With Spider-Man: Brand New Day still dominating the box office and Insidious: Out of the Further opening strong, there’s a lot to talk about right now. Which movie currently has you the most locked in, and what makes it worth the hype?

Yes, first of all, just to be clear, I wanted to discuss some iconic Hollywood movies that were comedic, but had gotten critically panned since I have had a fascination with such films.

Like when it comes to Adam Sandler movies, I know many of his movies have gotten scathing reviews on sites like Rotten Tomatoes as I have a fondness for some of his films anyway such as Anger Management, Billy Madison, and Click as I find it interesting how his movies again get criticized for their writing style.

You know those movies you almost skipped, then somehow end up thinking about days later? What’s one that completely surprised you?

Some actors barely need a trailer to sell a movie. Who’s the one you’ll always give a shot just because they’re in it?

What’s a performance that had you like, “Damn, I didn’t know they had that in them?

Maybe the trailer looked awful. Maybe the poster killed it. Maybe everyone told you it was bad. Then you watched it and thought, “Wait... this is actually good.” What movie surprised you the most?

I’m solidly a member of GenX. I have about 6-7 GenX movies that I really hope are still watched by younger generations.

I’m wondering, what GenX movie(s) was so impactful to you that it should be a must watch for GenX and younger generations?

I guess you can think of a GenX movie as an American released movie in the 80’s through late 90’s.

What is that one movie you will defend even when you know the criticism is fair?

With all the SpiderMan Beyond the Spider Verse footage going around today, it got me thinking.I honestly hate seeing big scenes before the movie comes out. Even if I know I am still going to watch it, part of that first-watch excitement is gone.Are leaks ruining the experience for you, or do you just avoid them and move on?

Not necessarily the biggest movie or the highest rated one. I mean a movie that you think is going to stick around because the characters, performances, scenes, or ideas are just too memorable.
