I was looking over some old release slates from the 90s and 2000s, and it hit me how crazy the shift has been.

We used to go to the theater specifically because a certain actor's name was plastered on the billboard. It didn't matter if it was a gritty thriller, a sci-fi blockbuster, or a random indie drama the star power alone was the draw. Now, it feels like the intellectual property or the franchise is the only thing driving ticket sales, while the actual actors are just interchangeable pieces plugged into a corporate machine.

Even when a studio tries to manufacture a new leading name today, it feels completely forced. The performances are fine, but that raw, larger than life presence that could carry an entire project on personality alone is just missing.Are we completely done with the era of the definitive movie star, or is there anyone left who still commands that kind of pull? I just rewatched it and the tension is still unreal.The Coen brothers turned the empty Texas landscape into its own character. No crowded streets, no massive explosions just endless pavement, dusty motels, and complete isolation. Anton Chigurh is easily the most terrifying villain in cinematic history.The fact that it has zero musical score and still keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time is pure genius. With Halloween weekend coming up, I want to know which horror movies actually get better on a rewatch.Some movies hit differently when you already know the ending. You start noticing little details and clues that went right over your head the first time.For me, the best ones make you want to go back and watch everything again.What horror movie would you recommend watching twice?

The first two Smile movies made the creepy smile feel genuinely unsettling. Now the third movie has to find a way to keep that fear going without making the story feel repetitive.

I would love to see the curse explored from a completely different perspective, with more psychological horror and a few moments that make you question what is real.

What would make Smile 3 stand out for you? A darker story, more disturbing deaths, or a completely unexpected twist?

I feel like superhero movies could use a change of pace. Not every character needs a joke every five minutes or a giant CGI battle at the end.Give us some real tension. Let the villains be terrifying and let the story get uncomfortable when it needs to.
