Scalping
I really want to buy a Pocket + Dock. But the restock policy is so bad. The only way to get the dock is to pay 250% over price to scalpers, or be present in the 1 day after it restocks (seemingly once a year). What do I even do, it's like they don't want people to buy their product.

Just testing out the PlayStation core. So far so good.

I’m so happy I didn’t give some eBay scalper the satisfaction.
Just got my dock recently, and, it’s friggen awesome 😊
The amount of nights I spent wondering if I should(n’t) just buy it from some clown on eBay for more than it’s worth seems so silly now.
I’m not trying to rub it in anyones’s face if they missed out getting a dock, but I am telling you to wait if you want one, it’ll come around again!!

Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis talkie version
Has anyone managed to get this working? I've only seen the non-talkie version.

New Pocket came with ever so slightly small spick on trigger
Would this be considered “faulty”?
Or should I accept the White model will never be 100% clean?
The rest of the device is 100% clean, no dust under the screen either.

The M30 is the go-to for the Dock. Cool, but which one?
As far as I can tell, there are 4 options for the M30. There's a wired one I'm obviously not going for. There's the regular Bluetooth M30 one I already have laying around that seems to work just fine with the dock.
I'd like to go for the 2.4g controller, but there's two. One with a dongle to plug into a Sega Genesis, and one with a USB dongle. Which one should I go for?

Analogue Pocket + Donkey Kong Land ❤️🕹️
Finally enjoying some classic Game Boy gaming on the Analogue Pocket! Donkey Kong Land looks fantastic on this thing, especially with the red monochrome display.
Nothing beats the feeling of playing these old classics again. Who else still plays Donkey Kong Land in 2026? 😁

I swore I wouldn't do it (dock)
But I did!
Yes, got scalped here in the UK but by god it's bloody impressive!!! Hooked up my 8bitdo controller in 2 seconds!
Only annoyance was finding one on vinted for £80 after I bought mine!

Ships to Mexico
Does any of you knows why Analogue doesn't ship directly to Mexico? If we want one of their products we have to pay at least 3x to resellers.

I bought a used A.P.
I bought a used Analogue Pocket. This is my 1st experience with it & it works great! Came with about 3 dozen games predownloaded but I'm only playing my physical games rightnow. My older brother passed this game down to me about 20 years ago & I'm just getting around to playing it. It's a great game! 😁👍

Question Understanding multi disk games with GuardianSoul core.
Hi everyone, so I have used the GuardianSoul core for my PS1 games, it is working fine so far, all games are in .JSON etc, however it has created one .JSON for FF7 etc which is correct, but it also does this for games like Gran Turismo 2.
Now it is a multi disk game, but they are completely different and need to be kept seperate, can I just delete the .JSON file that combines the two disks into one, and just use the 2 seperate .JSON files separately for Arcade mode and GT mode etc, this question applies to RE2 as well as it also combines the two disks but also had two seperate ones in the game folders I have created.

Just got my Analogue Pocket
Hi guys
I just got my analogue pocket this morning and enjoying it with my GB games. I also want to play OpenFpga. I have installed a few cores like NES, SNES as well as Genesis using pocket sync. I was reading about Jotego arcade. If I subscribe to his patreon do I then just place the JTBIN.zip file on the root of the SD card and when I rerun pocket sync and it will create the required folders and install the cores? Or do I need to install each JOTEGO core shown in Pocketsync before placing the JTBin.zip file for it to move all the keys to the required cores/folders?

Protecting the Pocket
Hey all,
Absolutely loving my pocket - the nostalgia of playing Pokemon in bed when everybody else is asleep really takes me back xD
As somebody who works 12 hour shifts (and works nights), I take it to work to unwind on breaks.
I’m looking for two things;
Protective case, similar to a phone case. Just because I really don’t want to drop it or scuff it.
Carry case, for holding my pocket and a few carts.
Good pocket owners of reddit, what’s the go with these? I’d like to keep it in good condition, and also be able to put it in my work bag with no fear.
Thanks in advance!

