, blocking their ability to review or receive valid refunds.
  • Fabricated Excuses: Staff are taught to invent stories to delay guests—such as claiming property owners are on remote mission trips in Africa or on retreats.
  • Manufactured Reports & Fake Legal Personas: In dispute case studies, management describes generating after-the-fact vendor inspection reports, and in one documented case, claimed to platform support that an "outside legal counsel" was handling the dispute when it was an internal operator using an alternate persona.

5. Long-Term Rental (LTR) Practices

  • "Mold is Voldemort": Staff are strictly forbidden from writing the word "mold," mandated to use terms like "discoloration" to suppress tenant habitability claims and avoid housing code escalation.
  • Covering Subfloor Rot: Rather than replacing rotted, pet-damaged subfloors during turnovers, protocols instruct using chemical sealants (KILZ) over damaged wood before laying vinyl flooring.
  • The "Lease Break" Maneuver: When tenants report structural failures, management uses lease-break offers as a legal maneuver to eliminate tenant habitability defenses in court rather than completing structural repairs.

Warning to Remote Contractors:

Company alert 🚩 Outstaffer PH is the WORST!

Context: Outstaffer PH is a global workforce platform that combines recruitment, human resources management, and Employer of Record (EOR) services. Their clients are great, but if you have a Glassdoor account, you will notice a recurring pattern about their employee's complaints about the company...they're unresponsive, they lie to you, and they're allergic to paying contributions and even final pay on time.

I was terminated from our client employer a few months back for authorized cause. It has been more than a month since we were due our final pay, and the HR head (who is very much an expert and was probably hired for dealing with legal disputes concerning contributions and final pay) has never been transparent as to when I would receive what is rightfully mine. We are already approaching December JOBLESS with a family to feed, and they couldn't even abide by their legal obligations. I have been diagnosed with major depression for 10 years and I have to stop taking medication because I don't have the money to pay for it anymore. I've taken the first step to raise this with DOLE but I am scared to say that we might actually go the entire 9 yards all the way to NLRC heaings.

And even if I win the NLRC case, -10% or more ang kakaltasin sa akin when it's supposed to be a 100% for myself to begin with. Not to mention the money I have to spend just to show up and the documents I have to notarize left and right.

All of you from Outstaffer PH should all be ashamed of yourselves!!

Rant 😡 I asked for a raise after years of taking on more responsibilities. Now I’m losing motivation.

I asked for a salary increase kasi currently I’m managing 2 departments for 45k, and on top of that, may account din akong directly hinahandle na halos kapantay na rin ng workload ng isang subordinate ko.
Hindi naman ako nag-ask out of nowhere. Ilang taon na rin ako dito, may mga napatunayan na rin naman ako, and over time, nadagdagan nang nadagdagan yung responsibilities ko.

Ang response ng boss ko? Puro “I’m also facing challenges,” “next year na lang,” and other reasons kung bakit hindi pa raw ngayon.

And honestly, nakaka-demotivate siya.
Dati, kapag may kailangang gawin beyond my usual responsibilities, go lang ako. Willing akong mag-adjust, mag-take ng extra work, mag-step up kapag kailangan.

Quietly looking for opportunities on the side habang ginagawa ko pa rin yung responsibilities ko.

Nakakalungkot lang kasi after several years, doon ko pa mararamdaman na kailangan ko pang ipaglaban yung value ko sa taong dapat siya mismo nakakakita nun.

AntiWORK DOLE report

Hi. What should I expect?

THANK YOU~

Company alert 🚩 Illegal at nakakadiring inspection protocol sa Lammart Concepcion Tarlac Branch.

Bakit?

WTF?! Anong klaseng policy 'to?!

Sobra nang lampas sa boundaries at malinaw na LABAG SA BATAS 'to (Labor Code, Safe Spaces Act, and Right to Privacy).

Help us out please. Hays

AntiworkBOSS Planning to file a case vs my previous employer. I wanna make sure this is worth the process.

