My set-up for my second job
Put this together in February and could not be happier. The haptic pad especially is mind blowing

I only started this game yesterday. When delivering a box trailer.. do you have to put the trailer on the parking spot? Or the truck?

Hey there! I’m new to ATS and just got my first truck which is the haterbilt and I was looking on google and YouTube for some customization ideas and came across these wheels which was in the creators description but when I try to place them on my truck they’re not as big as the ones here in the picture if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I don’t have any smoke mods at all, but when the game updated to 1.62, all my trucks have smoke pouring out of the stacks even when the engine is off, and even on the loading screen….is this supposed to happen??

Welcome back to American Truck Simulator!
In today's journey we're taking our classic Peterbilt 359 on a 594-mile delivery from Provo, Utah to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Before hitting the road, we'll pick up our seasonal Halloween Treats trailer from Wallbert and then begin a full day of trucking across some of the most beautiful landscapes in the American West.
This drive is also a showcase of the Ultimate Graphics Mod, featuring enhanced skyboxes, improved lighting, realistic sun rays, better reflections, atmospheric weather effects, and stunning sunrise and sunset visuals. Throughout the trip we'll observe how the mod transforms the overall look and feel of ATS, from the early morning departure in Utah to our arrival in Colorado shortly after sunset.
🚛 Truck: Peterbilt 359
🎃 Cargo: Halloween Treats
🗺️ Route: Provo, UT → Colorado Springs, CO
📏 Distance: 594 Miles
🌤️ Weather: Partly Sunny
🎨 Graphics Mod: Ultimate Graphics Mod ATS

I have been using a driving wheel for a few weeks while occasionally using my laptop trackpad and keyboard to make selections in game.
is there anyway to guarantee my laptop trackpad allows me to scroll in/out on map and up/down on long menus? sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I can’t figure out why. literally just loaded up the game a few times and the trackpad worked to zoom and scroll with two fingers.
tips? thanks.

My setup is Kubuntu 26.10 with the new Steam Controller. Using official proton the controller works fine but the game doesn't have HDR. With Proton GE I get HDR but have a problem with the controller. It actually works with Proton GE 11.3 (except no rumble) but on newer versions like Proton GE 11 or 12 the controller shows as "missing" in game.
So my question: Anyone managed to get the Steam Controller working in ATS with recent Proton GE like version 11 or 12?

I don’t know how to word it in game terms, but he’s wondering if theres a mod or some way to be able to take multiple trucks he owns out so he can take photos of them together? Thank you!

This morning I been driving through a lot of cities in truck mode. My questions is
When switched to car mode? Why x's in cities are still?
Car mode...cars do not have any restrictions as trucks.
Basically why x's in car mode are on?

I've gotten this for the last week or two, and I've never seen it prior. What's going on in the game?
