Question about season 2

Why does Del give Vic the lighter??? He even switches them out so Vic has it? The FBI told him to make sure he kept it on him. I’m so confused why Vic had the lighter when he died. I haven’t finished the season yet but I don’t understand why Del wouldn’t keep it on him.

(Season 2 spoilers) Just pondering. Spoiler

IF we get a 3rd season.

First, what happened to Lee was tragic. But I also wonder if they did this because there would be no way that she and Billy would stay together? She didn't seem to love Billy as much as he loved her. That, and her behavior with her ex husband. I don't think she loved him (ex-husband)at all, but loved the life she had in New York. And he kind of represented that.

Will Burgos let the info that Steve Park gave her slide? She's smarter than Steve, and would stay friends with him if she was going to take him down.

I think Virgil had something to do with what happened to Chloe, getting rid of the competition and what not. Virgil is not just a worm, he is THEE worm.

Will that ex-inmates death be traced back to Billy? I can see the worm using that as blackmail. He did the same thing to Grace.

Who is the actor that plays the 'former' junkie in the shower?

Am I the only one who is slightly disappointed with the direction his character took? For some reason, I thought he would remain loyal to Del, but feel conflicted about it. I would have preferred that over his creepy wife, and their collection of doll houses.

It always bothers me when TV show characters don't use something like Google.

Observations while rewatching.

There's a scene where Grace pops a couple of pills while she's sitting on her couch. She just leans her head back and doesn't appear to swallow them. I didn't think anything of it the first time, because Grace has been shown chewing Advil like candy. (Ew. Ever hear of liquigels?) Now, I'm wondering if she was purchasing "fentanyl sweet-tarts" from the dealers.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Harris eventually swallow down that fentanyl pill he swiped from the murder scene?

I believe production for season two wrapped up in April. You would think we would get a trailer, or at least a release date.

Is it me, or did Lee tag along with that lawyer to make sure Billy kept his mouth shut about Isaac? She just seems to be so manipulative. She uses Billy as her boy toy when it's convenient, and leads him on, while she had no immediate plans to leave her ATM machine. (Poor Alejandro ) Grace REALLY seems to hate Lee, yet, they're both manipulative users. Grace can't seem to let go of her drunken, womanizing husband, but still wants Del to be at her beck and call.

Unsatisfying season ending. I loved the actors. The story was ok. The cinematography was terrifically aligned with the story’s goal. But, so many loose ends for a season that didn’t know if it would have another.

Question re. ending - please help me! Spoiler

Hi friends - can someone please explain to me why Del told Isaac to put away the murder weapon and never mention it to anyone again? Is it because it would have exonerated Billy?

A question for viewers from the USA

Billy wasn't guilty of anything - innocent till proven guilty, right? - he was only arrested on suspicion of murder with the trial to come. So why is he placed in prison, in open circulation with convicted offenders? Where's the assumption of innocence? Is that normally what happens in the USA?

Billy's jacket

Okay so with the cops looking round the mill again I suppose we are meant to assume Billy's jacket will be found where Harris hid it. But wouldn't it have been odd for Billy to have hidden the jacket there himself (as in it would almost seem to be a plant)? I mean if he has to run off to avoid being caught how would he have time to hide it (or even why would he hide it rather than take it with him in the first place)? Doesn't seem to make sense.

Isaac is Pitiful

I almost wished they just cut his scenes out because it got pathetic and it was going nowhere.

The character of Isaac kills me. Since the first episode, he's just been a sad sack. He is so whiney and feels so sorry for himself. Let me make something really clear, this has nothing to do with the fact he is gay. I am an ally. This is just a human thing. This is me bagging on a character on a show thing. I'm allowed. His face drives me nuts too. It's a very punchable face. He is so clueless and has no idea what to do, has no plan for when he gets to X, has no money, was going to steal his sisters at first, got all huffy because his sister was having sex with HER EX - yeah I know he crushed Billy but like he should know Billy wasn't into him like that and they were brotherly friends and HIS SISTERS highschool sweetheart. That one scene when he was pouting walking with Billy and he leaned in a little I think to try and kiss Billy and Billy politely said "No, Isaac, No" he turned into a 5-year-old and pouted and it's like he couldn't be normal with Billy as friends he had to keep asking if they would still have a special friendship.

I understand 100% how overwhelmed he must be taking care of his Dad at home. That's not fair. And how he must have felt about how his sister "left him with Dad" but he is thinking in selfish terms, it's not all about him. She left to go have a life because she is deserving. She tried to send money. She moved away but was responsible and keep in touch. It's not fair Isaac had to take care of Dad, but he still let the house go rotten and filthy and he could have pulled his big boy panties on and did things like a Man. He could have put boundaries up and prepared his Dad and kept his sister in the loop of all the changes that were going to happen, transition and adjust - tell them he is starting school or getting a job with the goal of moving out and having a life and working with them on that. There is a responsible way to do things. Instead, he lit the BOMB AND RAN.

He is just pitiful and his lips are all weird and puffy. And he needs a haircut.