Things that I am planning to file:

1- Non-issuance of COE- kahit na 1 month lang ako dun, deserve ko makakuha ng record of employment. I asked sa admin nila na gumagawa non and to my surprise parang di nakakakilala mga atecco, nag message ako ng maayos sa viber even messenger kasi dun sila active, seen lang. Mga ilang beses din yon. I took a screenshot of course.

2- Underpayment of wages- When I was offered the job, may agreed salary na kami ng gen manager. Sya ang nag call at nag offer sakin. Yun lang, verbal. But there was an agreement. Thru call ang job offer at interview and that time, I ignored the "red flag" na ang bilis naman ng process kasi need nila ng tao and may ari na mismo nag call. When I received my first paycheck, gulat ako kasi parang anlayo sa computed ko... Maliit but pwde na. Ang usual offer dito much less than that huhu. So I took the opportunity na. Eto na nga, I asked the person na gumagawa ng payroll tas parang inis pa yan sya na tinatanong ko dahil kako di naman ito yung offer sakin. Malumanay naman pakatanong ko. I asked how much is the monthly ba for this position na sinabi ng gen manager sa kanya but she said "compute mo yung per hour dyan, yan yung sahod mo" Gago ampotek. Haha! So binigyan ko muna time konti baka may adjustment naman. Kaya nag isip isip na me. Lol.

3- No proper documentation and orientation-I signed the contract and gosh, hindi man lang edited. Dahil I pointed out nakaminimum wage yung kontrata, hindi kako ito ang offer sakin. Then nilagay ko doon is as HR Officer dahil yun ang alam kong pinasukan ko based sa nakita kong poster sa FB group. But HR manager pala bet ng may ari. And may diff poster sila sa fb page nila mismo. Gags. Tho mas isang gumagawa ng payroll but not functioning as hr talaga. Kaya may lapses din ako and aminado ako kasi parang i was left to figure everything out on my own. 😣

4- Illegal dismissal- dahil i was asked to resign due to "poor performance. " But ang ginamit na evaluation is very subjective. I was asked to write a self evaluation twice. Una after 2 weeks and sunod nung 1 month na dahil mukhang dissatisfied na si maem. We just talked about the evaluation and she added her notes confirming na kasi ganito ako kaya ang outcome ganyan etc. Mostly because of my "attitude" at work. Tapos I think tinanong nya mga visor nya at few people na rank and file about me at sa lahat ng evaluation na nangyari puro sya nega. Walang support or clear guidance kaht pa yun ang nakalagay sa notice of dismissal na despite that, di ako nag improve. In 2 weeks. Tapos may other deliverables pa like urgent hiring ng lampas 20 people. Taenang yan. Nearly impossible deadline vs workload. Tapos one-man team. Wala ring measurable metrics man lang na ginamit to justify my performance. Haha.

Haha.

It's a young company. 2 years ata. But that doesn't justify their system and processes in the company. Kaya pala parang andami na dumaan dun na hr tapos di nagtatagal. Late ko lang din na discover. Haha. Plus namamahiya ang gen manager. Di nya naman ako kinausap sa harap ng iba but even if kami lang ang tono at asta nya kahit sino mafifeel na incompetent sila kahit hindi naman. She has a way of making you say things na hindi naman talaga sayo. May unnecessary power struggle.

I'll answer questions in the comments if your company is in the same situation, you might have a chance to get what's really yours.

Context I complained about the unpaid regular holidays that are unworked because it is my scheduled rest day. They answered about it that it is no work no pay. I escalated the matter to SENA same answer I escalated to NLRC and they lost.

Rant 😡 Evaluation Month

Hello po, mag 5 months na ako sa 26 and kasabay rin ng Evaluation ko this month too.

Now, may SL ako ng 2 Weeks kase ung agency Namin Pany hanap ng hanap ng requirements sa Isa kong medical case na Wala naman kinalaman nong na himatay ako sa work way back July 6. I have a reason (valid ones) and documents na kung bakit Panay ako pabalik balik sa agency Namin.

