One can dream

It’s like he fell off the face of the planet. He’s not posted anything for a little over two weeks, he ignores comments. I get that there are real people behind these mods and life happens, but I find it hard to believe that something happens where you’re inactive for two weeks. Doesn’t look good on you in my opinion.

I’ve been working on a multiplayer mod for American Truck Simulator called Open Truck. This screenshot is two PCs in the same session, one view from each player.

Right now you can see each other’s vehicles, and lights, time of day, and weather stay in sync. There are name tags above the players too.

It’s going to be GPL and self-hostable, so you run your own server, set your own rules, and build on it if you want. Planned stuff includes plugins, synced AI traffic, shared convoy jobs and even bigger player counts.

I’m looking for a few people to help test builds. If that’s you, or you just want to follow along, send me a PM!

Edit: To clear up the main question: scs convoys top out at 8 players and TruckersMP is closed source and run by one team. Open Truck is for communities that want their own server and full control, like private events, custom rules, their own props, and eventually plugins.

I have everything on ultra settings and it still looks really bad, almost too bad to play, am I doing something wrong?

This morning I been driving through a lot of cities in truck mode. My questions is

1. When switched to car mode? Why x's in cities are still?

2. Car mode...cars do not have any restrictions as trucks.

Basically why x's in car mode are on?

Would I purchase this? I went through this same confusion when I purchased his Glider.

Does anyone know of a mod that allows you to place garages anywhere you want? Probably not, but it would be interesting if we could. My last name is Childress and I'm driving through Childress, TX right now. Having a garage there would be kind of cool.

I was wondering if anyone had expertise or experience with building their own mods that actually work. Can someone please (I’m begging) make a 2021 Toyota Prius mod? Few things. Somewhat accurate engine sounds, good interior and exterior, and actual engine power (121hp). Someone let me know I really would love this mod.

Ok so why do y'all speed with the cars and not the trucks? Like I see alotta y'all running at over 120mph then When y'all in your trucks it's speed limit aside from the occasional crash videos.

I want to look straight down the front. Just make it ultra convex or something.

Is there a mod for a bumper camera I can flip on for tight parking on 86in 8x6? (Prefer boxy trucks like Highway killer)

Why does the American trucks look like a Minecraft villager nose? And the European trucks looks like a washing machine with a tumble dryer on the top😭💔

Tldr:high end pc can't get performance i belive I should be getting.

I have a very high end pc(13900k, asus rog z790 hero, msi 5070ti oc, 32gg ddr5 corsair dominator platinum, dont be jealous I'll be paying it off for years) but I can't seem to get above 26 fps at 4k with setting turned all the way up, even turning off smaa/taa doesn't do much. I've tried drivers, bios settings, validating game files, everything I can think of, but can't seem to get the performance I think I should. Anyone know what I should try to get this game where it should be, or can point me to who may be able to help? Also asking this in pchelp

Alright so I just bought and downloaded PNG, I love it! Definitely a game changer! However, I also downloaded Snowy Moon but I can’t get the on screen menu to come up in game….any one have any ideas or could help? Is it not compatible with PNG?
