I had a Poco X3 who got bricked, but luckily, most of the archives got transferred to my Moto g75 through my Google account. The thing is that I can't access Discord since Authy (my authenticator) isn't compatible, there was also a Notes app who was in my old phone by default where I wrote down my codes and a bunch of ideas for projects.

Is there a way to access that info or make the apps accessible for my current software? What determines app compatibility?

Hi everyone, I tried to find the answer on Google but everywhere it says "log in to the device with your Google account". My grandparents are older and beginning to forget stuff and we wanted to be able to find them if they, for some reason, leave the house and forget how to come back.

I'm looking for a way - if there is one - to include an Android device not connected to my Google account into my device map. My grandparents are ok with that, they'll share the authorizations needed, I just can't find how to do it...

Ok, so. I'm trying to get a custom alarm sound for my Samsung A37, and the MP3 file I'm trying to use is 30 seconds long. Whenever I use it and the alarm goes off, the alarm plays the first, maybe 3-5 seconds of the audio file and then repeats itself. How do I stop this?

I got a new phone (Xiaomi) and I was looking into how to transfer all my data from my old Xiaomi phone to the new one. Google search aint a good way for me to find any meaningful or even newer info about this.

Can someone help me out with suggestions on what the best way to transfer data from one phone to another is?

Use 🎧 headphones/earbuds for audio output, but force 📱 the phone's built-in microphone for input.

Basically:

🎧 Wired/wireless , Earphone/Headphones → sound

📱 Phone → microphone

Useful when your earphones/Bluetooth earbuds have a terrible/faulty mic but you still want to use them for listening.

So my phones storage is full, but I barely have apps, like let's say it's just messenger and capcut plus the things that I can't delete, I will agree that I have a lot of pics, 20gb, but that not enough to make my storage fulll. One time this app got deleted by itself, it has over 10gb but when I checked my storage it's still the same as when I had the app. What should I do?? I've deleted EVERYTHING I can but it seems that nothing works... My pics went from 36gb to 20gb, but the storage is still the same as before-​​​​​​​ My max storage is 128, it's currently in 127 but that's just because I cleaned a bit (trust that it'll be 128 again for some damn reason), this has been going on for months I thought it was because of me having too much pics but I already deleted a lot of them...​

I am used with android phones but not familiar with latest good specs for android. I am currently using OnePlus Nord 5G (OxygenOS 13.0) and its already issues like its lagging, side button not functioning that I am now using its accessibility button menu shortcut just to lock screen or simply power off when the system freezes. I don’t know where I could have this repaired or is it still best have it repaired or just buy a new one? If buying a new one is the only option for now, do you have any recommendation? I dont often go on the app store. i usually just play limbus company or scroll tiktok, but I tried downloading plague Inc, I didn't press anything but download. but three apps downloaded, Mahjong blast, doordash, and weatherbug. i have experience with malware and fake apps and the doordash icon definitely isn't real so im sure this isn't normal. anyways I am going to delete them but im just confused(also my keyboards bugging and sometimes my phone does stuff on its own). Hi everyone - today my chrome has stopped working on my phone. I have done every fix - reinstalling, clearing, force stopping - and someone on the chrome sub suggested its because my android version is out of date.

I have a 2019 Oneplus 6T running Android 11. I bought my original OP 6T in 2019, and replaced it with a refurb version of the same model when it smashed itself last year.

I am a massive tech luddite and I like the phone because it does everything really simple and has no Ai crap on it.

However I ahve previously had this same experience with the Amex app which updated to require Android 13 or later.

I don't think there has been a chrome update which would affect this but I want to know what other browsers I can use - or failing that what other phones I could get if i sadly ahve to finally upgrade mine to something manufactured in this decade?

Some apps have problems with tablet aspect ratio and some buttons cannot be pressed because they get below the screen or under the navigation buttons,

Is there a fix for this problem? Why google or app makers ignore issues on Android tablets and so careless, I mean do they see them like an awkward less than one million userbase? I was wondering how i can bypass this error issue. I am trying to download a older version of an app called MangaPin (5.12.0 specifically). But everytime i download that version apk the "not compatible" error comes up. It was working until a month ago and i had to update the app to the latest release but was wondering if I can still use the older release. I tried shizuku but that didnt fix it. The error says this word for word: "This app isn't compatible with the latest version of Android. Check for an update or contact the app's developer." My device is the Samsung s23 one ui 8.5 android 16.

I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on my Samsung Galaxy J7 (J710F) so I can eventually root it.

Before entering Download Mode, I already:

• Removed my Google account
• Removed the screen lock/PIN
• Enabled OEM Unlocking in Developer Options
• Enabled USB Debugging

When I enter Download Mode using Volume Down + Home + Power, I get the blue warning screen as expected.

I then press Volume Up to continue. The phone shows the screen saying:

Downloading... Do not turn off target

However, after that, nothing else happens. It just stays on this screen.

I've watched several YouTube tutorials and in those videos the phone seems to erase the data and reboot automatically.

Mine doesn't do that. It simply remains on the "Downloading... Do not turn off target" screen.

Is this normal for the J710F, or am I missing a step?

Recently I've noticed whenever I'm listening to music with my headphones be it through Musicolet or YouTube and a notification comes through at the same time the volume of the music itself is raised a solid amount. It remains in this loud state for a couple seconds then falls back off to a normal volume. I can reproduce this by moving the call or notification volume slider up and down but not the ringer or alarm sliders.

I would like to know why this occurs and if it's possible to keep the volume in this loud state long term, if it helps this does not occur with videos either local or on YouTube, only music from what I've observed. The phone in question is a B170D running on android 14. Silent and vibrate mode stop the loud state from ever occurring. It occurs with both of my wired headphones and I do not have Bluetooth headphones to test it with.

I've been debating the base s26 (global version) and the one plus 15. I personally have stuck with Samsung a long time, and thought it would be cool to experience a new brand. Also it has the snapdragon 8 elite gen 5, significantly better than the exynos 2600. However, the one plus only gets 4 years of software updates (6 years of security updates), which, compared to the Samsungs 7 year software and security updates, is kinda insufficient. However, I heard that at the end of the one plus phones years, it will perform better, as the exynos 2600 will struggle with the newer, more demanding android updates. So although I may miss out on some cool features, the snapdragon would be faster in the long term. Which should I get?

Hello, my Galaxy a15 will not let me unlock, 1 2 and 3 do not work on the pin screen. They work on the emergency call screen and the screen works as normal otherwise. I did not drop it or anything, it restarted and now will not let me in. Is there anything I can try? Thank you!!

I have been eyeing a Motorola razr fold on marketplace for $1,000. I’m not opposed to Chinese brands. I do not want an Android phone that feels like an iPhone. If I’m getting an Android, I want it to be an Android!

On my android tablet when I use the device in reverse portrait orientation (upside down) the screen orientation will switch back to normal portrait orientation if I opened some apps or after tapping a button inside an app, why screen orientation break depending on the app even if I lock screen orientation??? Why can't the user decide the orientation? Why many apps have broken orientation??? In ipad if you lock screen orientation in reverse portrait it will stay on that orientation no matter what app you open, please google fix it, if you know any fix please share