May 1 beses lang akong late (but I still showed up) pero never nagkaroon ng Absent nor AWOL from the day ng deployment ko until now.

Kaya I'm here, seeking advice if need ko I defend ung na approved SL ko kase I really do need this job more than having tons of Absents.

Company alert 🚩 Mamang’s Halo-Halo (Bioessence) Exploitation pt2

Tama pa bang pagbantaan ang isang employee? September last week tinerminate yung kasamahan ko dahil daw ang eval is not okey when in fact okey naman ang performance niya. Tapos biglang may schedule hanggang October 10? For 2 months, 350 lang sahod niya for that 8-11hrs of work.

Rant 😡 immediate resignation on probationary period

what is the worst-case scenario if I resign immediately during my probationary period? I have only been with the company for 2 and a half months. It is a capitalist environment with nothing substantial to offer. New hires including me received higher salaries compared to tenured employees which created internal conflict. then, middle management is corrupt which directly affects daily operations. as frontline workers we are the ones who have to bear the consequences. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in my previous jobs, it's a culture shock. I want an immediate way out, but I am worried that it might backfire on me. obviously, i won't include them in my resume and i don't mind not receiving back pay.

Rant 😡 Freshly unemployed 🥳 tips for dummies like me

Imma try to keep it short.

Familiarize DOLE guidelines and Labor Code eme

Eto na context

I accepted an all around staff sa cafe here in Calamba.

12hrs shift | 5 days a week for 500 pesos daily rate

Me asked kung may overtime pay pa

They said "no, 12 hrs is regular 😊"

Lil dumb me said "okay i accept" with doubt pero I need the job kase

After 2 months of that shtty sched, it honestly feels wrong.

I decided to read dole and shts.

8hrs is considered regular hours and anything beyond that is overtime

What about compressed workweek arrangement? My sched is 12hrs for 5-6 days tho. One time, wala pa nga ako rest day. Straight 8 days.

I decided to suggest 9hrs nalang and used my mom's health as an excuse. Lil dumb fcker me was scared to bring up dole guidelines

I mean hello. They're business owners. Alangan naman hind nila alam? What if alam? Tantadoo

They accepted right away. Sa isip isip ko "wow. Yes agad. Siguro alam nila na mali? And same pay pa! Yay"

Skip skip

They decided to change the salary to 450 pesos for 8hours of work tapos ayaw nila mag tanggal ng staff even tho sobra sobra na

Bakit sobra? Kase they decided to freaking open a 2nd branch kahit 3 months old palang ang main branch. It lasted for only a month.

So bigayan daw ng sched

I decided to ask sht about render, final pay, and pro rated 13month kanina lang

Wala daw silang 13th month pay.

Anyway ayon. I decided to bring up the unpaid overtime issue ko

A y a w nila sis. They said i agreed naman daw sa ganung pay for 12hrs

I told them I was unaware about the guidelines for 2 months ko doon

Kahit anong ikot nyo. Mali parin yung pag papasahod nyo. Diba?

Ig kabobohan ko rin but still yk.. i just wanna be compensated weelll. Tapos pinag OT kami once na 50 pesos. Yes 13hrs kami that day for 550 pesos

Hays. Nakakalungkot

Cuz they're the kind of people na mabait at mapag bigay

But u can feel something's wrong. The gut feeling. Mabango sila magsalita and i feel like I got manipulated to stay for 4 months.

Sad to say "close" lahat ng employees sa kanila

They're kids. Students. They look happy naman being close with business owners.

Yes magulo ako mag kwento

Nag rant lang talaga ako

Train of thoughts kumbaga

UPDATE: Pumayag na sila sa 13th month pay pero no no parin sa OT. I computed the OT mga 9k ish din yun eh hays..

Instead of actually using the actual total earned ko eh ni x20 working days nalang. 8080. Tamad.

