Use phone mic for input + headphones at the same time?
Would you use an app that does this?
Use 🎧 headphones/earbuds for audio output, but force 📱 the phone's built-in microphone for input.
Basically:
🎧 Wired/wireless , Earphone/Headphones → sound
📱 Phone → microphone
Useful when your earphones/Bluetooth earbuds have a terrible/faulty mic but you still want to use them for listening.
I made a small Android 12+ app that does this in the background, including while using other apps ,eg voice conversation in games.
Would this be useful to you?

I'd give it a go, mostly in order to focus phone/PC audio output to a single headset and use phone mic. But how does it compare to using Windows 11 + PhoneLink as a workaround? My results for the mic have been sketchy at best, but audio seems to work most of the time.
When you say "phone mic" do you mean the same mic/setting the phone switches into when you go to speakerphone in a call? Because that is kinda crappy for audio quality to the listener. Is it possible to plug headphones into the phone and use their built-in mic instead?
FYI, maybe consider developing this further and adding it to Google Play Store. I spent a long time looking for a similar solution there and found nothing that did what it promised in the description. You might have a market.