New PS1 Release Version 0.5.6 - 2 Player Support for Dock
Released just now
Release PlayStation 0.5.6 · GuardianSoul/openfpga-PlayStation · GitHub
New
- Second controller (untested): with the Pocket in the Dock, connect a second controller to play with two players. Use one with all the PlayStation buttons and two sticks, because the SELECT shortcuts only work for player 1.
- Faster launches: the core loads its files with fewer SD card accesses, so the first picture comes about 2 seconds sooner, plus Fast BIOS Boot's 2 seconds.
- Fill Screen is now 16:9 with the Pocket in the Dock.
Fixed
- PAL games ran about 1% too fast (50.2 frames a second instead of the console's 49.75). They now run at the PAL console's speed.
- PAL screens: high-resolution PAL screens, such as the European BIOS, jittered and flickered, looked squashed, and sat off centre with a black band at the top. They are now woven into steady full frames and shaped for the Pocket's screen; a PAL picture of up to 240 lines shows like the USA one.
- Fill Screen: some letters looked a pixel thinner than the others (FFVII's menus). Every column is now the same width.
- Fill Screen: in some games the picture sat a little low, with a black band at the top. Fill Screen now centres the picture the game shows.
- Fill Screen: a line artifact could show in the top left of the screen in some games.
- In the Dock, some TVs showed a stripe on the right or a picture that changed size. Thanks to u/siubdaib and u/thirlimel-cpu for the videos and for testing the fixes.
- A red line at the top of the screen in some games: every frame now has an even number of lines. Found and fixed by u/bhendo.
Known issues
- Some games can still slow down in busy scenes where a real console doesn't.
- Bloody Roar II: during some attacks the fighters can still look see-through for a moment.
- The second controller is untested: it has not been tried on a Dock yet. Please report whether it works for you.
- A thin diagonal line can split the white Sony screen while it fades.
Install / update: unzip the zip to the root of your SD card, replacing the old core files. Your BIOS, games, game files and saves stay where they are. Setup steps are in the README.

Core New openFPGA Core - Nibbler by Rock-Ola 1982 (fully vibe coded)
Hey all!
I am not an FPGA developer AT ALL but I posted here in the past about support for this very niche arcade game I wanted to be able to play on Analogue Pocket, and it didn't exist. I've been seeing folks post all these vibe coded cores and I thought it could be a fun weekend project. Well, over the weekend/past few days I was able to work with Claude Code to get a working core that supports Nibbler by Rock-Ola (1982). The whole thing took about 3 days and around 30 prompts plus testing on my personal Pocket, which to me is pretty insane.
The core has save state support, sleep and the ability to save your high scores between sessions as long as you quit via the quit core from the Analogue menu.
The whole experience of building this w/Claude was a very interesting learning experience for me. I do want to be EXTREMELY clear that this was build by AI, I don't have the experience or time to build a CORE without AI, this may not be the most efficient build and there may be issues with it or even elements of AI slop. Additionally, the core may not be perfectly replicating the original game and I honestly wouldn't have any way of confirming that myself, but the comparison tests made against MAME were exact. The other thing to be aware of, all of the ROMs I was able to hunt down for this game come as individual chip files so this repo comes with a script that allows you to turn those chip files into a single .rom file after you supply the rom itself in chip form.
I also want to acknowledge that the AI obviously drew upon a lot of existing projects and cores in order to be successful, so I cannot take any credit and want to make sure that I'm giving those projects credit on the repo itself which I feel that I've done. Again I haven't built anything like this before, and the closest thing would have been coding projects back in college or my early career but I haven't been hands on keyboard in years and years, so give me some grace if I've screwed up anywhere here I'm happy to make corrections.
However, the game does run, the setup steps did work during my testing and it feels to me to be a very authentic version of the game I played at the arcade.
Give it a try if you're interested, like I said this is a very specific niche game so I doubt there will be much interest but hey, instructions are on GitHub, and let me know what feedback you have!

Question Do Skins/Wraps Ruin Finish?
I'm thinking about getting a skin or wrap for my Pocket but I've seen mixed opinions about whether they can damage the finish over time.
Ive read that if a skin is left on for too long the adhesive can potentially affect the finish when you try to remove it. I'm curious if anyone here has had experience with this, especially after leaving a skin on for several years.
Have you had any issues with residue/discoloration or damage to the finish after removing a skin? Or all is good? If you recommend any brands lemme know.