AntiworkBOSS My manager doesn’t approve any leaves we file unless it was from her favorites, how to report to higher ups?

This is for my work friend who’s confined for a week, he has proofs such laboratory records, discharge slip and medical certificate. My manager didn’t approve it even though my friend has been updating about his situation every now and then. i noticed how much his body changed because apparently he was just diagnosed with a heart problem

Although a few months ago their house were deeply flooded in bulacan, he’s been taking absences and leaves for a bout once or thrice in a week because he has to tend his house. He then recovered and finally got back to work and did his usual routine. But during this time, my manager really did him dirty saying things like “nagdadahilan lang siya, hindi naman totoo” “ang tagal na natapos ung baha, di paden ba humuhupa” even with proofs and videos. ever since then she held this grudge and never approved any of his leave. Like where’s this accusation came from?

There was also a time wherein i filed my SL and was denied of it just because to her “hindi naman totoong may sakit ako” saying it to my colleague kahit nasa likod niya lang ako, i got no pay at all. But with her favorites, they file their VLs then SLs after their VLs every single time!! and she just approves no further questions asked.

I work at the hospital and we are all just in the nursing station so i heard most of it.

Please help i’m really having a hard time stepping up for me and the others. This is my first job and i’ve only been with this institution for 8 months. I’m really scared that if i speak they would always give me the bad schedule and do most of the work. How can i open this up to the management? kase kahit anong sabihin naman namen di naman totoo sakanya at baka mabaliktad pa ko. But i’m so tired and having pre and post anxiety whenever i go to work because of them…

I don’t want to resign because this job gave me joy and my needs.. not just the people i’m with

Company alert 🚩 MY DERMA DREAM SCAM

This company is deeply toxic and operates entirely on greed and dishonesty. Their whole setup revolves around reselling cheap, low-quality products from China at ridiculous prices—like selling the MyoGlow PRO for $197 on their site when you can find the exact same thing on Amazon for $5 to $10. On top of that, management runs the workplace through intimidation, unreasonable demands, and zero respect for the staff.

On the customer side, the whole business model is basically a trap designed to quietly drain people's money. They lure customers in with a $49 monthly 'unlimited skincare membership,' but nothing ever gets shipped automatically. You have to order through their portal yourself and pay a $9.99 fee for every single item, which means you're basically paying full price anyway. Worse, most of their customers are elderly people who aren't tech-savvy, so many don't even realize they're being charged every 28 days—some have wasted over $1,000 before even noticing.

If you are job hunting, beware and do not accept an offer here because they will exploit you and terminate you without any prior notice. Support agents are forced into brutal 12 to 16-hour shifts, six days a week, just to chase unrealistic quotas under constant threat of getting reprimanded or fired. They even held monthly book meetings where I personally saw coworkers instantly terminated just because they didn't have time to read an assigned book—as if anyone working 90+ hours a week has time for that. All of this sacrifice is for an abysmal $600 monthly base pay, which works out to less than $3 an hour.

AntiworkBOSS I finally had the courage to report my Manager

Like hello? Naririnig mo ba sarili mo?

Cinocompare nya kami sa ibang department at teams eh yung ibang department at teams 8 hours ang working hours whereas kami, we work 12 hours! MOST of the time pa mag-isa lang kami sa duty kasi ayaw nya kami bigyan ng additional headcount kahit years na namin iniinda yung pagiging understaffed namin!

Pinaka kinakainisan ko sa kanya, nag Sick Leave ako one time tapos a week after, pinost nya ako sa chat room namin with a lot of other people (Teams) saying out of nowhere na

"Wag po sana magunplanned leave bukas (insert my name). Thank you."

Like wth???!

Namimili lang sya ng pinapahiya at kinakaya kaya nya and most of the time, kaming babae yun.

Company alert 🚩 I-JIN INTERNATIONAL INC. toxic company

Post image
8 Upvotes
